Amazing facilities, very well designed and maintained, lobby was a comfy place to be with fireplace and comfortable furniture, incredible desk staff — especially Raymond who gave us his hike recommendations for the nearby Elwha River watershed, the abundance or large framed photos in all hallways showcasing the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula, great parking, our room had 2 separate bathroom sinks, large rooms (400 square feet) and a welcome place to return to after a day of hiking. We also enjoyed their late fall very affordable rates. This really is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in for many years.

The front desk was so kind and welcoming. The fireplace in the lobby was warm and inviting and the hot tub outside was perfect after a few days of hiking. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a nice view of the golf course. I was especially impressed by the beautiful landscaping around the property and loved each framed and labeled photograph of parts of Olympic park. We walked around seeing each photo and mentally checked off what we had seen and what we would like to see. We also enjoyed the couch and chair options for seating around the lobby and corners of the upstairs balcony. Breakfast was great - a variety of options hot and cold, plenty of seating, a clean eating area.

Only that some of the facilities are becoming a bit dated and could use updating.

After traveling from Seattle and staying in a very small hotel room there, this room was huge in comparison. The room was very spacious and quiet. We had excellent restful sleeps while staying here. The room had everything we needed, including a microwave and fridge. The location was great for our stay in Port Angeles, getting to and from Olympic NP. We didn't get breakfast any of the mornings, so can't comment on that. The staff were always super friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here if you're staying in Port Angeles for a few nights.

Great lodge feeling in the reception area. View towards the golf course behind the hotel was wonderful and calming. Heated pool and whirlpool open till 10pm. Included breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable and room was quite big. Unusual layout of bathroom with one bathroom sink outside of the bathroom itself. Although very fitting into the overall design as lodge, the room itself was very "brown". Easy to find and free parking outside of the building. Would stay there again next time I am in the area.

Would not change a thing - all very good and clean.

We stayed 2 days in the middle of December - and enjoyed this hotel - big clean room, very comfortable beds, nice clean bathroom, perfect location for ferry to Victoria and ride to Olympic Park; very special feature in this hotel - spacious, club-style lobby/lounge with perfect views to green of golf course - and there was a fire in fireplace every evening, great place to seat with a friend or a book ……

The breakfast is quite poor

Interior design, furniture, photo art on walls- all contributed to a decadent lodge experience. Very pleasant one night stay. Good service.

Nice to have breakfast included but the paper-cardboard plates, plastic cutlery & paper cups were a slap in the face to the surrounding levels of lodge elegance. Ditto for the paper cups & plastic cups in the rooms. A terrible amount of waste & garbage for all this effort to diminish waste in our environment. You can do better.

Breakfast was continental. The meal room was really clean, nice views, food assortment varied. The rooms had just been renovated and the entire lodge felt classy cozy with warm atmosphere. Spa was really wonderful and used pool for quick dip. Very clean. Lovely grounds.

It wasn’t something that I didn’t like but rather something I wish they had. A bar area would have been wonderful especially after a few days hiking & exploring all the beauty of Sol Duc, tide pools, Crescent Lake, Elwha….

The Lodge is really clean and comfortable. The grounds are really nice and there are several water features. There was a crackling wood fire waiting for us in the lobby. The Lodge backs up to a golf course, so it’s really quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Our only disappointment was that we only stayed for one night.

The Olympic Lodge by Ayres is beautifully appointed, on par with the best ski lodges anywhere. Clearly Ayres takes extreme pride in the decor of their properties - warm and inviting color palette everywhere in the hotel, rooms, lobby even the halls. Beautiful art on all walls - best we have ever seen in any hotel. We traveled from New Jersey, stay here overnight for the ferry to Victoria - wish there was more to do here as loved this hotel that much.

Sorry, nothing we didn't like, other than there isn't anytime else of tourist interest in the area.

Large comfortable room. Housekeeping came in each day to make the bed which was lovely and sadly seems to be unusual these days.

1. It’s very ‘brown’ - could do with a bit of an update 2. Room was very dark even with all lights on. A ceiling light or some Reading lights would have been useful 3. Pillows were hard- the provision of different/ softer pillows would be good.
