OMG ! Breakfast was outstanding ! Wife was very pleased with all elements, AND she is VERY hard to please !!

Honestly, really nothing ! Staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful. Could even understand them over the phone (lack of foreign accent) which was nice. Okay, one thing would be that Breakfast be available a bit longer , even 9:15-9:30. When you arrive as late as we do, we seldom get to enjoy breakfast, but I did this time and glad that I did.

The weather was bad with lightening storms that took out the power. The front desk crew was personable and accommodating with us, and all the other potential guests wandering in from the storm. There was an air of comradery in the lobby, in the dark, while we all waited for the power to come on so we could get into rooms. The front desk guy suggested we book online to save time when the power came on. They provided water for the travelers while we waited. Two hours later when the power came back on we were in our room within minutes!

Needs to updated. The place was clean but it was looking a little aged.

Surprisingly modern and updated and exceptionally clean! Staff was professional, polite, and genuinely friendly! I expressed at check-in, how exhausted I was, and coming down, ill from my long day of traveling. The young woman checking me in picked up on this and didn’t miss a beat, placed me in a beautiful room on the third floor, quiet and facing the river on the backside.  I had an exceptionally comfortable and quiet stay and enjoyed a hot breakfast with a large variety of foods to choose from! I Wright, my experience, five star, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in years !

The property is tucked back off the road without much signage. Luckily, I found it on Booking.com online.

good location right off highway next to river. room was comfortable bed was very nice and one the best I have slept in for a long time. Good value for the area. Cleaning staff was very helpful and prompt.

Need to have grab bars in all showers. Small price to prevent falls in bath. Really would help the older population, and there a lot of us.

The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful upon check in and check out. The room was clean and the beds super comfortable.

The tv coloring looked a bit hazy as if the tv was on its last leg. At breakfast the person attending to the food and restocking items seemed to be annoyed with any questions asked. The breakfast attendant also stated she would get more of an item and bring it to us but she never did, that made for an uncomfortable situation with the kids because one could get hot chocolate and the other one waited and waited and never got it.

The location was perfect for what I needed and the place was very clean overall. Matt helped me check in. After I checked out the next morning, I got a call from Matt that I left something of value in my room. I was able to go back and get it and I am very grateful to him. The bed was comfortable, the temperature of the room was great, it was clean. The area felt safe and the people were so friendly.

Facility we're pleasant upon arrival and quickly and efficiently checked multiple people in with little wait time. The hotel was very clean and well taken care of. We're only going to stay here during our future Vacations and other hotels from this company.

Nothing! Honestly there's no complaints we have. Outstanding job on cleanliness and service! 5 stars across the board!

Clean and comfortable king room with extra seating, mini refrigerator, walk in shower, and a very good complementary hot breakfast buffet. Close and well lit parking. Convenient location to the expressway.

The shower assembly was unstable and flimsy, but did work fine.

Had problems on arrival we booked and paid for room originally through Booking .com and the receptionist could not find the reservation 2675398975 on the Comfort Inn computer site and even though I had the reservation receipt on my phone still the issue couldn't be resolved. Couldn't contact Booking.com Amsterdam is 5 hours in front of US time so it was approximately 2:30 am over in Europe so no answer. The receptionist was extremely helpful and was able to allocate a room to us at a discounted seniors rate for which we were grateful as we had been driving from Canada for over 10 hours and were feeling some what fatigued. Never had problems with reserving rooms through Booking .com before and have used them several times when traveling down into the US, I did get in touch with them and they assured me that Comfort Inn had accepted the reservation and as far as they were concerned my room should have been scheduled. Unfortunately we have been unable to retrieve our initial payment needless to say we will not be using their services again but as you can see from the survey our stay was very pleasant even though more expensive than originally expected, except for the miss communication between Booking.com and Comfort Inn we enjoyed our stay in Charleston W.V.

The staff was great and accommodating, I was able to stay in a good, clean hotel near the hospital for my moms surgery the next morning. The front desk worker was very understanding of this situation and allowed us to stay still even though they have a new rule of not allowing locals within a 20 mile radius…Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean.

I think on their site, that if they aren’t going to accept local residents within a 20 mile radius, they should put that on their site for future guest so some people can save the trouble. I had already booked a room for 2 nights to find out that they no longer allow this so I was very stressed upon arrival that I wouldnt be able to stay. Thankfully the front desk worker was great!!! I don’t blame them for not wanting local people there to just party, but I do think there should be some information for people to read. This isn’t something I necessarily dislike, it would just be nice to have that information for people who may go through the same thing.
