Excellent location and the Sage Suite was a great sized room with enormous balcony. Bed was comfortable and the coffee machine was a nice addition, also loved the body wash. Friendly staff and overall great cleanliness!
Air Con was very loud and had to constantly turn it off/on during the night so we did not have a great sleep. Car park fee a little excessive, should be included.

Close proximity to WEC. Comfortable beds, and lovely staff.
Bathrooms still really need mould issues addressed. This has been a problem for many years in the 5 times I have stayed at this property. Unfortunately I feel that Sage needs to contact the organisers of Southern Stars to request that schools don’t use the hotel as a meeting place. The crowds out the front of the doors, and cars parking in the driveway made it difficult and unsafe for us paying guests to enter and exit the hotel at times.

The bed was excellent and I slept really well. The location is good with some lovely walks straight out of the door. The room was very pleasant and spacious. I would have liked a different view but it was pleasant enough. The room was clean and well presented overall.
I was disappointed that parking was an additional cost, and while I was able to get more from reception, the supplies of tea and milk were limited when I first accessed the room. I would have appreciated some hand cream in the bathroom. The food and beverage options in the restaurant did not have much of a vegetarian selection and there was only one zero alcohol option, a beer, which was good. Perhaps consider getting some Minchinbury zero alcohol sparkling wine or something similar. I haven't yet found a good red wine option in the zero alcohol range.

Excellent for what it is at this price point. Booked the Executive Double Suite with two queen beds, balcony and view of the stadium and ocean. Extremely spacious to the point of being excessive, both in the room and the bathroom. The best part were the staff. Always friendly and smiling, interacted with the kids. And desk is manned 24hrs. Great little help-yourself-fridge with snack in the lobby in case you're peckish in the middle of the night. Conveniently location close the stadium, beach and McDonald's and the centre of town.
No digital TV, but I guess that's still the case with most hotels. Breakfast and food at the restaurant a bit pricey.

Loved the hotel location, the views from our room but most of all the extra friendly staff.! Absolutely everyone was cheerful and helpful and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The bathroom cleanliness could be improved but it was fine as I also got told you are in the middle of renovations. The fact that I only found out at check out and didn’t hear a noise speaks par amounts of how you are managing that side of things. Being next to the beach to surf straight to and from our room was a total luxury. The room service was amazing and the food (bbq octopus and vegan chocolate cake x3!) was delicious! I will def recommend this hotel to both colleagues and clients that travel through Wollongong :). Keep up the good work!

The room was good and the bed was comfortable. Having the second space we could use when the baby went to bed was great.
Check in was stressful. It took too long with my toddler who started acting up. The eftpos machine was problematic and wouldn’t accept my card, my keys had to be coded twice. The online menu needs to be updated. I ordered wine that is no longer stocked and then it was a drama with a refund. I didn’t love the house wine, but the staff did offer multiple discounts to make up for it. The room cleanliness could improve. There was a pair of socks under the desk in the room that weren’t ours and the shower wasn’t as clean as you would expect with mould visible in the grout.

The shower pressure was absolutely amazing! The staff were exceptional and approachable, I arrived late at night and had an unplanned unexpected stay due to some issues and they made me feel so much better and safe! The food is great and very well priced, the room was also large with an ocean view and coffee machine, and the hotel was within walking distance to absolutely everything. I really loved my solo stay here! It was a little respite!
The bed could have been firmer, and the pillows a bit firmer too - that is my preference tho - some other people may like them?

Easy check-in and good communications with the property throughout our stay. Appreciated the covered area to unpack and repack our car on a very rainy week. Also appreciated the freezer section of the fridge (I carry esky ice blocks for medication). Verandah allowed fresh air, a place to sit and chat, and views south. Fabulously comfortable beds and pillows!! Good bathroom with plenty of bench space and hot, strong shower. Plenty of wardrobe space. Thanks for a lovely stay - wish we’d had longer!
The shower door leaked on the hinged side which made for a wet floor and bath mat. The towel railings over the toilet were not to my preference. We used those rails to make the toilet paper easier to reach. More rails to hang towels over the bath area would be good.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Really comfy beds, great location being near a lot of shops, wonderful view, quiet and good working aircon, nice big bathrooms and spacious rooms (with cupboards and drawers). We’re very sad to leave. This is a great place to stay but maybe for only a weekend getaway (see cons below).
Having at least a microwave would’ve been good instead of having to go out and buy food each night but this wouldn’t stop us from staying again. A helpful tip for your stay- We’re netflix people so we were a little bummed to see that that wasn’t an option (but it rarely is in hotels so that’s fine) but we just got a laptop and a HDMI cord and we were all set.

The highlight of the stay was definitely the staff. They were friendly, professional and went the extra mile to be helpful and understanding. I would like to single out Brodie from reception, he has a can I help you attitude, with a genuine smile that put him in the top class in my book. The room service was fast and efficient. The meals delicious, I would recommend the small plates with a bottle of your favourite wine. Special mention for the caramel pork pieces. Yum. The location is also spectacular and eating your feast of small plates, sipping your favourite drink with a view like this, so relaxing.. The room was spacious with a balcony and a bathtub. So a good place to relax and unwind.
Unfortunately, two things took some gloss of the stay. The king bed was not able to be zipped together, which found me on the milk crate like bed base. I didn't give feedback at the venue, so my problem, really. Second, I'm not sure if they are being environmentally friendly, but something stronger needs to be employed to kill the bathroom mould
