Very central opposite River, owner lady was very attentive and nice…. Booked and recommended places for us… nice atmosphere, good value for money…would recommend this hotel.😁

A small matter of 20% extra charge for an early check in!!! We arrived off an overnight sleeper bus at 10am .. we were told by the man on reception we couldn’t check in until 12noon unless we paid 20% extra… ( for 2 hours!!! Infuriating🤬) the place wasn’t busy… our room was empty… we left our bags and went for breakfast locally even though we were very tired… felt he could have easily accommodated our request….

The location is perfect. Steps away from the river and restos. The street comes alive at night with the bars and night market. Dozens of food carts offer all sorts of tasty delights. The cocktail carts have all the booze to make a fab drink. You can sit by the river and enjoy watching the boats glide by lit up with stunning lanterns. We recieved the warmest welcome upon arrival. The rooms are very clean all be it a bit small but comfortable. The shower has plenty of hot water and great water pressure. A small buffet breakfast is provided. Lovely indoor pool to cool off in. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

The stairs. I'm not a fan and we were on the 3rd floor. Should've requested a lower level. The aircon could do with an upgrade.

My stay at the Holden River Hotel in Hoi An was nothing short of magical. A fabulous hotel, tucked away on a very quiet Hoi A side street, but just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the night market, the river and the town centre. For a budget hotel, it oozes quality, very cool comfortable rooms, with high quality fittings and bathrooms. The staff are incredibly helpful, Ms Duong arranged a very reasonable transfer from the hotel to Da Nang Train Station. It was at a lower cost than Grab. Ms Duong is a very lovely lady, very friendly and helpful.

Love the location quiet ally off the river front near centre, staff were friendly and helpful and rooms where clean, a very refreshing cold pool great for cooling off with the humidity

Beds were a little hard for my liking, and door to balcony was difficult to open close, there wasn’t much choice for breakfast but staff were happy to cook an omelette for us as we came down late due to packing up on our last day. A little noisy at night and early morning but it’s all a parley of being in a amazing place

The staff was very thoughtful and considered. Our son wasn’t feeling well on the arrival and the lady from the reception brought us some hot lemon tea to the room. The staff also helped us to book train tickets.

The bathroom floor could get slippy ( during the rainy season) so it would have been useful to have a bath mat.

Amazing location, just meters away from the river with the boats with the lanterns. Hoi An is a beautiful town, and this hotel is in a great place! Walking distance to everything. The reception staff were just so friendly and we had some nice conversations with them. The room was nice, although it was a little old, but it was great for what we needed. Wifi was fast too. Overall very comfortable.

The days we had a la carte breakfast, it was OK! Nothing amazing but just what you needed for the morning. One day we had a buffet breakfast and it really wasn’t great. Maybe we arrived slightly late but it all looked dry and old so we didn’t really have anything to eat. Many fruit flies were circling the breakfast area, which made us uncomfortable, but this is not a deal breaker at all… it really is a lovely place and staff are amazing!

The staff were very welcoming and assisted in any way they could. Great shower and good WiFi. The location is ideal for walking into the old town, only 10 minutes.

We didn’t experience the breakfast but just round the corner was a good place for coffee.

Really good little family run hotel, perfect location, literally on the river side close to all food and drink locations and a 2 minute slow walk to the Japanese Bridge. The staff are amazing, they can't do enough for you, I have a 10 month old, I messaged ahead and asked for the room Aircon to be on prior arrival and this was not a problem. Breakfast was good, not western but still plenty to fill you up, The pool was nice and refreshing after a hot day walking the streets in the heat. The room was nice, the bathroom and shower nice. Don't be put off by how cheap this place is, we definitely want to come back to Hoi An and this will be our hotel of choice.

I really can't grumble about this place, it was perfect for what we needed Only thing I can say if I was been critical, no tea or coffee provided. But for the price you pay I can live with that

The location is excellent. Walking to everywhere and a taxi can pick you up. Some areas cars cannot access. Staff highly friendly and even used family members business for a massage where only locals go.

Breakfast. I missed out on breakfast a few days because the hords got there first. Only so much food is made and when gone that is it.
