Hanoi Boutique House is a fantastic place for travellers. Absolutely central location, right at the market. Just sitting in front of the bulding is the greatest movie of all time. Daytime the street is really exciting, nighttime it is really quiet. The room is comfortable, big, clean. Coffee and tea is available anytime. And most important addition: Mr Tien. He is the nicest host as anyone can wish for and he will help you with everything. Absolutely recommended!

First the owners are really sweet and reactive if you have an issue (no more electricity in my room, solved in few minutes). I also got upgrade to a bigger room which was a really nice attention. The AC in the room was working perfectly and the bed was comfortable

The owner was so welcoming and helpful. He spent a considerable amount of time with us arranging tours, stored our luggage, allowed us to shower after checking out and his restaurant recommendation was spot on. He also directed us to an atm which charged no fees. Nothing seemed like too much trouble and I trusted him. He gave us his WhatsApp number in case we had any problems on the tours he booked. Fortunately we didn’t need it but it was good to know there was someone who could help us if necessary. The beds were clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is in a great location in the old quarter. I would highly recommend staying here.

Tien’s positivity was infectious. He was so obliging, welcoming and warm and extremely helpful. He arranged some lovely excursions for us - nothing was ever any trouble. The location of the hotel was excellent (old quarter) for exploring Hà Nội. The street was bustling with food markets with the locals going about their day-to-day activities. Our room was comfortable and adequate. Great start to our trip to Vietnam. A huge thank you to Tien for being an amazing, hard-working human being 🙏🏼

The towels were rather tired. Could have done with a kettle so Tien didn’t have to provide water downstairs. Extra bedding during the colder months would have helped but we managed!

Very nice, clean rooms. Good value for money. The owner is really helpful and friendly. Location is perfect, right in the centre of Hanoi Old Quarter.

We had a good time staying at the Hanoi boutique House. Mr. Thien is very friendly and helpful with all your needs and always ready for a joke and a laugh. He made us feel very welcome, which was even the more great since we came from a very quiet place into the bustling centre of Hanoi‘s old town. The room was great, location very central so you can reach a lot of things by walking. It is located in a busy area, but Hanoi is a busy city - and for that it was relatively quiet . You can find many nice cafés and restaurants in the area. And Mr. Thien is always ready to cater to all your needs! I like the owner, he is very responsive and lively. Especially, when I already checked out and left, I was on my way to Sapa and I did not know if i left my watch in the room or kept in the luggage( gladly found it in my luggage). He still quickly replied on my query and assured me to notify and update. Appreciate it. Thanks also for the pick up driver when I arrived. I vouch for this hotel. Hope you get a lot of bookings all year, everyday. Bless you sir and staff 🙏

Just a little noisy outside coz it is in the market hehe but not a big deal and also no lift hehe but overall 100/10

friendly hosts, super last minute booking (5 minutes notice) and they accommodated me. place was nice enough. in a hostel area so lots of tourists, but also tons of locals. in the morning the entire street is filled with produce vendors and everyone comes to shop.

I stayed in Chiang mai for $16 and it was hotel quality. this was $19 and very basic $14-18 quality. hole in the sheet, more run down/old etc, loud at night. but not bad, I wasn't uncomfortable, it was pleasant, and good location. but for disabled or injured travelers, all rooms require high incline stairs.

However booking offered me probably a wrong room, the host was very flexible to change the room. The host was always very happy and welcoming, very helpful about everything. We felt ourselves safe.

By arrival there should be better to describe a taxi pick up/down point because if you come with big luggage from the wrong direction of the street, it is not pleasant. Booking didn't show that there are different rooms: I just added a single room with same photo and it was a very low high. Windows were very little. Air conditioner some old. Tap water smelled a bit. No elevator.

The Staff at Hanoi Boutique House were incredible, the owner of the hotel was incredibly friendly and very helpful. He helped us get settled in quickly and was also very reliable for booking transportation and giving tips for what to do in Hanoi. He also recommended to us his tour group for Ha Giang Loop (we went with the 4 days 3 night option) and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience, we have stayed here twice now and would definitely recommend it. The owner Tiến is a breath of fresh air and is definitely one of the kindest people you will meet on your travels! The rooms were good quality and get the job done for a short stay in Hanoi, clean with good air conditioning, no reason for complaint.
