Nicely updated. Very nice looking room, bathroom, decor. Lots of small tables made things very convenient.

Not enough power points in the room. There was only one and it was in use. There was an outlet in the bathroom though.

The location, size and cleanliness of our room was perfect for a mum and 2 young children. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was a decent size. After our first night, we were able to walk down to Echo Point and begin our bushwalk from there. The inclusion of a microwave made eating dinners on a budget very easy to do as well. Being able to connect to the wifi also meant that we could stream our favourite shows and movies on our laptop (our room happened to be one with an older TV in it).

If you're travelling with young children, it would be wise to bring power socket/outlet covers as they weren't included in the room (however this seems to be standard practice in most accommodations).

Very friendly and helpful staff, even though they were dealing with the aftermath of violent storms which had caused damage to motel. A minor maintenance problem (door lock and broken light) was rectified immediately upon advising reception. Great location, close to Echo Point, Scenic World and main street of Katoomba. Very clean. Comfortable beds, modern, fresh decor. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Separate bedroom for adults

No toaster. No crockery in room, although it was happily provided when asked. No tea towels or washing up liquid. No power point on bench for kettle. Only 3 dining chairs in a 4 person room!

Location was amazing, just a stones' throw from the three sisters. Had all the facilities one would need (however couldn't find any cutlery even though there was a microwave).

Some towels and linen were lightly stained. Rubbish bin provided was tiny and it was not emptied daily which became a problem as even the bin at the reception was full. Glassware were not cleaned very well and tufts of hair found on carpet. Very curiously the laundry facility is only open from 9-5 which is very limiting. Would've been better if they just gave tenants a passcode to enter the laundry.

Amazing location so close to The Three Sisters and across the road from a much more expensive hotel. The exterior was a bit dated (I had to double check I was at the right location) but the room interior was modern and clean. Was very quiet, despite it being nearly full, I rarely heard any noise from the other rooms. Room was also well insulated, despite it being nearly winter, had to turn the heating off most nights as it got too warm even on the lowest setting (great problem to have). Really couldn’t fault it, especially for the price.

Bathroom was a touch small, could barely turnaround but was clean and modern.

Great customer service. Very convenient location. Receptionist Chloe was very helpful and friendly. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. Very quiet street and within walking distance to the Three Sisters. The staff were amazing! Check in and check out was super easy!

A giant tent was placed outside our Unit on day 2 and so we couldn't park our car near our unit. This made it difficult to load the car when we were leaving. Not really an issue. There wasn't really anything to fault.

great location, only a few minutes walk to Echo Point for the 3 sisters, and in the opposite direction only a 10 minute walk to the RSL club and start of Katoomba town centre. 686 bus route also runs to town and echo point as well as Skyrail and there’s a stop right out the front of the motel

the carpet under the beds was filthy with bits of food from previous guests. looked like the beds hadn’t been moved at all to vacuum under the beds which we found out when we adjusted the beds for our daughters. given they’re on wheels it should be easy enough to include this when cleaning the rooms

Location location location perfect for a walk and photography around the 3 sister Echo Point and the Valley. Magnificent iconic Australian mountain landscape. The ease of access to katoomba commercial centre without being caught up in the hustle abd bustle. I am feeling renewed by my visit and stay. Thank you so much ♥️

I got exactly what I wanted from my stay so no complaints . I was a bit startled by the $1700 + for fire alarm activation. I understand the exposure and that not all visitors will be sensible and careful when visiting your motel. I just thought there may be a better way of dealing with this exposure. A case of all care but you the guest wear the responsibility if you understand what I mean. Bottom line I liked my stay very much and I would readily stay again. Thank you

Based upon the time we looked for hotels, this was one of the cheapest available stays. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who assisted us and allowed us to store our bags. The hotel is clearly still under renovation but the quality of the toom was top notch with all new fixtures and a comfy bed. Location was great as it was close to the three sisters lookout, sky world and hiking trails. Although we didn't drive, as it is a motel, you have easily accessible parking too.

The bathroom was very small, and the sliding door for it did not feel sturdy, but otherwise, it was clean and still felt like it was overall a good value for money.

Echo Point Discovery is the closest affordable accommodation to Echo Point and the Three Sisters. It is one of the lowest priced hotels in the Mountains and it is always clean, tidy and well presented. Many of the rooms have been refurbished (we stayed in two different rooms due to 18 members of our family joining us) The refurbished rooms are beautiful. I also loved the older room. Breakfast is not offered on site but at the sister property The Metropole Guest House in Gang Gang Street. This was really good value at $19 per adult for an "all you can eat" breakfast buffet. As it was a quiet morning we were treated to having our breakfasts cooked to order and bulk favourites like hash browns cooked and put in the bain marie. Echo Point Discovery is probably a twenty minute walk to the main restaurants of Katoomba. (I can't confirm this as we drove to town) A tip for parking is to go behind the main street and park in Big W's carpark.
