Was a nice stay and the hostel grew on me the longer I was there. It is fairly large and has a slightly old school hostel feel to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they were really the most positive thing about the hostel for me. Bathrooms were fine and hot showers. Breakfast was generous. Location was very good with many restaurants and cafes close by. You could cook in their kitchen. If you fancy some exercise and save a couple of dollars you can walk to or from the bus station in about 25mins. The hostel can help book tours.

It's the same with every hostel but would be nice to have some healthy option with the breakfast.....fast becoming diabetic in south America.

Very nice hostel, well designed with plenty of space for meeting other travelers and so your own meditation. The staff were absolutely dedicated to help and share local directions. Big kitchen with nicely setup dining area. Good idea with a video camera overlooking the food shelves and fridge.

It was a bit noisy at night. Perhaps I was just not lucky with my roommates. The breakfast was plenty. However, for the 3 days that I spent there, there was no change in the menu selection. The relaxing furniture is a bit worn, including the springs. A little uplift would help. And, of course, having a towel as part of the price per night would be a great plus.

The hostel location is really good, just a couple of blocks away from downtown. I had a private room which was comfortable, a big restroom, and a daily room cleaning service (which was a big surprise). Breakfast was ok-ish. The staff were great, super polite and helpful.

There's no sound isolation. I could hear every conversation happening in other rooms, people walking, and people closing doors. The room was also very cold, I'm not sure how they work during winter because I was freezing at times now in the midst of summer.

Really nice place, good breakfast, including eggs, with the option of adding hot sauce, I arrived before check in and was able to lock my things away until the room was ready, staff really friendly and willing to help with advice and booking tours and buses, also offers slight discounts on bookings than buying direct from companies, good size kitchen for making food so your not cramped in, really nice living room, nice bathroom connected to the bedroom so not needing to go to a different part of the building, nice garden, located in town close to shops / restaurants etc, only about 20-30 mins walk to bis station, they also offer, again discounted, transfers to / from airport

The bed was the best, very confortable and stable and clearly clean and it had courtens!! There was a lot of storage space that you could safely lock (we had our locks). There was a practical shelf and lamp for each bed. And you did not need an adaptar to charge devices. Perfect! There is soap for hands in the bathrooms. The included breakfast was huge and I, as a vegan, had cereals, almond milk, fruit, bread and marmalade! I am totally happy! The kitchen was good!

You could not lock bathroom's doors. There is only one place to wash dishes (there are a lot of people).

The staff are so friendly and amazing with someone available at all hours of the day. Everything was super clean and there was a really large shared area. It was 2 blocks away from the main street and was very convenient to get to restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops, etc. The staff were also great. There's a fully equipped kitchen and a hairdryer at the front desk. They also have a partnership with a travel agency that offers a variety of tours. It was also very warm despite it being so cold outside with heated floors. There's also laundry for a fee which is also amazing.

It’s fantastic - I was in a bunk in 4 bed dorm. Curtain, my own light & phone charger, ensuite bathroom, great shower. The staff on reception are very nice, helpful. Breakfast is fantastic! Cereal, eggs , toast, piece of fruit & unlimited tea, coffee. Kitchen open 24 hours. Tour to glacier, taxis & bus can be booked at hostel. Nice garden also.

Just a small thing - room 8 it was difficult to close door of room & bathroom , opening /closing door to bathroom when others asleep very noisy. An easy job for a carpenter

The location cannot be better. It’s surrounded by restaurants and so close to the main strip. We did not stayed in a shared room we have our private room. The room is a bit small for luggage but was clean and comfortable. Keep in mind this is not a five star luxury hotel for the price we paid it is truely excellent. The staff there were 10 out of 10 they all helped us in different way, calling taxi , recommending last minute tours, etc. we actually booked a tour recommended by the front desk and we were so happy we took her recommendation. Also this location has paid self serve laundry which is very convenient. It offers free basic breakfast but the paid options are good as well. Also they offer packed lunch for the hike excursion which is very cheap compared to other options we have. We love this place ! The place is also very quiet and it’s not a party hostel everyone is very chill and respectful.

I wish there is bug net at the window that open. Not that there were any bugs but I was always worried bugs or birds will come in. Perhaps I was just silly

The room was huge, the underfloor heating was fantastic, and the breakfast decent with gluten free options. Staff were friendly and the living spaces were great. Location was perfect, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and bars. The cabin vibe in the living room space was also lovely.

There didn't appear to be an option to put a 'do not disturb' sign on the room door which would have been good to prevent the room being made up every day (wasn't necessary). Also the kitchen was often not clean and lacking basic amenities such as clean/whole tea towels, stickers to label food, and more than one sharp knife. Also instructions on how to work the stove would have been helpful.

Overall, I was very pleased with the facilities. To know that one could homeworks, having lunch or a snack outside breakfast hours, and other activities upstairs on the "living room" or in the balcony is a huge benefit.

I didn't enjoy the limited choices of the imposed breakfast, but the kitchen staff does offer paid alternatives. A curtain separating the shower room from the rest of the bathroom would be welcomed. Moreover, i did ask for my invoice (bill) on the first day and everyday because the staff kept answering to come later (the day after) for the bill, With an average of 2 people at the counter, I should have been answered quicky for that simple request.
