Nice and clean, perfect for what I needed. Love the pools

When I looked out my window to view the stunning view of pool I unfortunately saw a couple having sexual relations through the window as their sliding doors were open. As there were kids and family’s at this hotel, I would recommend letting couples and or singles know to shut their blinds while involved in sexual intercourse. Other then that the hotel was wonderful ☺️

Very comfortable stay. Value for money, everyday housekeeping staffs cleaned our room thanks for that. Beautiful pool setup with palm trees.Highly recommend place to stay in Cairns..

Reception staff ( Short hair Lady) was very rude. When we first entered she started like what you want- really is this the way to treat customers . After i said i have booked for 3 days stay she was acting like she is paying for my stay. She responded very rudely for my questions and went to smoke. Next day she did same to other customer i guess even he would have felt the same way. Please educate her or change her she is spoiling your reputation. Not fit for receptionist job. Other then that our stay was good.

The pool area really is stunning. It is calming to spend moments there. Although the hotel is out of the city, it’s a 10mins drive to the central station for Kuranda or Spirit of Queensland etc, 15mins to the town. Rooms are basic and simple but clean, and fresh towels are provided daily and the beds made up. The beds are amazing, the huge size and the comfort cannot be beat. It is perhaps not a hotel to spend hours in, as there is no bar or restaurant, yet saying that, reading a book by the pool or on the small balcony overlooking the luscious green plants and palm trees surrounding the pool, is also beautiful. It’s a place to stay and enjoy after being away during the day on either a snorkel trips or visiting the rainforest etc. This is reflected in the price though. It is a clean and decent hotel to enjoy the night and have a relaxing swim. Parking is ample around the hotel, the small shopping mall has a huge grocery shop which is convenient when you’re going on trips. Staff are friendly and attentive and help where they can. We would come again!

Perhaps the cups could be larger for making tea/coffee in the room. And perhaps adding hair conditioner to the accessories in the bathroom would be great, especially as you have a swimming pool on site.

The hotel was nice and clean, pools are both great! The staff are very helpful and kind and did everything they could for us whilst there. Parking is not an issue even if you can’t get one of the hotel spaces, parking on the street outside is convenient and safe. Shopping centre next to the hotel is great for food options aswell.

The location is quite far from the esplanade where the restaurants are and ubers/ taxis are about 20-30 dollars for a 10 minute drive. If you have a car it’s no problem parking is available in the shopping centre but walking takes over an hour. It was very very noisy for the road side rooms and we had to ask to move on the first night as it’s near impossible to sleep, but as we got moved to the opposite side we were very happy as it was very quiet.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return in the future if I were to return to Cairns. The hotel is more in the style of a motel, similar to ones you find in the USA. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The laundry facilities were great for anyone who needed to use them. There were tea and coffee supplies updated every day and a fridge in the room to keep any supplies purchased nice and fresh. There was also a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board in the room. There was a daily maid service, fresh towels were supplied daily upon request. The reception staff also supplied crockery and cutlery when I asked, although this wasn’t standard in the room.

There is no restaurant, cafe or bar on site. There is however a shopping centre 5 minutes walk away, where you’ll find a range of places to purchase food and a Woolworths store to purchase your own provisions. The addition of a cafe or bar in the evening would have been useful. It seemed when I stayed there people go out during the day, but return early evening and there’s nowhere to socialise or mix with other guests. There are no cooking facilities or a microwave in the room which I might have made use of use of.

The pool area was lovely. The hotel has a leisure pool, and a lane swim pool. Both clean and very well kept. There are sun loungers and a sandy beach area also. A couple more parasols/shaded areas for sun loungers would be great as there wasn't quite enough when we were staying. The hotel rooms are well kept, the bathrooms were very well maintained. There are fridges in the rooms which is great, and a laundry room if you are back packing! The hotel is a 30min bus journey into town, and bus stop is easy to find. The lady at reception at the time was very helpful telling us what was in the area. So although the hotel isn't in the centre of Cairns, it's only a short bus ride away All the staff at reception were friendly and professional. We felt very confident leaving our baggage with them whilst we were out on a boat trip and we really enjoyed our stay.

Slight lack of parasols at poolside. We managed to find a little shade and it didn't detract from our enjoyment. We just spent more time in the pool!

Appreciated there was a lift as we were on the second floor and with medical issue the lift was a savour. Loved the friendliness of the staff. The room was very clean. Appreciated our privacy. Even though we didn't use the pool it was such an awesome view of it.

Sad to say the beds were very uncomfortable, they were quite hard to sleep on and contributed to extra back aches. If you're looking to save money with the beds we would like to highly recommend foam mattress toppers from Target or Kmart can make a whole lot of difference to a bed that is overly firm and you may get a whole lot more satisfied customers. Parking was also an issue, although we managed each night it was a bit nerving.

You get exactly what you pay for. There are no bells and whistles: the rooms are basic and clean, the staff are fine, the location is outside of the main areas. Its half the price of other options, dont expect different! That said, the pools are fabulous. In choosing here you trade off a fancy room and central location for a much cheaper rate. For my visit, this was perfect (week long sports carnival, not tourism). Don't stay here without a car if your purpose is to be a tourist.

For my stay, nothing. I knew it was out of town and had limited facilities

Room and bath room was super clean Property is well taken care of and great view of the pool Beds were comfortable to sleep on Staff was very friendly and bubbly

Aircon If you wanted to turn it off , the lights went out with it . As you can’t adjust the temperature as it’s ducted aircon So room was super cold and had to leave the balcony door open to let the cold out if you wanted the lights on The one blanket supplied wasn’t enough to keep you warm with the super cold aircon , as being from North Queensland I didn’t need the temp to what they set it at It’s the only fault on the property- unit
