The reception and room service staff all so friendly and perfect. I was robbed by a taxi in Vietnam when I took taxi to the last hotel. But I believe that taxi driver must not dare to rob me if I live in this hotel as they have security staff just standing outside of the main gate. And their location is very close to the government place. When I check out and call taxi to the airport, their staff also help me to confirm the destination and price with the driver. So nice of them.

The room might be too old, may need a renovation. The washbasin was leaking when I live in the room. Hope it has been fixed now.

This hotel is well located ,its within a walking distance from all the monuments, sight seeing and of course, the market. The staff is sweet, lovely and attentive. I took the premium room and loved it, but I would not recommend it for a couple, I think it's too small for 2 ppl, not to mention the clear see through bathroom and toilets :)

I will say, that if u r planning to work remotely or just rely on the WIFI - don't. It's awful. The staff did their best trying to fix it, and were really attentive and pro active, but it didn't change anything. Other than that - I have nothing

The location was great - on a street that was not too wide or busy and thus easy to cross. The main tourist landmarks and sights were seldom more than 1 km away and within walkable distance. Also within walking distance were restaurants, cafes, money changers and shops. The nearest Family Mart convenience store was only 200m away along the same road. The room was clean on arrival. Airconditioning was efficient and quiet. The bed was a bit hard but not a problem for me. Lighting in the room was good. There were plenty of power points, including one USB point built into the wall near the desk. There was a digital safe and a mini-fridge. Both were in good working order. A kettle and sachets of coffee and tea were provided, as were 2 small bottles (350ml) of drinking water each day. Wifi was good. The room had a TV but I didn’t use it at all, so I don’t know what channels it had. The room had a small desk about 0.7 x 0.4m surface area (I wished it was a little bigger). The fixtures in the bathroom were in good working order. Water pressure was good, hot water came through within 20 seconds at most. Drainage was good. Towels were clean, dry and fluffy. The breakfast buffet was relatively simple with 4 or 5 cooked dishes (Chinese style) including fried rice and fried noodles. For those used to a European breakfast, there were the absolute basics – bread, butter, ham, waffles, tiny squares of cheese, even tinier pots of yogurt. Eggs could be ordered and freshly prepared. Fresh fruit was available. Staff were very pleasant and many spoke English. This is a well-run 3-star hotel. Don't expect 4- or 5-star standards for a 3-star price.

The desk was too small. The breakfast area was usually crowded between 7 and 8 am. They had only 9 tables for a hotel with (I estimate) about 45 – 50 rooms. Guests in tour groups tended all to come down for breakfast at the same time before their buses arrived at 8am. However, I discovered that if I delayed my breakfast to slightly after 8am, there were free tables, so it wasn't really a problem for me. There were 2 more bottles of water in the fridge but there was no sign to say that they were not free. They should have been clearly marked.

I recently stayed at Sanouva Hotel and had an excellent experience thanks to Trang and the rest of the staff. Unfortunately, our flight was cancelled and we were in a bit of a bind. Trang went above and beyond to help us get checked in again and made sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Aside from the exceptional service from Trang, I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was offered every morning. The staff was always willing to help us with whatever we needed, and the security guard was especially helpful in flagging down taxis for us on a daily basis. Overall, I highly recommend Sanouva Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay in the area. The service is truly top-notch and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Thank you to Trang and the rest of the team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Lift programming could be better

We were on the 8th floor so it was mostly quiet. Outlets on each side of bed. Breakfast starts at 7 am. The building is located on a street full of street vendors and businesses. They did leave notices in the room about upcoming mosquito spraying and that the elevators were being worked on - so helpful to be proactive. Breakfast has yogurt, pancakes, fruit, meat choices, bread choices, juice choices and some Asian choices. Elevator is quiet and quick. Shower has hot water and strong pressure.

Walls are thin - can hear upstairs neighbors as well as next door neighbors. Inconsistent internet. No place to sit outside and work.

The resort is beautifully taken care of. There is a modern and stylish swimming pool which is perfect for relaxation. The breakfast is incredible, it includes plenty of local and international meals for all dietary needs from meat-lovers to vegans. Air-conditioned gym is available and there is a grocery store across the street.

As other travelers mentioned, the rooms could use a little renovation but they are clean and still have a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. This is totally insignificant as Ao Nang offers plenty of activities but just to mention, the selection of TV channels is modest.

The room was clean, nice, quiet, warm water. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good. The pickup service from the airport was not available at the moment I arrived. The staff gave me tips to find a trustworthy taxi. I could leave my bag for 3 days in the hotel (a left for a tour to mekong). It was no problem for the staff and when I got back, they already brought my bag to my room. Very friendly.

I didn't dislike anything.

Very good location to explore all the main sights in district 1. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. As our flight back was late in the evening, we could shower even after check out. The room was very nice and comfortable (I recommend to book a bigger one with window).

The breakfast was not the best but ok - not much variety and they had no vietnamese coffee.

I honestly didn't expect much from this property because I've stayed in similar 3 star rating hotels before and they were all as expected for 3 star properties. However, Sanouva exceeded my expectations for its location, amazing staff (especially bell boy staffs) and the room furnishings. I especially loved the high quality bed linens. They were similar in quality to 5 star hotels I've stayed at.
