The staff was wonderful, the room and the view beautiful. Buffet breakfast was delicious and changed each day,so good.through Bookings.com we got an amazing deal. We were there for 4 days. Too cold to swim in the roof top pool but the view was beautiful ,7th floor. Each room has a large balcony and the alley behind had delicious small restaurants and 2 bakeries. 7 minute easy walk to Old Hoi An the main attraction and just over 2 miles to the beach.

We liked everything. I can not think of anything we didn't like!

The staff were lovely. The bed and shower were good. The breakfast was really good with Vietnamese and Western selections. Great location and with free bike getting to the old town (5 minutes) and the beach (13 minutes at an easy pace). They let you take their pool towels to the beach. Having a balcony was great for drying clothes. Lots of places to eat at in the street behind the hotel. By the way we recommend 'Milan' a linen taylor, 10 minutes walk away. Made 2 replica dresses and 2 tops from favourite items. Done overnight and a great price.

Stayed 6 nights and wished we could've stayed longer.

The staff here are amazing and helpful. Pool was very clean and not busy. We extended our stay multiple times so goes to show we liked it- ended up staying for 11 nights when we had initially only booked 3. It’s good because it’s out of the hustle and bustle but great if you love a stroll, only takes like 5-10 mins to be in the busyness of old town. Free bikes were so good for the beach and biking there was one of my favorite experiences in a month of being in vietnam. They also clean your room at anytime of day so you almost always come back to a clean room - my friend was sick a couple of days and we still had our room made up in the brief time she left the room.

Only complaint would be the last couple of days the pool was out of action

The hotel is very charming, you feel like your in someone's home. The staff is amazing...so nice and friendly, and always available to help. The breakfast buffet was much nicer than I thought it would be for a boutique hotel. While the walk to ancient town is about an 8 minute walk, it's a nice walk with lots of cute shops and cafes along the way.

The place was perfect for us...so nothing we didn't like.

A very family feel hotel. The girls at the front desk were always asking if we needed anything when we went to leave to go explore for the day. Could not fault them. The security guard at night was such a nice man, ran to help us with our bags when we arrived. The room ( junior suite ) was great, spacious and comfortable. It was around 10 minutes walk to the old town to see all the lanterns, was a great location. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend this if you’re in Hoi An to see the lanterns and explore the town. The pool and rooftop was good as well. Room were always cleaned l, thought I’d add that in as in previous hotels this seemed to be an issue.

Not one thing.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to make it enjoyable and to help us in any way possible. They helped us with excursion recommendations, transfers, tailor and restaurant recommendations, etc. The last day they even arranged for us to have breakfast half an hour before they usually open as we had an early flight. As for the room, it was very clean and comfortable, towels and bed sheets were changed daily. The poolside was great and very relaxing. And breakfast included multiple options, all of which were delicious. The hotel also provided free bicycles with which we were able to quickly go (for around 3-4 minutes) to the riverside, which is quite close by foot as well. Overall, our stay in Uptown hotel was exceptional and if we come back to Hoi An, we will definitely choice it again.

Everything from booking to arrangement of transport, sightseeing to laundry. The staffs were always warm. helpful and friendly esp Sue. The hot shower pressure & consistent of hot temp was great. The unblocked view facing the bus terminal is good. Hotel is next to the main road but traffic noise was minimum when the balcony door was shut. We slept well. The balcony is a bonus to enjoy the street view from level 4. Location is just round the corner to old town, not too noisy yet walkable. Breakfast good for us. We had a good stay.

Not really

The hotel is at a very good spot for going to old town, getting something to eat or going to one of the beaches. They have bikes for rent. The staff is super nice and helpful with any tour you might want to book or place you might want to see - but never pushing! Their English is extremely good! We also liked the rooftop terrace and pool to relax :)

It‘s always the people who make you feel home at a new place. My wife and I usually don‘t write reviews, but our stay at Uptown Hotel was so special that we feel like sharing our emotions. From the time we arrived at the hotel, ten days ago, up to being dropped off at the airport a few minutes ago our whole stay was a 10 out of 10. The whole staff is so heart-warming, welcoming and always has a smile on their faces. The room was quite spacious, absolutely clean, the breakfast is the best we‘ve had in Vietnam and the service was just perfect. We wish every member of the staff all the best for the new year and highly recommend staying at Uptown Hotel.

- receptionists were just professional; the rest off the staff went over and beyond and were super welcoming. Everytime we left or entered the greeted us like family. Truly amazing people ( genetor, handiman, kitchen and cleaning ladies) - comfy bed - good shower - good location (walkable within oldtown) - free bikes

There were a few things that were not perfect but nothing major. - moldy smell in the room although nothing could be seen (the first day they put a lot of perfume in so you will only notice on the second day, we stayed 4 and it got worse with every day) - used the laundry service and got pur dirty laundry back after a day (they immediately send it back and had it washed but was inconvenient) - wifi is spotty at best! The pool wifi is okay the rest was almost useless
