When I checked in the receptionist was very nice and polite very helpful. I went in had breakfast the next morning the lovely waitress that was working on shift on the 8th of October was so helpful polite greeted me when I walked in she also greeted other customers she was an absolute gem to talk to. If I had to say anything the shower in my room the plastic plug came off where it drains it needs to be fixed and the bed has wheels needs to be taken off so every time you sit on the bed to go to sleep it doesn't roll around lol when I left a new receptionist was on shift and he was lovely as well and the bus driver was very nice and polite great customer service I have a background in hospitality and I always go above and beyond for my clients and they were really lovely people to me thank you.

Just the drain in the shower I was in room 306 and the top of the drain had come off and cut my foot a little bit but it's okay that just needs to be fixed.

There was a kettle but no spoons in the room. The reception gets very busy and as they were understaffed they asked me to coome get one myself from the restaurant. Also I had to wait for the shuttle bus to airport and nobody told me or others I needed a ticket which was awkward as I had lots of luggage and had to rush. They need a sign telling people. Some of the carpets are quite worn or stained.. Didn't like the toiletries supplied just being a body wash for all things and no fresh milk..

This hotel is an easy walk from the Domestic Terminal, and finding it is very simple. The staff were excellent, the receptionist that greeted me was very friendly, informative and answered the couple of questions that I had. Booking the airport shuttle was also very easy with plenty of times available, and it was on time that following morning.

Ate at the restaurant that night, it was a lovely meal with a couple of drinks. The only minor complaint is that it was quite expensive, even by Sydney standards.

Excellent location for airport & exploring. Staff were very helpfull. Booked us 4.0 taxi for airport onward to NZ. Approx 30 AUD which was well worth paying, actually gave him 40, good value to us at that time! Hotel has very good restaurant facility. Excellent Breaky. Railway in walking distance had a system that was, so easy with on off using CRT card- no queueing for tickets.

Carpets were very tired but not an item that can be changed too often so appreciate the footfall they must have. Slight lack of surface area for small items need to re sort when travelling.

Loved location close to the airport and the fact i didn't have to leave the hotel for breakfast was amazing, they have a full breakfast buffet with a continental option and a continental and hot buffet option, rooms are perfect size for a night or 2 and are clean, the hotel is a easy walk to trains and buses, local shops, restaurants and cafe's and if you are up for it, its a 15 minute walk from Domestic terminals T2,T3, use bus or train to get to International terminal T1.

The hallways and lifts between rooms could use a good cleaning.

The rooms and bathroom were comfortable and clean

The front desk staff needs to be more friendly and courteous to brown skin people, I could see clear favouritism to white people. Another instance where there was clear favouritism is when the staff helped another customer heat up the food whereas denied my request for my food to be heated, I even purchased beers ($22) to help my case

Close to the airport. The staff were exceptional. The restaurant/bar downstairs was lovely and stays open quite late. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet (at least until other guests started to wake up early to catch their flights). There is a very handy luggage scale downstairs (although it's rather pricey). A generous amount of tea and coffee plus fresh milk. A nice hot shower.

The 'couch' in the room really needs replacing. The drain in the shower also needs attention.

We just stayed overnight before leaving the next morning. We came by train to Mascot train station from Sydney and walked to the hotel. Early next morning we walked to the domestic airport and it took12 minutes . They had offered a $12 pp shuttle but it was easy for us to walk. They had a restaurant open late so we were able to get reasonable food on the night of our stay. The breakfast also opened at 5:30am. It did all that was required of an airport hotel.

Ibis hotels are consistent across countries and cities, which is great because you know what to expect. This hotel is no different. The room is reasonably spacious and include a time couch, a compact table, a kettle, and a fridge. It offers good value for money, especially if you need accommodation near the airport.

The carpet had noticeable stains and marks, likely from bleach, which can only be resolved with a full replacement.

I loved the convenience and affordable luxury of staying at Ibis Airport Sydney. The hotel is located within walking distance from the domestic terminal and offers a shuttle service to the international terminal for a reasonable fee, with the shuttle starting at the hotel parking. The staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. They even provided for an additional bed in the room, even when we had to change it to a pet friendly room at the last minute and no other rooms were available. The room was clean and comfortable, with a BIG bathroom, a flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator (where my cousin could store his medicines). The bed was cozy and the air-conditioning worked well. The hotel also has a restaurant and a bar, where I enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast and a really refreshing morning juice, before proceeding to the Airport. Ibis Airport Sydney is a great option for travelers who need a quick and easy stay near the airport. They did a fantastic job of welcoming our pet dog and giving him a comfortable bed and treats. Along with water bowls and a separate bowl for food, along with a towel to wipe him down after he came back from a walk.

The rooms had good sound-proofing, but going for a stroll outside was desolate and noisy. The hotel being situated in a busy area, and I could hear the planes taking off and landing, as well as the traffic and the construction work nearby, while outside. The doors have a habit of banging shut, and that gets heard from the adjacent room. The room was small and basic, with no wardrobe, no iron, no kettle, and no toiletries. The TV had limited channels. The restaurant and the bar had limited options, although the breakfast buffet was fresh and had a good spread.
