The staff here are some of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever met. Special thanks to Sarah who made us smile and laugh after a 24 hour journey. The hotel is nicely done and the beds are incredibly comfortable and really clean (we’ve been travelling for 6 months now and this was by far the comfiest bed we’ve had). Location is perfect - a few mins from the metro, supermarkets nearby and easy walking distance to central Sydney. There’s also a communal kitchen with a microwave and kettle.

Some things were a little run down in places, particularly the carpet. The shower also wasn’t the best - it pointed at the wall so it was difficult to use and the cubicle was tiny. It also leaked into the rest of the bathroom so the floor got quite wet. But to be honest, for the amount you’re paying for such a well located place that’s overall really nicely done, these things don’t matter.

No 9 Springfield was beyond what we had expected. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. All our queries were answered so efficiently. The place is located right at the heart of Potts Point. An ideal spot and accessible to transportations (trains, taxis, Ubers and buses). Shops are nearby and so are food restaurants. Laundry services were also available and so was a shared kitchen. We needed to extend for an additional day and that was sorted so quickly. We were given different options for checking out which I thought was brilliant. I can’t recommend this spot enough. When and if you can, don’t hesitate to stay there. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.

None.

Thank you I wrote this review and will give 10/10 Springfield The location is unbeatable! Just a two minute walk to the metro and tons of bus routes, this hotel was a find. It's beautiful and charming and reminded me a lot of the apartments in Kensington in the UK. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I appreciated that this place had a washer and dryer that they let you use for free as well as a kitchen. The towels and sheets were clean and the rooms were nice. I saw a lot of complaints about the shower drainage in the reviews but they really weren't bad in my opinion. I'll stay here every time I visit Sydney.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in Sydney, with a few areas for improvement. The overall ambiance was welcoming, and the rooms were clean and well-kept. The highlight was the incredibly comfortable beds, which ensured a good night's rest. However, the bathroom was quite small and felt a bit cramped, though it was functional and clean. The biggest drawback was the lack of soundproofing. It was easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which could be disruptive at times. While the hotel delivers on comfort and cleanliness, addressing the noise issues would make it an even better experience.

Close to subway to get into the city and to Sydney Harbour easily. Local market right across the street for fresh food until 9 p.m. & pharmacy as well if needed. Breakfast was limited and not included, but cost was reasonable & food and cappucinos were delicious. There was a kettle, dish washer, small fridge, coffee maker & a hodge podge of cups & cutlery available in the lower level for the use of guests, if you bought fresh food at the local market & wanted to eat in the foyer area rather than eat out.

There appeared to be a couple of washing machines for guest use but one was not working when we were there. It would have been difficult if more than one guest needed to wash clothes.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, then left for a day, and returned for another stay. The experience was fantastic, largely thanks to Emma at the front desk. She was incredibly kind and helpful, recommending great restaurants, advising us on areas to avoid, and suggesting the perfect beach to visit. Additionally, she made our trip to the Blue Mountains so much easier by allowing us to leave our luggage at the hotel during our day away. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, making it easy to explore the area. While our first room was a bit small and the view wasn’t the best, the exceptional service more than made up for it. Employees like Emma are the reason we’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town. Thank you, Emma, for all your help and great recommendations – you made our stay truly memorable!

First room was a bit too small, and the view wasn’t the best.

This is a lovely boutique style hotel in pleasant Potts Point Sydney, very close to the Kings Cross train station (3 mins walk) and two supermarkets 5 mins walk. Lots of lovely cafes in the area serving brilliant coffee, I recommend Pina Cafe, Barrel One, Gypsy Espresso. The hotel is older with dated carpets but the service is brilliant, staff very friendly and helpful, and there is a laundry room and a communal kitchen facility which is excellent. Sydney CBD/Opera House/Circular Quay is about a 30 min walk through Potts Point, Woolloomooloo and the beautiful Botanic Gardens, walking right past the Art Gallery of New South Wales and Artspace if you are into art. Train from Kings Cross to the city centre is one, two or three stops depending on where you want to go, trains seemed to go every 10 mins even on weekends, and you can tap your phone to travel, you don't need the Opal card.

Squeaky floorboards - I was on the top floor so I was conscious of annoying the people below me at times.

Great value and location. Its a nice little hotel with a great breakfast place by the entrance. We were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to see, although the distances we walked might not be for everyone.

All the buildings are a bit small in the location, so having a smaller room wasn't a surprise, but the bathroom was small enough that it does require some ingenuity to be able to use and the water temperature in the shower seems to fluctuate. They do have laundry facilities, but the washer was broke so we weren't able to use it.

The staff were super friendly and accomodating. I called on the day of the booking to see if we could check in early, or leave our bags there before check in time. The receptionist was apologetic that we weren’t able to check in early due to cleaning, but ensured we could leave our luggage. When we arrived the same receptionist was super friendly and helped us get our bags in their seperate luggage room, and as we were leaving she followed us out to say a room just became available. The room was comfortable for the night and clean in a location close to whatever you may need, I.e. restaurants, groceries, transport.

The beds were very soft, and would have been better if the wheels would lock so they wouldn’t move when getting into it.

The location is strategic, just a 5-minute walk to Kings Cross train station. It's one station away from Martin Place (city area) and two stations away from Bondi Junction, where you can travel to Bondi Beach. It's also a 20-minute walk to the NSW Art Gallery and a 30-minute walk to the Opera House. The room and bathroom were clean, and the building's interior and exterior have a historical look and are well maintained.

The soundproofing wasn't very good; I could hear people stomping above, noises from neighbors, and birds cooing at night. I didn't like the carpet's color; it looked old. The quality of the provided shampoo wasn't very good either.
