The staff and excellent house keeping they were all lovely.😃 We actually were forced to change rooms as our aircon wasn't working properly it was hot. Staff were great we relocated to their family room immediately no balcony but great aircon that's is everything to us. Hard to get in and out.

The spa was really foamy either they need to change the water every 3 months that's standard for spas or their using cheap❔❔❔ chemicals, either of the above does cause excessive foaming in spas. Never ever had this occur in other hotel spas. 🤔 This is sub standard for the price.

The staff were very accommodating, we arrived a little before official check in time and we were able to be let into our room. The location is perfect for exploring the beach and all on offer. The wait staff at the restaurant were very helpful when one of the kids didn't like their meal, nothing was a drama, made it stress free

Somehow I booked the fully accessible room which meant my kids managed to wet the entire bathroom during the shower... Lol

The location is great. Close to the beach, tram and historic places of interest. In general everything in the hotel seemed clean and maintained.

They got my initial request for 2 single beds they confirmed wrong in my room but then upgraded us to a family room which was very comfortable and a great size. The basin in the room had a draining issue and the open shower messes all over the floor in the big bathroom which makes it dangerous especially if you're going to stay in the room with kids.

The rooms have a strange wet, dirty mop smell that is off putting. The breakfast was cold on the first day. The second morning, there was no bacon, no baked beans, no mushrooms, no banana bread. There were so many other people there just looking at each others saying there's no food?! I asked one of the girls working there will there be any more food coming out and she was rude, she said 'it's coming' in a rude condescending tone. When the bacon came out it was almost as hard as a rock. It was very disappointing and certainly not value for money.

The room we chose was well set out with a balcony overlooking the beach. Good facilities in the room including desk space. Decor pleasant and good lighting especially at the bedside for those that like to read before sleeping that doesn't disturb their other half. Plenty of storage space for a longer visit. Very quiet. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Very professional. Meal in the bistro was very good, with a relaxed atmosphere.

loved the set up, able to have corner view and was able to watch colour of sunrise. (The actual sun was not in view due to building blocking the sun but that was also an advantage as you didn't have sun shining in.

Difficult to close curtain at night to block any view into the room when lights on. Had to reach behind voile curtain to pull manually the block out curtain behind. Managed. Also sorry I didn't keep copy of price for Hotel I felt charges were a little higher than expected. Additional charges were applied to Mastercard I originally had thought applied only to Amex and as card details had to be provided on booking found this should not have been necessary. No cash taken at Bistro. Parking we paid for by cash but still waiting on cancellation of $50 held on Mastercard. Lucky checked on booking at bistro for 2nd night as phone pre-booking was not recorded.

Right from the start, Sherie went out of her way to make my 2 sons feel special with welcome bags and checking if they needed anything every time she saw us. The boys loved it and really wanted to say thank you when we checked out, but she wasn't on shift. At breakfast, the chef told my boys he would make them fresh hashbrowns. They mentioned they felt like royalty.

The first night the spa bath wasn’t working and as you need to ask staff to let you in, I missed being able to enjoy it on arrival. Then the next morning after a beach walk, I returned to discover my room key wouldn’t work - staff member had to insert a new battery into the door. Then I went to enjoy the steam room, and it wouldn’t work so again maintenance was needed. The weekend before Christmas, this was too many incidents.

Large comfortable bed. Great location.

Having to double park car in somewhat narrow street, and be honked, whilst spouse went in to check in and get access to hotel carpark. Check in early if using carpark, otherwise you could be double parked for quite a while if there is a queue to check in. Large (beetroot or red wine stain on carpet of our room.

room was ridiculously expensive- $700+just for the room. for 1 night for 2 adults and 2 teens. what gives thats more expensive than a 5 starhotel in Paris! when we got to the room i think I know why - we were given a full wheelchair access room/bathroom. why do you overcharge for those rooms???? the price is way overpriced for value as far as im concerned (for a family of 4 we just needed a simple room with 2 queen beds) and tbh it felt like daylight robbery.
