What a great (& affordable!) option near Aruba’s best beaches. We stayed here a week, had a wonderful time, and plan to stay here again. The location is an 8-minute drive to Eagle and Palm Beaches, or a 15-minute drive to Arashi Beach farther north (rental car essential)… Aruba is so easy to drive and navigate. And if you prefer to avoid the sand, the charming pool is a great option. Our 7-year old loved it, though most of the time we were the only ones using it. The outdoor dining area is lovely, with plenty of tables and benches, though some of the wood chairs aren’t very comfortable; others have cushions. The cafe is great, with a basic menu and plenty of caffeinated options. Service isn’t rushed so feel free to linger. Onsite parking is convenient and beach towels are provided and changed on cleaning days (not daily; and by the way the cleaning lady is just delightful). The room interiors are clean though basic. Our room (#8) had two queen beds, firm and very comfortable. There wasn’t too much sunlight - just a small kitchen window and a medium-sized window facing the pool area. We used the air conditioning only half the time as the place was naturally cool. The bathroom was modern and clean. Having a stove was essential, as it allowed us to prepare breakfast before leaving and cook dinner at the end of the day; as you probably know, food in Aruba is not cheap. And the hotel is very peaceful. There was one clueless idiot who felt it was necessary to slam some doors at 3am one night - hopefully he never comes back. Otherwise it was quiet. It was also helps to manage expectations. RH isn’t rustic but modern, basic by many standards but likely upscale by many island standards at this price. If you are looking for “luxury”, you’ll need to spend quadruple the amount (or easily more at some of the high end $$$ hotels & villas). There is also a barbecue area out back that needs to be reserved at the front desk but we didn’t use it this time around.

The kitchen had little sunlight.

We had a very nice stay at RH Boutique hotel with 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed there for one week. The room was very spacious with a living room and 2 bed rooms and all was very clean. All rooms were equipped with their own A/C unit. Parking is possible on the premises behind a gate, thus the car is parked safely. The location is perfect as it is only 5 minutes away from a big supermarket (Super Food) and only 5 minutes from Oranjestad and Eagle Beach. As we had a late flight, they provided us with a late check out, so that we could fully enjoy our last day on Aruba. The employees were very kind and very helpful. Everything was arranged very easily and quickly. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend to stay at RH Boutique Hotel.

Beautiful new property. Very clean and well maintained. Delightful restaurant with many options on site open from 8-6 weekdays and 8-2 weekends. Staff were lovely . The older lady who works in the kitchen and who was serving in the afternoon alone in the restaurant on Tues 21st May is so friendly and goes out of her way to serve well. The two young guys serving breakfast on Weds 22nd May were also brilliant. I would recommend this property if in Aruba !

People say you need a car which I can understand but we actually did tours and only used a taxi up to a maximum of twice a day which we found was similar to the cost of renting a car so didn’t find this was a problem for us. If you go alone though taxi costs may be high for you but if sharing the cost not too bad.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood minutes drive away from downtown Oranjestad, with its own cafe for breakfast and lunch, but finding food places within 10 minutes drive is equally easy. It's surprisingly easy to find parking spot around Aruba even during Christmas holiday. We also cooked in the apartment using the kitchen. There are plenty of plates/bowls and utensils for 3, though only one pot. Still, we made yummy food. Overall the apartment is exceptionally clean, well decorated, super convenient and safe, and great value for family.

Nothing. The location does require a car - this is not a beachfront resort, but the lack of noise and rowdy tourists, and very reasonable cost are more than enough reasons to enjoy this hotel. On top of that, everything is beautifully decorated, from common area to pool to rooms.

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this property is. It’s exceptionally clean and very quiet. You would think you were the only one there, that’s how quiet it was. The staff at this property are exceptional. From check in to check out. The guys who serves breakfast, Haniel Ramirez, Alfred Cedeno and David Herrerra couldn’t be better at what they do.!! We loved every minute of our stay. Thanks to everyone who made it possible!!

There’s nothing to not like at this property.

Emily and Jurstin were absolutely phenomenal!! I've never felt more comfortable and valued as a guest anywhere! The staff were friendly and always smiling. Checked upon us and helped to coordinate my friends bday party. They even recommended a car rental service that was extremely reasonable and accommodating! I'll come back just to stay here!! Also, it's 10 mins from all the best things. I was so happy that we were so close to everything.

I wish we had a way to wash our clothes.

The breakfasts were good and the staff there very friendly. Callie was very helpful and friendly. Always there for whatever you needed.

The location was a problem. I don’t like driving in Aruba since the changes. So I either had to get a taxi or have family pick me up or drop me off. The stairs were also a bit much for me.

Despite the small size of the property and a little tight on parking, this property over all is perfect. It is a home away from home. The rooms were clean and have plenty of open space so you don’t feel cramped up while being inside. The great part about the property, is the fact that you can rest assure that your vehicle is safe since the property has security on the overnight and it’s behind a lock gate. What truly sets this property to the highest level, are staff members who work the front desk. No matter what you need, they will always go above and beyond on getting it for you. With my very first communication with Emily and Dayana who work at the desk, I can’t even express how close we became great friends to where I consider both of them as my family. They always made sure that I had what I needed and shared a lot of great information about Aruba from great restaurants, beaches, site seeing and shopping. You may seem far from everything, but the truth is that you are not. The one great beach that highly highly recommend is “ Baby Beach.” It is a 30min drive from the place. It is considered to be on the East Coast. That would be the most time when driving from the hotel. Remember, the island is not that large. So you can drive from one end to another in no time. Here, you can also take some photos. First, you come up to a large ship anchor that was dedicated to the men and women. Second, just about 500ft up the road. If the animals are out, you will come up to a heard of donkeys. As you continue your way to Baby Beach, your next and last stop for a great photo would be at the “California Light House.” Keep in mind while being at the beach, if you need to use the bathroom it will cost a $1.oo. It is located by the restaurant on the far end of the beach. Whatever you need, please talk to Emily and Dayana they are just so sweet. With Emily and Dayana, it is all about FAMILY and not just a job.

Only two things I found to be a safety issue which can be fixed. First and most important is the oven. I wasn’t too keen of the fact that I would have to use a lighter in order to start it. The top I didn’t mind since that we do at home, it’s the oven part down below. Lastly, I highly recommend either installing a glass door or even just a shower curtain. I don’t know if other rooms are like this, but with just a half of glass partition being there. It doesn’t stop water getting on the floor outside of the shower. That is an accident waiting to happen if someone should slip.

It’s was quiet, and beautiful small hotel. The breakfast was always very tasty, the staff was super friendly and very helpful. They were always very kind and friendly

The only negative thing It was quite far from all the touristic area/beach But it was easy getting to those places by catching a taxi. I highly recommend renting a car to move around if you stay at the hotel

The property is absolutely serene. this is the perfect place to stay if you want to get away and truly rest and relax. The room was clean and spacious. The staff are all amazing and I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is not in a tourist area. They can call taxi’s, but it may become expensive if you want to leave the premises frequently so renting a car is definitely recommended. I also wished the coffee shop offered a couple of more food options on the menu, but the food offered is delicious
