Vary large and clean with great sea views and nice share front lawn.

Lack of basic cooking essentials for the size and price, e.g. pepper, salt, oil, etc. Private pool hadn’t been properly cleaned before we arrived (or during) No BBQ.

HUGE 4 bedroom penthouse apartment. Very convenient having an ensuite for each room! Fantastic balcony area with wonderful view.

The private pool was more of a lap pool at the side, but still awesome to have

It was very beautiful we had the pool and ocean view. Just the breakfast area is a little bit small. But it was a amazing stay. And the Indonesian food was amazing!! And the homemade sambal can’t wait to come back

Spacious clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. Balcony area spacious also with stunning views All restaurants, cleaning staff and reception staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were a nice temperature

Musty smell from the rooms. Only entry to pool was through restaurant bad design. Breakfast buffet was very average could do with improvement. Should have included a coffee machine pretty standard in most places. Instead of having to pay extra for a decent coffee. Some better variety of fruit also needed. The pool was very nice but you could see it needed some maintenance work done.

Had an absolute wonderful time staying at the Mirage. The view from the room was excellent, the beds were super comfy, the rooms & full apartment was super spacious. Was super close to the main strip of town which was great! Everything we needed was already in the apartment which was great. The staff were helpful and wonderful + friendly! I must say, the complimentary buffet breakfast that came with the room was amazing! I would highly recommend staying at the Mirage for your next holiday at Airlie Beach!

I loved everything about the property, but I just wanted to mention that the toilet seat in the master bedroom was loose and kept moving while using & the water pressure was quite low. I’m not sure if this is in all rooms and is to keep everything eco friendly but I thought I would mention it.

The view from our room was exceptional (Room 101) .. better sunset view than some of the restaurants at Coral Bay Marina! Although the breakfast was more or less the same every day, it was good having it included. The pools and gardens were lovely. The complimentary shuttle bus was appreciated, and if the three available times didn't suit, it wasn't too far to walk for the bus to Airlie Beach (50 cents each). I enjoyed the tranquility of the resort, and didn't feel the need to travel to Airlie for dinner as the apartment was so huge and comfortable. The local shops are an easy 10-15 minute walk where you'll find Coles and a BWS! The boardwalk is in front of the resort which takes you to Coral Bay Marina and Airlie Beach - though it could be a bit hot to walk depending on the time of year.

There wasn't much not to like. More 'continental' options for breakfast would have been good, eg some nice cheeses, berries (though possibly too expensive to justify). Soft lighting in the apartment or dimmers would have been good but I'm nitpicking! The balcony glass needed a good clean. Didn't like the fact it was plastic glasses in the only restaurant in the resort due to the pool being next to it, therefore I didn't eat there as can't stand plastic wine glasses! More shuttle bus times would have been great. Our shower flooded the floor area quite a bit.

The generous space of the unit and the full kitchen facilities were appreciated, but what we expected for the price. The on-site restuarant and complimentary breakfast were very helpful. I really liked the two different style of pools, with the horizon poll offering a secluded peaceful space. The free shuttle service three times a day to Airlie CBD and back was so helpful, as were the friendly staff. In fact all the staff were really good at genuine service.

All the exterior lifts were out of action, which made it difficult for me to get around the terraced hillside as I suffer from chronic foot pain. The unit was tired and needs a refresh. This was evident in the stained and sagging chaise lounge, the old rug in the loungeroom, and the stained bedroom carpet. The tile grout in the bathroom was showing signs of mould too. I would not recommend this unit to an older or weak person, because getting the sliding doors open onto the verandah took a lot of pushing to get open. The filter basket on the dishwasher was really gross and even though the maintenance team were great in fixing it as soon as we told them, it shouldn't have gotten to this stage.

Accommodation was spacious, and luxurious with incredible views. Bed was very comfy. Great new TV with in-house movies. Amazing bath. Good to have a laundry and full size kitchen with a dishwasher. A shuttle bus service into town helpful on one occasion. Coffee in the Whispers gin bar was exceptional. We would consider purchasing a property here.

Couch was dirty and a little uncomfortable. The property was without a lift and was up two flights of stairs. Was a little removed from Airlie Beach. ( we didn’t mind a daily 40minute walk on board walk into town) a transfer from the ferry terminal would be helpful. Pools were too cold to swim in. Breakfast was just okay. Eggs undercooked . Buffet breakfast hard to keep fresh. Dinner one evening was very average.

I would say everything was perfect apart from a small flaw. The staff was generally very helpful but st the end of our stay a member of the staff was not very 'empathetic' (we had huge cockroaches coming from the shower. In informing them, their answer was 'ok, we will let them know'). Given the type of accommodation, I would expect a better interaction

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, so much more room than I imagined. The bed was comfy and everything about the apartment was perfect, I couldn’t fault it.

The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the buffet that was included. I expected so much more especially with the price I paid for the apartment, $450 for a 1 bedroom per night. They only had 1 milk to choose from, no plant milks at all so I couldn’t have cereal and when I asked about it the staff told me I could buy a soy coffee or tea at the bar which I had to pay for. That’s not good enough especially when so many people don’t drink cows milk.
