Only one coffee per person included in breakfast... that's basically the only negative thing.

What you look for in a hotel!!! Clean and spacious room. The bed was bigger than normal and very comfortable. The shower was spacious and the bathroom had all the amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and staff friendly and helpful.

Sar’Otel is centrally located. It’s a ten minute walk to Skanderbeg Square and a five minute walk to the New Bazaar. It’s also easy to walk through non-touristy neighborhoods for Xhiro (the daily evening stroll that many Albanians take between 6:00 and 8:00). The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The courtyard was pleasant, peaceful and cool during the hot parts of the day. I recommend an ice cold Korca while relaxing amidst the plants. Breakfast included was a bonus. It was fresh, varied and delicious. The staff are kind and courteous. Elsa was particularly helpful. We started our Albanian journey at Sar, and ended it there as well. Elsa remembered us and greeted us with warm smiles. It felt like coming home after a grand adventure. Thank you Sar for being wonderful bookends to our Albanian sojourn.

This is my 6th stay at Sar'Otel since 2014 and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else! The service is always top notch, the hotel is very clean, the bar/terrace area is a good place to enjoy espresso, breakfast, or a glass of wine while watching a game. I really have to emphasize how wonderful the staff has been since the beginning and continues to be. My husband and I always say the value exceeds the cost, easily. Oh, and it's also in a great area that's walkable to many great restaurants/bars, landmarks, museums.

Loved this hotel - so close to the main square in the city and easy walking to everything you need. Good WiFi, good breakfast, lovely lobby, friendly staff.

The only small thing probably had to do with staff communication. My suitcase was 2 days late arriving and I had left the city but was coming back. I asked 3 front desk people,about accepting delivery of my suitcase and keeping it for me and all said no problem. Yet when it came, whomever was there wouldn’t sign for it. It was not a huge deal and something like that would only occur rarely - so that would just be something to be aware of and NOT a reason to not stay here.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in the Balkans. Centrally located close to Skanderberg square, public transportation and restaurants. They serve good breakfast with a nice spread. We received a complimentary room upgrade at check-in. Room and the hotel in general is very clean and well maintained. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful especially Elsa at the reception desk. She helped in recommending where to exchange money, buy a SIM card, and local tour agency for day trips.

We had a wonderful stay — we got there very late and they were accommodating. It is very centrally located and the room and balcony were beautiful we absolutely stay here again. I would also like to point out the comfortable launch chair and excellent shower pressure. And above all the great staff with a special shout out to Kalter and Elsa as well as the manager whose name escapes me (maybe one too many korça beers). The three were very flexible helpful and friendly with travel arrangements short trips and other aspects of the stay.
