The breakfast was outstanding and much appreciated! Wonderful variety from the scrambled eggs, Mexican inspired toppings, fresh fruit cups, to yummy coffee cakes, bagels, coffee, tea, etc. It was lovely walking downstairs as if I was dining in a favorite grandparent or aunt's home. Location fabulous and able to walk up and down Washington Street. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room quaint and lovely.

It was very very noisy before 6 am with either street cleaner, garbage pick-up, vacuum running! I don't know if all of the rooms experience that level of noise. A refrigerator would be a bonus as I had leftovers from a lunch during the day.

The inn is located in downtown Cedarburg and walkable to local shops and restaurants. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. Offered to put us in the main inn when there was unexpected roof work being done on the secondary home where our room was booked. Breakfast was a nice variety and the evening social was also very nice.

Everything was really nice. No complaints.

The building was so quaint and adorable. Old world charm and very comfortable! Every night there was a complimentary wine and cheese hour and every morning there was a delicious complimentary breakfast. The room where breakfast and wine and cheese were served was so cute and right on the street so we could look out the window at the shops and all the people walking by. We’re definitely going to make it an annual tradition to return every autumn!

Not a thing.

Breakfast was excellent but in our reservation. I mentioned my wife's egg and dairy allergy. There were options for her but mainly cold and not many. Really liked the wine and cheese social hour. Great way to meet your neighbors. Maybe have an optional group game during that time, like trivia or something that gets people engaged with each other.

Mattress

I loved the location and the historical vibe . This place had a very nice breakfast spread , all seemed to be fresh. It was great to be able to park (for free ) and walk around town .

Our room was a tad smaller than I thought it would be and the bed was not comfortable. The pictures made it seem larger. With that said , I would stay again .

We just loved staying in a local hotel that has been operating for over 100 years. We enjoyed the charm, comfortability of the room, being downtown, the quiet, and especially the whirlpool bathtub I. The room.

We got a deal on this stay. Normally this stay would have cost $300-$400 per night. The breakfast was good but underwhelming and it was missing a more personal approach. It felt a bit more like a Hampton Inn than a locally run bed and breakfast.

The location is great to walking downtown Cedarburg. The building has so much charm. The rooms are very warm/comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious.

Next time we’d get a room with a King bed.

The Washington House Inn has an old world charm with modern amenities. Each room is unique and ours did not disappoint! Daily homemade breakfast and afternoon cocktail hour lend to a sense of intimate community at this lovely historic locale.

The rooms were like no other. The design of the rooms is outstanding. The artwork and the furnishings were curated beautifully! Yes, the hotel is quite old, but the masonry and vaulted ceilings and beams are amazing. Upon a recommendation to try out the Anvil Restaurant - we found the place charming, with unusual design just like the hotel. The patio sits right by the river and waterfall - so picturesque and the sound of running water was lovely. They also had music the night we were there - it was lovely. The food was fine - not the best we've had but, our waitress was terrific and made the experience perfect, even though the food wasn't.

The lobby could use a refresh...the furnishings looked as old as they probably were. Upholstery and new cushions could do a lot for a better first impression.

The wine and cheese was delightful. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional... Eggs and hash browns, coffee cake, fresh fruit, bagels and cream cheese and assorted pastries. It was very delicious!! The service was exceptional.
