This place is definitely worth the money. Hotel is stylish, room comfortable and cleaned on daily base, it has everything you need for longer period of stay, from the indoor pool at -4. floor to amazing view at the rooftop bar. Food in the restaurant was fresh and with many different choices for your breakfest time and friendly waitress there to help if needed at all times. Acctually, the whole team of young people working there is probably the best and most important part of this hotel! Service there is something you don't see often, from the check-in to check-out everything was perfect!

My partner and I both agree that our room was the best we've ever stayed in (tip: ask for a room number ending in 03!). Huge room. Floor to ceiling windows with great views of the mountains, comfortable bed, large bathroom with powerful showers. 9th floor lounge bar offered views of some fabulous sunsets. Great location with the Bazaar and Skanderbeu Square just a couple of minutes walk in either direction. Ground floor coffee bar clearly popular with locals. Staff were great. Problems with our flight delayed our arrival from mid-afternoon until after well after midnight, but the hotel reception continued to liaise with us and the transfer service all through the day to ensure we successfully made it to the hotel; and even at that late hour were able to offer us a (very welcome!) drink. All through the remainder of our stay, everyone at the hotel made us feel always very well looked after. We'd love to return to Tiranë some day, and if we do, the Black Diamond will certainly be our no.1 choice!

We didn't stay long enough to be able to avail ourselves of all the hotel's facilities. We were particularly intrigued by the 'Salt Room' but never had an opportunity to experience it (or the gym, or the pool!).

The Black Diamond Hotel is a fantastic modern stylish hotel in the centre of Tirana with wonderful staff and amazing food. The restaurant is excellently priced and I was blown away by the quality of the food in the evenings when I couldn’t get out to restaurants due to rain. The price of the food was amazing considering its quality. the spa, sauna and swimming pool look every bit as good as the photos in real life and were a highlight of my stay. The cafe on the lobby floor was perfect for coffees and lunch with high quality selection for a low price (even by Tirana standards). I tried the massage and was shocked to find that the resident masseuse is not very busy at the hotel, as the massage was great and at a price that is very competitive, 45 euros for a 1 hour solid Swedish massage is a great price and I wish I had had time to try another massage. Do be aware (at time of writing) that although the spa is open from 10:30am she is not there until after 2pm. Also if you wish to use the spa immediately at opening you may have to ask them to turn the machines on and wait for them to warm up. Housekeeping was wonderful and the room was quickly and thoroughly cleaned each day and we noticed the care and attention to detail that they made. I made a mistake and forgot to leave a tip for them in the room, and was very sad about this. I will make up for it next time. The staff were the real highlight of this property, from the wonderful beautiful ladies at reception who were so keen to help - to the waiting staff who were attentive, cheerful, and efficient. Sessila was excellent and knowledgable as well as friendly and attentive on reception at check in, always smiling. Senna was a delight in helping me plan my future trips to Albania, whilst Stilliana was wonderful in helping me with check out and explaining how to use the spa and sauna. Bernard was always smiling and after helping me with my bags to the room always said ‘hello’ to me.

I think the staff should be treated to a free use of the rooms, so they can better understand and explain the facilities to clients (such as how to work the jacuzzi, aircon, etc…). You may not end up visiting the rest of Tirana as there is so much to enjoy at the hotel!

We've been traveling with our 3 years old toddler and it was first time for us in Tirana. I would like to thank to hotel staff for their great hospitality and help every time when we need help and support. I dont remember anytime that they replied us like " we cant do it" or " we dont have any solution for it" they always had a positive response for our request. They are really friendly for my toddler and she felt like home because of their reactions. We would like to thank specially for the restaurant headwaiter Arianit and Chef Lisa for the amazing breakfast, lunch and dinners. Arianit was an extraordinary person who is always helpful, calm and very friendly for my daughter.

Location and hotel facilities are great value for money.

If they offer you enything else which is not included in price decline as soon as possible.New year dinner was terrible,serious bad value for money.Pure robbery.That made me sad at the end cause hotel and location is great.

Gorgeous hotel with a large room, great facilities, rooftop bar, friendly staff and prime location - definitely walking distance between most things

although swimming pool and area was amazing, there were a bunch of kids (approx 14-16yrs old) running around and bombing into the pool with a complete disregard of other users. they were also playing their own music super load and could barely hear my partner talk to me who was sat right next to me. they were also smoking around the pool so it smelt and they just dropped their cigarette butts on the floor. Again, rooftop bar was gorgeous and has some amazing views - was filled with 16yr old smoking and wasn’t any room for anyone over 30.

We stayed in Black Diamond for 12 days for our visit to Tirana with our little daughter. The hotel is very clean, has friendly staff who are always helpful. We need to especially mention the headwaiter Arianit and Chef Lisa who tirelessly work to put together a great breakfast every morning and prepare delicious meals. The variety and quality of both the breakfast and the a la carte menu are very good. We had as many meals at the hotel as we did outside (even maybe more meals at the hotel) during our 12 day stay and never missed the breakfast. With a toddler, it is very convenient to have such good food at the place you stay. Thank you Arianit one more time for your friendliness, compassion and understanding with our 3-year-old 😊. It was a pleasure to meet with such a kind person as you. Transportation to and from the airport was easy, just ask the hotel to schedule a ride with hotel’s own shuttle (took about 30 minutes to the hotel and 40 minutes back to the airport). Thank you Christian for a safe ride from and to the airport. My husband had to work the whole time using internet. Hotel has great internet connection, he never had a problem with reception or speed in the room or in the bar area. Rooms are very clean, they clean them early in the day (before noon in my experience). Room and the building in general looked new. I really liked the design of the rooms. Everything is as you see in the pictures. We were on the third floor and the room was very very quiet despite looking onto the street. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is about 10 minute walking distance to the Skanderbeg Square. All the staff from the cleaners to the waiters were friendly and nice. Thank you Senada and Stella at the reception desk for helping us with everything we need. Whatever we asked for, they made it possible. All in all, we had a great stay at Black Diamond and highly recommend it.

. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL. We arrived at 05.30 and the night porter took our bags for us to store until check-in. The check-in was super, the massage we both had was sooooooo nice. The breakfast was great, the room perfect. Truly our stay was PERFECT. Everything was 10 out of 10. We are delighted we chose this hotel and are returning for a night this weekend
