Our family had a lovely stay at Hotel Kaceli. It was a very quiet location, and our room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was really delicious with a nice spread brought right to our table and the service was wonderful. We also ate at the hotel restaurant, which was really great. We noticed it was always busy with lots of local patrons, which is good sign.

The only downside for us was that it was a short drive into the town where most of the sites were, and parking could be tough. But it was an ideal location for driving to local wineries and other sites around Berat.

The room, the owners, the breakfast - outstanding! If you're in the area, absolutely worth staying there. The room felt like a folktale with a proper, European standard bathroom at the same time. The amount and quality of breakfast was unbelievable, homemade products. If you're travelling by car and don't fancy driving in city (centers) of Albania, the location of this place is perfect. I left my car safely parked there and walked to the center, it's about 20-30 min. I stayed at several places in Albania during my round-trip and this is so far the best one. Great work!

We loved absolutely everything! Amazing traditional style hotel, super friendly hotel owner, super delicious breakfasts from homemade products. (like cheese, jam, honey, fruits, eggs, etc.) Very convenient location- just 2 min. walking to bus terminal, and around 20 min. walking to the city center. Walking path is pedestrian friendly. If you would like to experience real Albanian hospitality- this hotel is definitely your choice. Also you can pay by card! 💳 Thank you!

Everything to like here. First the place itself is amazing looking, has a rustic castle feel to it but it's all brand new and very clean and comfortable, most comfortable stay I had in Albania. As others already praised the breakfast was varied and very delicious. The jams and some of the cheese was even made in house. Owner and the family that runs it were great throughout and also offered bicycle to take to city center.

Stayed October 2022. Great location by the bus station. Easy to get in and out of Berat using local buses or taxis. Much more convenient than staying in the centre of Berat and trying to organise transport out to the bus station in the early morning. Owner and family were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with fruit, eggs, breads and meat.

This was a last minute booking that we needed whilst at the bus terminal. Host immediately responded and let us check in straight away. City is 40mimute walk but a local bus is very cheap that will take you there. Very convenient for our morning bus on check out day. Host very friendly and breakfast was amazing.

The owner was very friendly- you could tell he really loved his hotel and had great pride in it. The rooms have beautiful wooden details and the whole hotel feels very unique and charming. The wifi worked well, the breakfast was yummy, and the restaurant next door is also delicious.

It is very close to the bus terminal, just a few minutes walk. The hotel is not located in the city center but there is a bus across the road take you to the center or you may take a taxi. The room is clean . The breakfast is in large portion and tasty. Good value for money, highly recommend.

A great family-run hotel set in traditional style. Our room was comfortable and met all our needs. The breakfast was traditional Albanian and the owner was delightful. Plenty of parking. The taverna, also run by the family, offered good food.
