We absolutely loved the hotel and our overall experience! The rooms were lovely and cosy, and the air conditioning was a great touch, as were the provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. We also really enjoyed the reception area—it was such a nice space to relax in the evenings after dinner and again in the mornings. It provided a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere and some extra room to unwind. A special mention to Matt Vargo (I hope I got his name right)—he was absolutely fantastic! His friendly manner and excellent customer service truly stood out and added to our wonderful stay. Thank you for a great experience!
The only constructive feedback was that when my partner and I left our room around 12 pm on the middle day of the stay, we put the "Please service our room" label on the door. However, when we returned in the afternoon, the room hadn’t been serviced, and we didn’t receive fresh sheets or towels. If it was a timing issue, it might be helpful to let guests know during check-in what the latest time is for housekeeping. (Potentially we missed it if it was in writing). I only mention this because we had folded our towels neatly for the cleaners, but when we returned, they were still there and wet so no dry towels for showers after. Besides that minor detail I can not recommend this place enough - the staff, the hotel, the location... highly recommended!

Location and value were great. Close to shops, good food options and local beaches. A cosy, modern space with a comfy bed and amenities just enough for solos or couples. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy via the electronic kiosk. Overall, a great stay - would stay again and recommend to friends!
It would be handy if during electronic check-in there was an option for searching via booking reference. I had a bit of trouble with searching via name (which was the only option). We also opted for a late check-out but were locked out upon returning to our room after 11am. These two issues were easily fixed by the helpful staff members at the front desk. For some reason our shower head was a bit finicky and stuck on the misting option. It would also be handy if there was another small bin near the fridge/desk area rather than just in the bathroom.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It looked very modern and was great value for money, especially considering some of the older hotels in town which charge twice as much for rooms that might once have been luxurious, but are now run down and not worth the price. It had the expected amenities and full size toiletries which smelled really nice. I liked the open wardrobe concept, as I tend to forget clothes when locked away in a closed closet, and it did save space as well. The location was perfect, close to everything. The main thing that influenced my rating was the staff, who were always available, energetic and keen to assist. The room size is fine for a solo traveller, I'm not sure I would recommend it for a couple for more than a few nights due to the room size, or if you are on the larger side, since the shower cubicle was quite small.
The aircon was quite loud, but OK once I worked out how to set the operation to blow continuous air instead of starting up automatically. Unfortunately placed lamps over the bed means you have to be careful while sitting up so you don't bang your head on them. There was some loud live music in the restaurant on Friday night, but it ended at a reasonable time (9.30pm). I do think the hotel is geared more towards a younger demographic, it seeming like a place for people to stay after a night out in town, which was no problem for me as this is what I was there to do, but others might not enjoy the city and partying noise. I would point out you'd experience this with any centrally located hotel in any city, so it is a trade-off you make and I don't think it would be fair to complain about it.

Very central location with less than 2-5 minutes walking distances to the mall, restaurants, pubs and clubs. 10minute walk to the beach, light house and train station. Facility is clean and tidy. Great lobby downstairs to relax and enjoy thru the day, and a "Live" entertainment on Friday & Saturday nights with great vibes. Well stocked bar, and beer on tap is excellent. Great service from the Team at reception, and happy to provide recommendations of places to visit and things to do. Wood fire pizza oven is a great feature and it warms up the lobby nicely when it is very cold outside. Bathroom facility is very clean and the shower is nice and hot with good pressure. Bed is very comfortable and relaxing. Room size is adequate for my stay. Late check out at 11am is excellent. Overall the hotel location is great and very convenient in the CBD. Thank you for having me stay. Will return again.
Only two things to suggest and that is to please consider upgrading the airconditioner as it is very loud and making clunky noise as if it is about to fall off the wall. Please also look at double glazing and maybe add seals to the window because the draft makes the room cold, and the noise from the street below thru the night makes it hard to sleep and i'm usually a deep sleeper. ( i had the street facing room on level #4. Nice to have if not for the street noises).

Very cute and cosy, fantastic location and super easy check in/ out. It was my second stay and I was equally happy with everything. Walking distance from sports, food, shopping centre and beach so you save a whole heap on transport.
I know it's not the hotel's fault, but the fire evacuation 6am on August 18th was a bit shambles. The exit signs were difficult to understand (all leading out to a garden but no direction to meeting point). And the second elevator being out of service while most stair doors couldn't be opened from the outside. Left guests waiting to return to rooms for an hour+.

The location is the best asset of this hotel. Also easy online check-in and check-out. The king room is slightly bigger than the others and has a mini fridge and tea/ coffee facilities. The bathroom has a longer bench around the basin for toiletries etc..
Still no storage in room or bathroom so nowhere to keep clothes that are not hanging on the open grid wardrobe. An armchair would be better than the stool provided. Noisy doorbell ring from lifts every time the doors open, that can be heard from inside the room. TV has only basic channels.

I was worried about the other reviews but surprisingly it wasn't that bad at all. My review is for the King room. Very clean with newly renovated bathroom, great views and location. Yes air con was a bit loud but I slept okay. Great TV and nice sized, comfortable bed. I will stay again.
Just for feedback. Would prefer better chair for desk, something with a back for us oldies not a stool. Maybe better signage for where to park when checking in. Screens on windows so can open during the night. Maybe two coffee cups.

I really love the staff- they were accommodating, very friendly and respectful. The breakfast was awesome (Eggs Benny and sausage muffins). The room is not at all bad, actually it was good, but perhaps I expected much more given the cost.
I don't think I should classify this as something I disliked. It's just that I still wonder why the staff assigned did not make my room on the last day, and just left the fresh set of towels on my bed. Hhmm... In the other hotels I've been to, it seems that the hotel cleaning my room on the last day is something I did not need to ask.

Beautiful central location. Great free street parking (weekends & public holidays). Lots of food options nearby. Clean room and have all basic needs. Comfortable king bed.
Very minor things: 1. Body lotions ran out (for a 1N stay). We didn't bother asking for a refill, because it was only 1N stay and I had my own lotion. 2. Noisy air-conditioner. My son kept asking "what noise is it, mumma?", but to be honest, I don't mind as it's a perfect masking noise for the busy traffic outside 😆 3. The restaurant wasn't open during our stay. All these don't affect our enjoyment of our short holiday and would gladly come back.

Love the stay, very good first impressions. The design and layout is very warm. I checked in late and the gentlemen cleaning and who had helped me was really good and pleasant. The small things goo a long way. The bed was amazing. Really comfortable. I love the thought into the design and shampoo conditioner and body wash which unique to Hotel TOTTO. I actually wanted to purchase them for myself but I wasn’t sure where to buy them. I checked quickly and forgot. Thank you for the amazing stay. Will definitely stay again if I can!
Nothing I didn’t dislike.. the only thing was the bathroom tap water temp was the opposite to what the tap has labelled. The sink drain cover didn’t really work and it clogged up the water so I ended up sitting it side ways so the water would drain properly.
