The location and the spaciousness of the apartment

The lift lobby smelled of garbage. The smell was so overwhelming that we had to quickly get in and out of the apartment so that the smell doesn’t get trap in our apartment. We feedback to the reception, the cleaner sprayed the area but could not get rid of the smell. We literally had to hold our breath while waiting for the lift. We felt that the smell is an accumulation of garbage in all the apartments as the property does not clear garbage everyday from the apartment unless the guests make the request. Note that only one express service was included in our 6 nights of stay. The apartment was not entirely cleaned when we checked in. There were bits of food on the couch and on the floor.

Lovely two-bedroom apartment. Lots of room - seriously was heaps of living space, and main bedroom heaps of room too; great view (sadly was of Darling Harbour rather than the Harbour Bridge, but still pretty cool); two bathrooms; air conditioning, laundry; good wifi; coffee machine, and pool! No noise from any neighbours - was a fantastic place to stay! (The previous place we stayed in Sydney was above a pub with roadworks outside and almost no water pressure - so Meriton massively exceeded this very low bar). Location great being right above World Square, and easily accessible to Town or Musuem stops, and the trams. They also held our luggage for us securely when we arrived two hours early for check in, at no cost.

If I had to quibble something it would be that our rubbish was not changed /room serviced each day but rather we had to take it to the rubbish room on our floor - but only a small quibble. Plus - a $200 bond is taken at payment, I am not sure if this was mentioned on the booking but I only became aware of this when paying. Fingers crossed I get it back (I should!!)

Spacious corner suite on level 72 (equivalent to the 62nd floor since the ground level is level 10), located on the south east corner of the building, with great views, large bedrooms with comfortable beds and good quality bedding. One of the tallest residential buildings in the city and therefore enjoys unencumbered panoramic views down the harbour to the heads to the east and around towards Sydney University (Camperdown) to the south west. Good facilities including functional kitchen and large living and dining area with ample space for 6 persons.

A little stingy on provisions - basic things like soap, laundry and dishwashing detergent and coffee pods. Reception was happy to assist, so not a big deal, but it's probably better to be on the generous side with initial servicing. Also cleaning to bathrooms (grout etc) could have been better.

The frontdesk staff were exceptional, particularly Kiyan who was very thoughtful in trying to check if an early check-in was possible due to our red and tired eyes after a long flight and even called to check that everything was working in the apartment. It would be nice if there are some instruction guide on using the kitchen appliances and dryer even though we were able to operate without it but it would have been clearer with a guide. It is also understandable that there will be longer waiting times for the lifts given the number of floors. Average waiting time was 30s to 3 mins which was alright when on holiday.

One of the bathrooms had a slight pee smell but housekeeping was able to do another round of cleaning to get rid of it. The kitchen facilities were also pretty tired, some utensils were not cleaned properly and the bread toaster was dirty. It would be nice if the fridge had some deodorizer to absorb the food smells created by previous guests.

Clean and spacious. The 3 bedroom suite was perfect for a family stay. Kitchen has all the basic needed and beds were large and comfortable. Great to have a washing machine in the suite too. all round a great place to stay.

No ability to seperate recycling effectively. Room wasn’t serviced during the day. Use of a travel cot was charged but didn’t even come with a blanket or towel - I had to call guest services for this items. Tv in the room was useless and you couldn’t connect to it to stream, couldn’t connect wifi to multiple devices at the same time without different email address. Not helpful for working.

Everything was perfect!!!! Easy check in, parking, access, the views, comfy beds and pillows, space, late check out. Having a full kitchen and large living space meant the 6 of us could enjoy a meal together as well as pre show drinks

Not enough towels and amenities for 6 women. We did receive more when we called reception though which was lovely. On entry to our apartment there was a very strong bleach smell which was a little irritating to our sinuses. The apartment was immaculate, perhaps a scented aroma stick or reeds to take away the bleach smell. Internet access was a little iffy, and casting wasnt working as well as expected

It was a good size apartment, great views of the city and very handy location.

it was promoted and charged as a luxury stay but it wasn’t . The apartment was a little tired and a little dated. It was ok but certainly not luxury. The carpet seams were open in places and frayed , kitchen cupboards door were heavily marked and one was burnt. Furniture and beds were comfortable, just needed to be cheaper to reflect what it actually was and loose the term ‘luxury’. It felt mean to have only one towel per person for a three night stay with no change out, really for the price that’s not cool !

The Hotel suite was amazing, it exceeded expectations, ample room for our group. It had all the facilities we needed, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. We had cooking facilities that we used for breakfast! Shower pressure was also very nice. The view was amazing, I could not fault the room. We turned our chairs and were watching the skyline at all times of the day. They only thing we regret was booking longer.

Bathroom cupboards are a bit dated. But did not fault our stay at all. I also noticed that we had to find the soups and dish detergent for the kitchen, this should be readily available and our so we can use it right away.

When you hear the words ‘World Tower’, it invokes thoughts of luxury and that’s exactly what we found in our fabulous three bedroom apartment. Everything was exactly as expected. From the warm welcome at reception - where all the staff I spoke with for advice etc. could not have been more helpful, to the great gym and pool facilities. The views from our double aspect lounge were breathtaking. The rooms were all large and the beds were heavenly comfortable.

If I had one gripe, it was that the lifts could sometimes be very slow, although I did like the secure system of operating the lifts.

The apartment was spacious and had excellent views across Darling Harbour and out across greater Sydney.It catered for us really well as a group of 5 individuals and we enjoyed catching up in the spacious living area with nibbles and drinks that we brought along and also purchased form the shooping centre which is part of the same complex.. The kitchen was well appointed and the bedrooms were made up to our requirements of a mix of single and double beds. The beds really comfortable!

The lifts were log-jammed at peak use times such as checkout - wait times up to 10 minutes.
