Modern and Updated decor with newer a/c, wood paneling, appliances. Towels and linens were high quality and fluffy fresh. Tub was so clean you could actually take a bath, if desired. Guest Laundry 2 washers, 2 dryers were new large capacity machines, very clean. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker were newer and clean. Housekeeping had adorned the room with origami animal and flower shapes from towel and tissues.
Needed more hangers than 6 provided. Old fashioned key and fob were nostalgic but bulky to carry, prefer electronic door key.

Room is a typical room in the area, so don't expect a standard 4-star experience here but it does the job. Location is great if you are going to Grand Teton or Ski in winter. Jackson Hole is 1 miles away, a very cute resort town got everything you need and cool restaurants. Staff made extra effort to clean the room. It is a highlight of this hotel. Front desk is extremely helpful, warm. They accommodated a few requests we made. Big shout out to all the staff!
The room prices seems fluctuate a lot. We booked one month in advance and learned it was actually about the same price to book on spot and some days can be cheaper. They have a price sheet on the wall showing $100/ day stay for a 7 days booking. Not sure how updated it is but It does make me feeling like overly paid.

Excellent value for the area. The room has everything you need for a comfortable nights sleep. It's a road side motel on the way into Grand Teton National Park so the location is what you are paying for. It's also only a 5 minute drive outside of downtown Jackson. There is a nice view of the elk refuge and mountains directly in front of the motel. You can also get a morning coffee free at the convenience store and gas station that shares an access road and parking lot.
Morning traffic going into the Grand Teton can be noisy. If you get to the room late in the evening you'll have to park far away from your room.

We planned this driving vacation to Grand Teton and Yellowstone on short notice, and available options were scarce and incredibly expensive. We originally booked a place to stay in Driggs, Idaho, that would have required an hour and 20 minutes of driving each way, each day. We are so glad a room opened up at Flat Creek Inn just before we had to pay for the other reservation. It is situated halfway between Jackson, WY (where all of the restaurants, shops, etc. are) and the entrance to Grand Teton National Park - so really the best possible location if your primary focus is on exploring the National Park. There is a convenience store and gas station, and free coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby of the convenience store. It is directly across from and has sweeping views of the National Elk Reserve, and we were told that in winter when the herds come down into the valley you can watch them spread across the vast reserve. Although the prices ran about $300/night, that was still a relative bargain compared to the prices at other available hotels in Jackson. It was 1/3 higher than the cabin we had booked in Driggs, but saved us 3 hours a day of round-trip commuting - well worth the trade off.
Mattresses are too soft for us, but nevertheless we slept well. Had to drive to get to any restaurants.

Loved the location away from downtown and a little closer to the park. The interior had a log cabin feel, Bonus of hot chocolate packet being offered with coffee in the room, although there were free hot drinks at the convenience store if you were a hotel guest so we didn’t use anything from the room. interestingly there was a little speaker with options of white noise, rain sounds, or other, probably to drown out the traffic noise, Although the nights we were there , the traffic noise was not a big deal and the room overall was pretty quiet in general. Front desk staff was really nice. Brownies, apples, and little granola breakfast rounds were available in the lobby. Would stay here again.
Mattresses were definitely old , very lumpy and soft,

My friend and I stayed at Flat Creek Inn while visiting Grand Teton National Park, and we were happy with the price and proximity to the Moose entrance. This is a motel on the side of a highway so we weren’t expecting luxury, but the staff were very friendly, the room was clean and quiet, and the facility seemed well maintained. The inn is connected to a gas station mart where guests had access to complimentary coffee, and the mart also sells stuff like yogurt and granola bars for a quick breakfast. Coin op laundry is available onsite. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable alternative to staying in the park.

The location of this hotel is perfect, is on the main high way and close to other attraction of the Nation Park, will not get the traffic jam while going to the main town. Having the convenient store and gas stay in the same area. Room renovation so inside quite new and clean.
Soundproofing between floors is not good, especially at night, footsteps are very loud. The breakfast is very simple. Booking.com offered free bicycle rental, but the hotel said this option is no longer offer. So booking.com should check with the hotel before offering this option again.

Great value for money, handy convenience store on site, good location for both the town of Jackson, and Grand Tetons national park.
Minor complaint, but an SUV reversed into a parking spot right outside our room, completely ignoring the multiple signs that said not to. In the morning they idled the car for some time before they drove off, which made our room smell of exhaust gases. Please do more to stop this happening. You take the details of every car on check in, so this could have been resolved quickly, asking the owner to turn the car around.

location was perfect for our 1st time visiting the Grand Teton National Park. 5 mins to downtown Jackson (without road work) and 15 mins to national park. We stayed for 7 days and was so happy to be on 2nd floor. Very busy location of travelers. Never heard anything was peaceful.
When we 1st walked into our room; there was a smell of other customer stay that smoked in the room. But we put on the ac to move the air and had air freshener. This cleared it up within 30 minutes.

The location was great: a little north of Jackson and not far from the airport or the national park. The room was clean and housekeeping was great. The bed was also comfortable, and the room had a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker which were perfect for our needs. All in all, a great place to stay and would stay here again.
Our only small complaint was that the heater only worked on the high setting, and the low setting did not work. Not a big deal and could easily be fixed. My husband thought the tub was a bit slippery, but I didn't have any issues with it.
