this place is just wonderful! the staff are so lovely and friendly. the lodges are perfectly equipped, very clean, and have everything you could need: fantastic wifi in rooms and common areas (great for remote working), large bed, bathtub and shower, ac, mosquito net, great storage space for luggage, etc. the pool is a great addition and there is also a common fridge + cold water dispenser on property which means you don’t need to purchase water. the location is a little out of town ($5 in a taxi each way) but it didn’t bother me. they also have many brilliant breakfast options - including for vegans. i was spoilt for choice.

A fantastic guest lodge! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were sizable. They even have insect repellent on hand for you. Ask for handsoap though, as there was only body wash and shampoo in the room The meals were great and the staff were flexible when we ordered off-menu items. We had breakfast everyday and dinner one evening. The food in the lodge is really good. We had the sea bream which was grilled really well. The pool is a perfect place to take a dip after a long day in the heat! The staff were exceptional and really take guest services to the next level. All of them, from the team at reception to the restaurant and bar. Ruth who guided us with our Visa situation by calling a contact at immigration to confirm details. NOTE for Canadian Travellers. Your KAZA visa ($50 USD) IS cheaper than a single entry ($75 USD) but if you decide to stay overnight in Botswana or Zambia, it becomes void and you have to buy another visa. While not really walkable into town, especially at night, its a quick taxi ride - not more than $5 USD. The team are happy to arrange a taxi for you. There is a little convenience shop and a fantastic little restaurant called Social Kitchen within walking distance - with great Portugese Chicken and Sadza & Chomolia. Remember, everything in Zimbabwe is paid for in USD and local ATMs will give you cash in USD. You can pay pretty everywhere with Apple Pay too, from the park entry fees, restaurants, shops (except street side curios and taxis).

I was truly impressed with the staff-everyone was so welcoming! From the gentleman who assisted with our bags to the hosts and waiters, you were all exceptional. A special shoutout to Denise and Ruth-you two were the real MVPs. The incredible hospitality definitely made our stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to Kelly as well for arranging a fantastic tour of the falls, which was perfect for first time visitors like us.

The only issue was that our room was near the eating area, so we could hear quite a bit of chatter. This might not be ideal for those who want to sleep in. Other than that, everything was perfect!

We liked this Lodge very much. The rooms were nice, not as plush as some hotel rooms, but they were clean and the beds were comfortable. The bed was equipped with a great mosquito net although we were fortunate that the mosquitoes didn’t appear to be active at this time of the year. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good with a number of menu choices. We had dinner at the Lodge a couple of nights too and we all enjoyed tasty meals. We had a number of drinks in the bar. All in all, we had a great time in the PheZulu Lodge where we found the staff amazing. They were very obliging, efficient, pleasant and helpful. It should be noted that the restaurant and bar close early, around 8.30 to 9 as staff do not live on site but this didn’t bother us, we had early starts most mornings.

Super friendly and helpful staff, who went out of their way to look after us, particularly Bron, who was so understanding of a flight disruption that altered our arrival - she went above and beyond to accommodate us. The rooms are lovely, large and airy, very comfortable beds, and a nice outlook to the pool and dining area. Breakfast was excellent! We felt like we were able to really relax from the moment we arrived, the lodge has a very tranquil and intimate atmosphere; you can’t help but feel at home.

There is nothing not to like about Phezulu Lidge. The only thing we would change about our stay is that we would stay longer!

Nice little place with nice rooms and very welcoming (& patient!) staff. Nice bathroom and rain shower were especially amazing after a long day on the road. The food offering was decent - variety of dishes to choose from on the dinner menu, a buffet continental breakfast which I enjoyed, and a cooked made to order breakfast was also available. Great to see the hotel weaving in sustainability practices too!

Nothing that would prevent me from staying again, but the policy of charging expenses to a room can be tricky when travelling with a big group. I can see why it's easier for hotels/lodges, but it can feel unnecessarily rigid on the side of the customer. To be fair to the staff, they were flexible with this in the end and dealt with it like pros.

Very comfortable, fabulous staff who were very accomodating and helpful. We were here over Christmas and were treated to a beautiful Christmas breakfast buffet and gifted mugs. We had a load of washing which we weren’t expecting a rush on (it’s Christmas!) but still received back within 24 hours with very stubborn stains removed. Big thanks to Ruth, Atwell and the whole team for making it a memorable trip.

Phezulu Guest lodge in Victoria falls is a nice and clean lodge, not a big one but it has all the comfort you need. Room was very clean. Personal is extremly helpfull and always kind. A very big + for that !

- Breakfast was nice but rather limited - PRice in low season - was for me personly still high and not in line with the expectations although I had a great stay. I think low season they could still lower the price (evening knowing that everyting in the area is way overpriced / Activities etc).

PheZulu is a very nice place to stay in Victoria Falls, good value. Very comfortable room with spacious room, clean bath BF is good and meals are decent. Pool is inviting but in season now, very cold. The central garden is a nice place to relax and catch up on readings, mails. Hosts are very welcoming and accommodating with arranging transport/tours. Highly recommended

location is far 2 km from town, walkable during day only, night can be hazardous with wild animals.

The rooms were great; the staff were amazing. Offered to handle food and itinerary bookings with local vendors. Helped with luggage too. The rooms were great; furnished with a dryer and mosquito repellents. They were eco-friendly with reusable goods. WiFi was lovely as well. The complementary tea station was a favourite.

The warm breakfast was sub-par.
