The location was great, right across the road from World square, pubs and shopping. Public transport very close (a few minutes walk to both the train station and light rail). Downstairs lobby area nice with availability to grab a cheeky muffin and coffee, the staff were very helpful and really lovely as well! I'm an early riser, so really appreciated being able to pop down to grab a coffee at 5am and sit and read for a while. The bed was comfy (pillows a little soft). Great to have breakfast included as well, nice to sit on the balcony and have breakfast.

The room was quite small and I would say that some of the furniture could be too big or moved around so use could be optimised. I couldn't use the full length mirror in the very small wardrobe as the night stand blocked it. While it was a nice room, I would struggle to stay more than a few days. Unfortunately there seemed to be quite a few 'happy stains' on the walls as well. The bathroom was nice, but again on the small side so best for either solo or couple travellers. It would have been good to have a hand held shower option as I don't like rain showers only (particularly when I've just had a blow wave :) )

The location of this property was fantastic. Across the road is World Square with a Coles and various restaurants. The property is just a few minutes walk to the China Town tram stop that can transport you around the city. It is also within walking distance of Central Station. The staff were very friendly, and I was surprised to see visitors utilise the small bar area very well.

It was a little noisy in the morning with cleaners starting early.

Room was easily accessible with the lifts and provided a very good view of a portion of the city streets and buildings surrounding. Room was adequate for one person two would be OK, well suited for working from using the provided desk and chair. Bed was large and comfortable . Breakfast was incredible, well worth paying for. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Trying find a problem is hard. The coffee machine at breakfast could be upgraded to make the whole cup not just the coffee then walk to the other end of the dining room to get water, come on this is 2023!

Great location in the city. Walking distance to most pubs, clubs, attractions and venues in the city. Staff were great, and friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Had usb charging ports. Handy bar in the foyer to have a drink before going out to wherever you’re going to. Even if it’s the pub next door 😁

Only because you’ve asked, but no view from the room. Our window looked out onto a concrete wall. We weren’t there to spend time in our room though. Only one lift working at the time of our visit but not really a major inconvenience, and we were given a free drink voucher each to use at the bar to compensate. So that’s the only ‘negatives’ I can think of.

The location was fantastic for our two night stay in Sydney. The staff were all polite & friendly & professional. The room was fine for what we needed it for. It was basic, though the bathroom was clean, modern & light. The beds were very comfortable. The block out blind was great.

This was more to do with pricing - we paid nearly $2500 for two nights in a double room - even though I booked more than two months in advance - no doubt this was vastly increased pricing for this particular weekend for an artist who was in town.

I am 18 and travelled to Sydney on my own from the UK and my first stop was at this Ibis Hotel. The staff could not have been kinder or more welcoming, in particular Michelle, who was so thoughtful and welcoming! She sensed I was jetlagged, nervous and went out of her way to make me feel at ease. They helped me out of a situation that was of my own making (!) and made me feel very well looked after. It's central location was great for city access. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Nothing!

Room was quiet, size was OK, beds comfortable and in a convenient lively part of the city centre. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, though as often happens the air conditioning made the breakfast room too cool. Sydney is an expensive city so compared to other places it was good value.

Had a problem to find on arrival our booking had been cancelled that evening by the hotel due to problem with credit card (so they said) and message sent via booking.com about our very late evening arrival had not gone through. Still don't know where the fault lay. We used Museum station to get there but stairs at station were difficult and discovered the hotel is within easy walking distance of Central station which is better.

The location was fantastic. It was at the center of a lot of interesting locations. Hyde Park, Darling Square, Masonic Theatre, Paddy's Market, and more. For everything else, there is both a T line train station and L light rail stop just a block away. Staff was very helpful and accommodating to our needs

The room is very small but that wasn't too much of an issue as we spent the majority of our time out in the city. Only returning to the room to sleep or to change

The location was perfect we were able to walk to majority of the places we wanted to visit. And what we couldn't walk to was easily accessible via trams which were close to the hotel. The staff were all super friendly and willing to help with any issues we had. The air conditioning in the room was perfect for the summer heat that we had during our stay. It was nice to be able to sleep with it running and it not be too cold. The view from our room was also amazing.

Thanks for the early check in, much appreciated The location is what makes this hotel, literally a 250-metre walk to museum station Room clean, staff great, standard buffet breakfast If you're in Sydney for a few days, definitely stay here

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times in 7 weeks, and the pillows were not good. No water for a few hours overnight night, not the hotel's issue as it was emergency works but still a bit annoying. The hotel was great about it and informed me on check in
