After flying into Sydney following 2 weeks away I wanted to see a play at Surry Hills so booked into the Travelodge at the Airport. It was so convenient to get to after picking up my car from the long term parking. I caught the train to Central to see the play, which was also very convenient and a short walk from the hotel to Mascot train station.

Someone (presumably housekeeping) knocked on the door to my room at 8.30am on Sunday when I was in the shower, which was annoying.

Everything except the shuttle bus

The shuttle bus dropped my disabled mother who is 91 and my sister at Jetstar terminal instead of Qantas terminal, the driver said this was the right terminal so they disembarked. They had to walk a long way which was disappointing as there was no transport available to take them to the right place. They are not use to travelling. I specifically booked the hotel because there was a shuttle. So I was very sad to know it didn’t work.

Would highly recommend. Very clean, modern enough, good facilities, friendly and very helpful staff, in-house bar, in-house restaurant and attached cafe. Shuttle bus to airport was easy and efficient. Also only 20 minute walk from the domestic airport. Only 13 minute walk to the main train station which will take you straight to the city centre (only about 25-30 minutes) Around the train station there are also a few cafes and a Woolworths supermarket.

Literally the only issue was there was construction occurring above the attached carpark right next to the hotel and I was staying in a room on the same side as the construction site, a little bit noisy, but really not too bad.

The hotel was excellent—clean and easy to navigate. Its location is particularly convenient if you have a layover flight the next day, as it is close to the airport, alleviating any concerns about being late. The rooms were well-appointed and stocked with all the basic necessities. The highlight of my stay was the friendly and professional staff, who handled even difficult situations with grace. I especially want to thank Anna and Natalia for their outstanding customer service. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was good, but organizing the shuttle to and from the airport was a bit confusing since it was my first time. Thankfully, the hotel staff answered my questions and reassured me about the process. The shuttle pricing was $10 per person, so I can't complain about that. However, I think the Wilson's space shuttle could improve by providing clearer information.

I was SO impressed by my stay here. I travelled for business and chose this hotel based on its proximity to the airport and my Sydney office. The shuttle was easy and quick, check-in was quick and painless, the room was clean and well-maintained, the bed was comfortable, the staff were exceptional across the board, and I took the risk on a steak from the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to find it was exceptionally good. There was even an iron and ironing board in the room, which came in handy for refreshing my outfit for an industry event post-suitcase. Obviously the location and the view aren't anything special (my room looked into a parking garage) but I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I'm in Sydney for work.

The only thing I could fault was that the toilet roll holder was in the worst spot humanely imaginable.

Pleasant, reasonably modern hotel near the airport. Walking distance from the domestic terminal (although not the nicest walk, across and along many busy roads). Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our late arrival. Plenty of parking in the carpark nearby, and the discounted rate ($30 /day) was decent.

Room was showing its age a little, with scuffs on the walls, etc. Despite this all of the amenities were functional (and air conditioning too!). A little expensive for the size of the room and facilities available, although we did book very last minute.

The greeting was warm, the room although compact was comfortable, really clean and quiet. We were lucky enough to be on the 5th floor facing the airport so had planes zooming past the window and an awesome view. Husband used the shuttle to the airport which was quick and easy and $10. I walked the 8 mins around the corner and shopped and ate at mascot and caught the train to Circular Quay. The car park attached has plenty of parking and reasonable rates. Late checkout and it was just what I needed for a 3 night stay. Will definitely stay again.

Was only there for 8 hours after bad weather delayed my flight and I missed my connection. Point to watch not involving the hotel, the driver I was allocated at the airport rank ripped me off charging $60 for the ride! Outside the hotel when I asked for a receipt for insurance purposes he said OK went back to the cab (I assumed he was going for the receipt) but he drove off drove off!

All was good during my short stay. The $10 shuttle to the airport was much better value!

The hotel was excellent. Our decision to stay at the hotel was a shuttle service available next door. However the staff from the shuttle service were plan rude they wouldn't answer a simple question I was asking about the time of the shuttle service to the International terminal until I had to finally tap him on the arm. Then, when he arrived at the terminal, he made sure we were dropped off at the farthest point possible. This was not a reflection on the Travelodge as the stay was excellent but not a good advertisement for our decision to stay at the Travelodge.

The food was great. The bed was comfortable and room adequate.

The checkin process was quick and easy. The staff were helpful and accommodating and allowed me an early check-in (11 am) and a late check-out (12 pm) due to room availability. Moreover, the check-out time was at 11 am rather than 10 am at another hotel nearby (Citedines) which I stayed at the night before. This early check-in and late check-out was fantastic as I was both tired and jetlagged. The room appeared to have been refurbished fairly recently and was in good condition. There is a shuttle service (just $10) every 15 minutes which was great for getting back to the airport.

The only slight drawback if one is walking to Travelodge (King St) is that is down a side-road off the main road (O'Riordan St) along which most of the other hotels in Mascot are located. However, this is hardly an inconvenience and a small price to pay.
