The young man that worked afternoons/evenings was very nice and professional when addressing a couple of issues that arose during our stay. The shower water pressure was 10/10. Our toilet kept running, they tried to fix it 3 times, but it just was what it was. The wifi didn’t work on the 3rd floor, so they moved us to the second floor and it worked great. Wifi worked great in the lobby area. Bed was comfortable, the pillows were lumpy. The breakfast was plentiful, every day the pastries were stale. Being in South America, figured the coffee would be delightful. It was not good. A coffee shop is 1 block away. Highly recommend. We had ham & cheese sandwiches made at hotel to take on our early morning glacier tour the next day, and they were good. Easy safe parking in back. If they were to fix some maintenance issues, get new pillows, overhaul the freshness of the breakfast and switch to making great coffee, this place would be sold out every day….and they already have the best customer service in town! Also suggest offering a hot water kettle in the rooms.

Good location you can walk into the city main street or to the Laguna Nimez/ lake area, secured car parking available. Big bed and spacious rooms cu traditional design. Enjoyed the spa facilities and the massage (make a reservation in advance) . There is an option for lunch box that comes handy for excursion or hikes.

breakfast was ok. A kettle in the room will be nice - so you can prepare a tea/coffee. Spa & Gym facilities only open from 5 to 9pm, that includes the gym (with all the hiking we didn't need it, but limiting the gym to only evening is a bit odd, maybe something to reconsider for future). Wifi on 3rd floor wasn't great, had to go downstair.

Ornella at the front desk was awesome !! So very helpful and pleasant ! The hotel was wonderful, like staying in an Alpine lodge. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the whole property. The breakfast area was spacious and the food was great. And the location was excellent, close enough to the central downtown area with good shopping and great dining choices, but far enough away to be able to have a very peaceful rest at the end o the day. REALLY enjoyed our stay here.

Breakfast is absolutely exceptional, with the best muesli I’ve ever had, and I’m from the birthplace of muesli! I first stayed at this property 11 years ago and never forgot the taste. Returning now, I’m thrilled to say it’s exactly as I remembered: unmatched and unforgettable. The rooms are spacious and feel like home, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. A truly special place that exceeded expectations once again.

Bathrooms are a bit dated.

Big, comfortable and clean rooms. Parking lot available at the property. Breakfast ok despite the hotel was closing for winter break and they only had few rooms booked in the whole facility. Support from the staff was impeccable

Maybe the walls are a bit too tiny and if you have noisy neighbors might be an issue. We were unlucky in having extremely disrespectful neighbors talking extremely laud till late night despite the staff asked them several times to stop. We had to change room due to this. Not a fault of the hotel tough and they were supportive enough with the situation

Breakfast(had way better bfast here than a big hotel/popular hotel we stayed in BA. Location. (Near the main street) Big room. Massage/spa( i had the guy therapist, and he removed the tension/pain in my backpack! Staff. Amenities like pingpong.

There's a smell in the toilet, but it's a drainage problem(something they can't do about it, i think or air refreshener there?) room is dated but it is big and comfortable. So not really a problem.

Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff and they were happy to help with my requests such as changing money and getting a taxi. The location is good because it is very close to the main street but far enough away to not hear the noise. Breakfast was good with everything needed for most tastes.

I stayed twice and both times they put me in a room right next to the stairs. I should have asked for a different room - avoid rooms 101 and 201 and probably 301. A lot of the guests are visiting to go on hikes so they like taking the stairs and get up early to hiking.

We enjoyed the spacious room, and the bed was very comfortable. Our room at the back of the property was quiet and we got some much-needed sleep after arriving from a stay in Chilean Patagonia where we were up early for hikes every morning. Juan on the front desk went above and beyond when we ended up having to leave our laundry behind at a local laundromat due to our misreading their opening hours. We were going to El Chalten for a couple of days, so on our return, just to El Calafate airport, he picked it up and sent it to us at the airport in a taxi (all arranged with him over Whatsapp).

The rooms are very spacious and clean. Also the location of the hotel is great, right in the city centre. We ordered room service to our room for dinner and the dishes were very tastefull, really good kitchen.

The rooms and also breakfastroom is bit outdated, could use a renovation. Also during the breakfast there was hard rockmusic playing, felt like they would like to guests to leave the breakfastroom asap

The room was large and well designed. Staff was amazingly professional. Great location for walking to town! Restaurant food was delicious and reasonable. Also, evening access to Spa facilities a big plus.

To keep the temperature comfortable we needed to keep windows open which was wonderful except the neighborhood had lots of barking dogs and motorcycles raving all night. Not really something the hotel can control.
