The hotel is really nice. It may not seem it by photos i.e. put off by the sink in the room, but it is actually a really good room. The bathroom is quirky, but the shower is really nice. The beds were really soft. The airport is about 20 mins away via public transport which is easy to catch from the hotel, and the CBD is about 30-40 mins away via public transport. Easy as. KFC and McDonald's right next door for late night feeds, can't go wrong. Cheap and nice location.

The only thing was our air con did not work. On any other stay they would've changed our room but since we booked over New Years, they were fully booked. The staff did give us a tower fan to try and help out, which was good enough, did the job and was really thoughtful by the staf..

Location for me was perfect, Solo traveler room size was great, bed was very comfortable! Room and lobby was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. About 15-20 min walk to shopping centre with loads of different shops, also train station to get you into the CBD.

Size of the bathroom was a little small, which is fine as that is something that cannot be fixed. There was No shower curtain so water would get on floor.(I hate that) The lack of daily room service to empty rubbish bins, and I had to ask for it to be emptied. Maybe a wash cloth could be added to the rooms laundry needs. Parking was a bit hard at night so had to park away from building.

It was affordable and cheap for basic amenities for short stays. Public transport was very accessible with a bus stop right in front of hotel, and not too far from train station. It was nice to be located next door to McDonalds and KFC for cheap and quick eats. The room and bathroom was clean and met standards to have a comfortable stay on a budget.

The room was much smaller than advertised images. I extremely disliked having a bathroom sink right next to the bed, which felt mildly uncomforwithe for wet floors. This could be solved by having a curtain to segregate different areas. No tissues, no slippers, toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste, old interior design with popcorn walls.

The location was great - close to the airport, and walking distance to multiple train stations, pubs, restaurants. After hours check-in was easy, though I think instructions need to be updated so customers know how it works before they arrive in the late hours. Bed was super comfy - our pillows needed changing out for new ones. Good hot water with plenty of pressure. The windows block out most of the noise from the frequent planes crossing overhead, so you won't be disturbed by them unless you want to sleep with your window open. Maccas downstairs for a first thing in the morning real caffeine hit was great.

The pillows weren't great, and the bin in the room was too small for a multiple day stay. After hours check-in instructions need updating, and communication with the hotel wasn't as easy as it should have been.

Location was great for me. I walked to most places I wanted to go in the Marrickville area. Room was very basic but fine for my needs. Only a two night stay and was out most of the time so I didn’t require ultra fancy accommodation. My room was clean and quiet. Many reviews mentioned noise as a factor but on third floor I literally heard nothing. Had even taken sleep earplugs as a precaution but they weren’t needed.

Room is obviously dated with some detail missing such as light cover in bath space and inner handle on bath space door, but this wasn’t a deal breaker.

It was as expected. Cheap for a reason, but I felt safe, which was important. The room had a pale green prison cell vibe, which is quite fun if you want to know what that is like. There is even a weird washbasin in the corner, rather than the bathroom, to add to the vibe. Fluorescent lights complement the effect. It is nice and close to the airport so it is fine for an overnight stay if you are not into anything fancy.

I did not like most things about the property, and yet it was affordable for a reason. Although dated, the property was clean and secure. You really do get what you pay for. It is fun, in a way, to experience such a place with my safety still being present.

This hotel is good money and if booked early enough, great value. The location is close to KFC & McDonalds with a hotel just a few minutes walk down the road. The room was quiet considering the busy road outside. Staff were very helpful.

The hand basin for the toilet was in the bedroom some 10 steps away. Whilst this is not so bad, there was no soap or liquid handwash or towel at the basin. This should be addressed in the interest of good hygiene. There was a strange shelf thing right at the end of the bed on the wall at head height. My husband had to be very wary not to walk into it. Perhaps this should be removed to prevent head bangs.

Friendly staff. An ideal location for our requirements.

The area surrounding this building is not regularly cleaned. While the problem is not improved by having a fast food outlet on both sides and litter from these businesses is always present. It's not a good look at first impressions of this business. A large pothole is evident on the Southern side of the car park. I am a regular visitor to this hotel and disappointed at the lack of external cleanliness.

Lovely location right near Marrickville. Easy parking, lots of restaurants in walking distance, friendly staff, and the rooms look just like the pictures. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

My room had a leak on the window, which was unable to be fixed. Continental breakfast doesn't change menus, and I was charged hidden fees despite paying for the continental breakfast when I booked. Also, the sink is weirdly on the other side of the room, away from the bathroom.

The bed and sheets were comfy. Private bathroom. Ibis budget St Peters is located in between KFC and Maccas, really convenient if you can't be bothered going out for tea. Bus stop is very close, you are able to catch the bus to IKEA or the train station. It is close to the airport as well, easy to catch a bus then train to airport, it can be noisy with planes taking off and flying above you, but it did not bother us.

The fridge we had frozen our food which was inconvenient. Our AC didn't work - perhaps they turn it off during Australian 'winter'. There was no TV remote so had to change channels manually.
