57Hotel is within easy walking distance from Sydney Central train station. The decor is very upmarket and modern. The room was very clean and comfortable with minimal storage facilities, eg. the open hanging space is an arc with hooks and hangers. No tea/coffee facilities in room but there is a large beverage area in the foyer of the Hotel with coffee machines and teas open 24 hrs.

A couple of cups, plates, and some cutlery would go a long way to assisting with having a snack/meal after a late arrival. A Metro Woolworths is across the road from Central station on the way to the Hotel.

Ideally located next to the train station and close to the city center (20min walking), confortable, quiet, clean and very big room. Ideal stay in Sydney

Few small things need to be update in the bathroom (rusty, damaged, or dirty) The shower is not the most practical with this weird curtain stopping at mid leg resulting in having water everywhere in the bathroom when you shower. Somehow the lady at check-in was quite rude and not very nice, barely sharing basic information about the place (floor level and stuff like this), not really professional. Hopefully the other people I had to deal with at the reception were nicer during the remaining of the stay

The location was fantastic for access to all areas of Sydney and points of interest via one form of transport or the other. An easy flat walk from Central Station and the light rail. The provision of a light breakfast down in the foyer was an added surprise. the room was very clean. The staff were always friendly and welcoming greeting us as we arrived and departed. Good access to cafes/pubs for meals and a supermarket on the corner.

The clear glass wall into the bathroom was a surprise but understandable to let light in from the external windows. I think the curtains were a bit difficult to manage as they did catch on the bathroom door as we closed it. we did manage to sort it better the more we tried.

Rooms were decent sized. But doable for Travellers who are just there to travel more and rest less. Decent facilities were provided in the room. Breakfast was a part of the accommodation, which was very good. Staff was pretty amazing and Helpful. Location wise - 10/10. It is 5 mins walking distance to Central Train Station which makes it easier to commute. Light Trails and Bus Stops are 7-8 mins walk from the Vicinity. Overall, a great stay. Will visit in future for sure.

The hotel was about 5 minutes walk from public transport, supermarkets and restaurants, which was great. Clean and comfy bed. Room was quiet

The only thing that bothered me was laundry, the hotel itself doesn’t have a laundry room, instead they take your laundry before 11 am and bring them back to you at night. But there are a few laundry places near by the hotel. Bathroom, though I liked it, it may not be a preferred choice for middle eastern families because it has a glass wall looking at the outside, a bit more than a half of it is frosted

This is my second time at this hotel. I particularly like the location close to Central (train station) and the free coffee. They also provide complimentary basic continental breakfast. While they do not have a gym, a nice one is available close by for $20.

My room was upgraded (which was nice) but right in front of the lifts - it was quite noisy, including in the middle of the night. I think there should be quiet signs, lower sound (or no sound) lift ping sounds and much better insulated doors. Bathrooms are not separated by a proper door from the room (glass door with curtains but not "sound insulated"). While it was ok this time since I travelled alone, it is worth knowing if travelling with others. I travelled in the winter and found the bathroom to be cold in the morning - the heater is the bedroom section and because heavy curtains were drawn between the bathroom and bedroom at night, it was chilly in the AM. Heating lamps and heated floors would be nice if there are any renos.

Super clean room and grateful to the staff who made accomodations to suit my request. Bed was super comfy and room was quiet. Staff also dressed up for halloween which was cute and festive. Disco elevator was surprising. Airconditioning was great. Held bags when needed and late check out option was very handy.

Breakfast was a little simple but it was complimentary so can't complain. Wish both lifts were disco lifts...? The shower is more of a wetroom style shower so it did use up the floormat dryness quickly but I'm sure we could have easily requested for more towels.

Proximity to Central Station; staff were helpful, especially the guy who helped me make tea and the guy who called us a cab. Across the street is the Keg n ... a great pub, with boutique brews but mediocre wines however it has a kitchen! Beds were comfy but short.

Our room was tiny, beds head-to-head, there was no photo on the website showing that! One opened the door and there were 2 single beds set bedhead-to-bedhead and one walked straight past those to the bathroom toilet. That was it. Great concept but thank goodness we were using it for 10 hrs sleep only! 😅 I asked where we could eat and the staff member said the Sushi train place up the road but didn't tell us about the Thai place across the road or Greek Street food pace or the Keg n .... Pub across the street which has a kitchen and stays open until 10pm on a Monday night! Important when one is checking in after 8pm and has informed your hotel.

Service was really excellent, friendly and helpful throughout, including offering free umbrellas when it began raining, and setting us up with a shuttle which was cheaper than the train. We appreciated the tea, coffee and lollies available 24/7 and the morning pastries and apples. The theming is fun too, especially the disco in the lift! The location is great, very close to Central Station trains and light rail which allows easy access to the airport and around the city. It's walking distance to interesting shops and great restaurants in Chinatown.

The trendy bathroom design is annoying. It has clear glass sliding doors and two sets of curtains. Why not just have an opaque wall to save us the hassle of closing two or three things? The curtains often didn't close all the way, which is awkward when travelling with friends! It's close to a bar which played thumping music until 5am. Part of being in the city, I guess! The windows can't be opened, and the glass is frosted. Even in the central city, it would be nice to be able to open a window sometimes.

Great location for ending a long day of travel. Close to central train station, so convenient train access to/from airport and downtown, Reasonable walking distance to main city sights (Opera House, etc.) Good restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
