Good value for money and great location close to the train station. Staff were very helpful and friendly, also was able to check in earlier.
Lack of bath towels but staff were helpful when I asked about it, apparently this is common in Sydney in the summer. Bed was also two beds pushed together.

The fact that my original room had issues was not so pleasing, But the speed that the staff relocated me to another room of equal size was brilliant. This also gave me a better view of town hall station and how it was illuminated of the night. Great photos. Due to this view the conditions outside were visible to you and dressing for condition's was made easy. I had one restless night, but the photos of town hall station and the surrounds because of it are priceless. Man thanks to the staff even on checking in or out early with the storage facility for your bags. I checked out at 8am and they held my bags for me until midday. Much appreciated.
The card greeting you telling customers to facilitate the cleaning staff to but full bin liners out the front of your door for retrieval, Not my best thoughts of such a fine establishment

Handy to the railway station and bus service. Plenty of restaurants in the area.
I requested and received an extra blanket for our second night which was subsequently removed the next morning. I then received another one and put it in the wardrobe the next day to prevent repeat actions. We put our “clean me” request card out on the Sunday, room not touched and I was told by the cleaning staff that they didn’t do rooms on a Sunday. However, staff were very helpful with any requests i.e. clean towels , renewing tea/ coffee , toilet paper etc and the Reception staff were also very friendly.

location wise its ideally located on the edge of Chinatown , with amazing food nearby and a local supermarket for groceries. trams and light rail at the door step . The room was east facing which was delightful for the morning sun and was also double glazed but i was rarely disturbed by the street noise ( not much of this BTW as Sydneysiders dont seem to be as aggressive as Melbourne drivers ) . The room was very clean and the bed huge and comfortable .
there were aluminum dividers between the balconies that had become detached from their footings which meant when the wind blew they clanged around all day and night . The room has some maintenance issues and i suggest the owners invest a little in this i.e., the shower extraction didn't work , the walls had some unsightly marks . I also mentioned a cockroach issue which needs to be addressed . ( i was greeted when getting out of the lift to the 3rd floor by an upside down dead cockroach . I had one in the room i couldn't catch and the balcony seemed to attract them at night time . My understanding is that these are not unknown issues and again the owners need to address this .

Price was great.Last minute deal so $140 for 2 with king bed.Fresh and clean.Perfect location for Vivid, food options, chemist, coffee, close to train station 300 metres.Bus stop at the door.Friendly staff and felt safe.
No door to bathroom was odd.Hinges on the door frame but no door.Bad luck if staying with someone you weren't totally comfortable with. No fridge was odd.Couldnt keep our food cool so had to eat it or bin it.No option to store milk and cool drinks. No spoons so had to eat without. Very minimal coffee and sugar. No milk provided for initial coffee on arrival. No spare blanket.Disappointing, but aware price was great.

Check-in was very smooth. The beds are as comfortable as any I have encountered. The bathroom is adequate. The shower is very good - plenty of hot water, good pressure, and I like the very wide shower head. A hair dryer is supplied, which is good. The room size is generous. We were very high up, having learned from a previous stay that the lower floors could be noisy given the windows look out on Broadway, so it was fairly quiet. The location is just about perfect.
There was only one hand towel supplied for two people and we had to request another one from the front desk. And on our second day our second hand towel disappeared with the cleaning. Teabags and coffee capsules were supplied, but not enough and we had to ask for more from front desk. We had learned from a previous trip that the capsule coffee maker is only in the deluxe rooms, not the superior rooms. Although the room was spacious, only one easy chair was provided along with the chair at the desk. There was plenty of room to add another chair and a small table in between under the window. Although the furnishings seemed a bit tired, staff advised us that an upgrade is planned.

This hotel is a short walk to Central Station to access the airport and half the price of the airport hotels. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was quite spacious, and we had no street or traffic noise for such a busy area.
Nothing. However, arriving outside of reception hours, we needed to phone a number (previously supplied) for access. You need to call once you're at the hotel entrance - not beforehand. We had a bit of a wait on the line because the information line was so busy then, but once you got to speak to someone, they were very helpful. You gain access to the lockbox to get the envelope containing your key and then they give you your room number. It was all very secure.

Location. Comfortable beds. Supermarket is not too far. Lots of options. Coin Laundry is next door. If there is a next trip, I will still pick this hotel.
Sometime the cleaning staff will forget the floor mat. But it is available at the front desk. The floor mat is important due to the shower area will overflow causing the toilet floor to be wet.

I stayed overnight while transiting through Sydney by train. The Hotel is very handy to Central station, just a 5 minute walk, which is also great for people catching the train to/from the airport. The room I had was fairly basic but neat and tidy and in relatively good condition. Blackout curtains work really well to keep the room dark. Lots of foot traffic out the front of the hotel day and night, but nothing too unpleasant. A pass key is required to enter the main hotel doors after 10pm until 6am, and there is also a 24 hour reception desk, so quite secure. For those travelling alone, the hotel will safely store your luggage for you for a few hours after check out. It's also a free service, which is a big bonus and very handy compared to storing in a locker at the railway station.

Convenient location, room size good, bed comfortable
Maintenance required - balcony door lock broken, -- door very 'heavy' to open Light over bed, left hand side not working A morning greeting from reception staff when getting out of the lift would add to the friendly and professional service The curtain at the restaurant entrance does not do much for the ambience of the foyer and makes the restaurant unappealing A very musty smell in the corridor on level 3
