Staff on the ground and around were lovely and obliging when asked for help. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable and everything worked great. Parking was easy and within same building.

Check in staff. No smiles. Didn’t feel friendly or approachable when checking in. Even reproached me rudely for being sent to him as the first check in had troubles. When checking out a lady named Agostine saw me standing waiting didnt acknowledge me, but instantly helped a gentleman who turned up well after me. Eventually serviced my check out, no smiles back, no politeness. Barely a word. Check in staff need courteous customer service training or find less customer facing positions. I’ve stayed at many hotel and this was miserable, almost comical. I was all smiles and politeness. Counter wasn’t even busy so it can’t be stress.. ?

The room is comfortable, and the A/C system is working well. We stayed for five nights, and the plane noise did not bother us at all; we heard more noise from the next room than from the planes. It is a five-minute walk to the bus stop and a fifteen-minute walk to Mascot train station. It is a lot cheaper to get off at Mascot station and then catch an Uber or bus rather than at the domestic airport. The grilled chicken, salmon, and steak from the restaurant downstairs were delicious and reasonably priced.

The room could be cleaner; the skirting board was dusty, and the TV frame had a spiderweb. We also found children's swimwear behind the curtain. On our last day, we came down in the lift. Once we reached the ground floor, there was an "out of order" sign outside; I had to move the sign, but thankfully there was no issue with the lift itself. There was no coffee machine in the room.

The room was spacious and had a view of the airport, however there was no airport or road noise. Plenty of parking spaces available. Reception staff were very pleasant. Room had a mini bar, plus there were bar and restaurant facilities on the ground floor. The bathroom had a large tub to relax in and plenty of hot water. The bed was large, cozy and warm, offering a great sleep.

Being 5 star I was hoping for someone to assist with luggage at the front door while I parked the car. Laying in the bath, there was a considerable amount of mould under the glass screen, which would only be visible from this position, so difficult for cleaners to see. But it gave me the ‘icks’.

I felt that the reception staff could have explained in more detail about how to get to the Mascot Train Station. We were travelling with 2 small children so more information would have been appreciated. Getting a taxi from the airport was infuriating. The first taxi we were directed to, advised that the middle seat belt in the taxi was not working properly, however, if we were ok with it, he would take us. We all got into the taxi with the luggage, then the driver asked us where we were going. When I told him the name of the motel, he said that he could not take us. It was blatantly obvious he changed his mind as it was a short trip. When we got out, and I told the man patrolling the Taxi Rank I was furious. The man patrolling the rank asked me if the driver changed his mind after I told him where we were going. I said "YES" though the driver denied it. Disgusting! I am of the belief that a driver can not refuse a fare because it is only a short distance. I hope the driver was reported. The man patrolling the Taxi Rank was very angry with the driver as well. All in all, I wish we had chosen accommodation closer to Sydney. Bus then train with 2 small children was a real hassle, especially after the taxi issue on arrival.

I I asked the reception desk lady if we could have another 2 towels as there were 4 of us in the room. She said that they would get 2 to our room, but if towels were not available, she would ring us. The towels did not arrive and we did not get the phone call from her.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. So much so, that when I laid down in the afternoon, I couldn't stay awake! The bathroom was lovely. The check in and check out process was very smooth. The waitress in the restaurant was lovely. She even asked if we were ready for the main meals, which, the night before elsewhere, we had only just received our entrees when the main meal arrived.

The receptionist was polite but not friendly. however, she may have been very tired. The man who sat us in the restaurant was not that communicative as we arrived early for a dinner booking and asked if we should have a drink in the bar, so he sat us near the bar at a table, which was basically where we ate dinner. He could have told us that it was fine to sit at a table and we could have got drinks there. We also weren't told that it was happy hour. However, in the scheme of things, these are very small concerns and it was still a lovely meal. The food was excellent.

Comfy bed and close to airport.

Bathroom was dated. Did not enjoy showering with mould on tiles throughout the shower including around the shower screen. Mould also on the outside area around bathtub. Also very difficult for older persons when climbing into the bathtub/shower combo. Rail at end of shower was very loose and unstable so therefore had to use the wall for support getting into and out of the bathrub/shower. Did not enjoy the breakfast. Bacon was cold, scrambled eggs were lumpy and still runny (not sure what the lumpy bits were) - could not eat.. Pastries were good. Paid $54.00 for 2 people to eat pastries and rockmelon.

Room is very clean and spacious. Good location and easy to transport to airport. Parking is easy and reasonable price with multiple entries allowed. Haven’t got chance to try the restaurant but will do next time.

The room we stayed was actually an interlinked with another room. The first day we didn’t hear any noise as it didn’t have any guests but second day there were noise we could hear and understand from conversation, especially in early morning as they requested for wake up call and the serviceman had to come several times to get them. Don’t know why receptionist assigned for us that kind of room at the beginning. We would request a different room next time if we go there again.

The reason why we have booked at the Stamford Plaza Hotel, is that it is only a easy 11 minute walk from Terminal 2 & 3 (Domestic). On our arrival at Sydney Airport, we took Bus 350 at Terminal 3 for $2 as we didn't know exactly where the hotel was. The first bus stop is opposite the hotel. We walked back to the Airport the following day. There is a shuttle service as well for $12 per person especially if you have to go to the International Terminal which is further away. We had a clean, spacious beautiful room and bathroom and the bed & pillows were so comfy. We have enjoyed the swimming pool. There is also a fully equipped gym. We will definitely stay here again.

Large comfy rooms and very clean and so convenient for the airport. There is no longer a free shuttle service and frankly at $24 for a couple I'd pay a bit extra in future to stay at the Rydges at the international terminal and dodge all the hassle with meeting shuttles for transport. The late night Taxi to the hotel cost $40AUD even though its only a few kilometres.

Nothing to not like about the place - I've stayed here quite a few times over the years and its fine. There are now more convenient airport hotels for the price though. On a tight schedule I'd probably opt for those in future.

Arrived at International airport - just before 10 pm. Tried for an hour to phone the hotel with no one answering the phone! They have a shuttle service advertised - we were unable to find a shuttle that would take us there. Eventually had to rent a taxi and were ripped off $50 for a short ride. When we reported this to reception no explanation given for not answering our call. All the other hotels nearby had shuttles arriving and loading passengers none of which would go to the Stamford.
