Superb location on waterside with very usable balcony. Stunning views from a delightful apartment. Helpful staff….a few small issues dealt with suitably (insufficient forks for number of guests, no instructions for washing machine in regard to do you turn the taps or not). Easy parking underground and on street. A don’t miss - pelican feeding at the nearby fish market.

Not so suited to young children (<10yrs): Lush cream carpet, cream Leather sofa/chairs…constantly worried about spillages by children. Tables with thick heavy unsecured glass tops…constantly worried about them being tipped / broken with children using them. Large openable windows BUT NOTHING TO STOP A CHILD FROM FALLING OUT

the uninterrupted views of the Broadwater were magnificent with full length sliding doors from the huge living room and bedroom a very short stroll take you to numerous restaurants and coffee shops very lovely walking and. bike track the whole length of marine parade there was a wonderful pool and bbq area There also was a games room area with comfortable seating large tv a very large collection of DVDs and a pool table, it would be a fun area for family get together every day at 1.30 the fisherman feed the pelicans, I would certainly feel the very short stroll to the fish shop north is well worth the visit to see these beautiful birds being ged

I felt that possibly some of the china could be rearranged no tidied up for easier access if dining in so it was just a suggestion it wasn't to say I didn't like it

I loved the views, both ocean and city, the apartment was spacious and the balcony was great with all the rooms having doors onto the balcony. The sea breeze at night was nice and cool. I loved just looking at the people exercising and walking their animals on the footpath below and the boats and water sports we could see from our room. The city lights in Surfers Paradise were great at night to just look at.

The television was a bit tricky to work out. The remote control fans and lights in the main bedroom either has an electrical fault or some other unknown phenomenon as when I turned the light off it would turn back on and then the fan would turn off, this happened on a few occasions, but eventually worked properly. There wasn't an oven tray to heat food in the oven so I had to purchase alfoil trays to accommodate that.

Location was excellent for our purposes.

I was somewhat disappointed with the view from the ground floor apartment. I was not expecting to be allocated ground floor and the aspect from the northern end of the building does not include views back to Main Beach. Very limited inclusions such as dishwasher tabs, lack of bin liners for kitchen, no shampoo and small hand soap. Work desk does not have a dedicated chair. Might seem like "nit-picking" however the cost for two nights was considerable and little extras do make a difference. Keith and Cheryl were very helpful and loaned us two chairs to accommodate a family lunch celebration. We would recommend the property and would stay again but would be more prescriptive re location of the apartment.

Awesome location, very close to theme parks and Harbour town for shopping, lovely to look out at the water from the balcony. Very spacious living area. The pool was small, but we were the only ones using it each morning, so not a bother, might be in summer though.

The only negative I can think of is that the windows and ranch slider doors all along the road/water side are not sound proof so you do get street noise, and on the weekend it was particularly bad with what sounded like a party of people shouting etc at 3am. One sink was quite slow to drain, and the dryer was so loud we ended up not using it.

What a stunning view from the apartment and the handy location (far enough from the busy area yet close to all amenities and theme parks). There is a variety of restaurants right outside the accommodations. The apartment is spacious and comes with an allocated secure carpark underground. We are so glad to have found Beaconlea for this vacation. It was serviced once during our 8 night stays but that wasn't a problem as i kept the apartment tidy anyway. I will come back to Beaconlea next time i visit Gold Coast.

I had to unclog the main bathroom sink using a tweezer on our 2nd day (was completely blocked) as i had no tool but couldn't be bothered telling the manager during our stay so we just didn't use the sink. Also some lights need to be replaced and the vent grille covers in bathrooms need to be cleaned. Anyway nothing would stop me from giving the top score for Beaconlea.

Although the building is a bit dated, the room we stayed was nicely renovated. Good location (right in front of the water), enough kitchen equipment including pots and pans, bowls etc.

hot water was not hot enough. Without adding any water, the shower was just warm. In chilly winter days, we would like to have a hot shower. Just a small thing- There was a small bin in the kitchen without any spare garbage bag. It would have been good if one spare bag was provided.

The location is across the road from the Broadwater - the 2 Bedroom Unit was very large and comfortable - there are restaurants within easy and close walking distance - you can walk along the promenade across the road and sit on the balcony enjoying a drink - we found our room very quiet from any outside noise - it appears that there might be a number of permanent residents at this complex which made it a bit quieter

If you want a view up to Main Beach you need to request a unit with a higher view when you book

Amazing views from 2 sides of the property. Large sofa to fit a large family or group. Plenty of bedding and towels. Kitchen was fully kitted out with all you could need.

Only one aircon for the whole 3 bedroom unit was working. When the breeze stopped the aircon was needed but couldn't reach to the bedrooms sadly. Unit is a bit tired but it's functional, could do with some locks on the bedroom doors or bathrooms.

Stayed in 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT directly on 2nd floor. The unit was huge compared to virtually any other similar apartments on offer on the Gold Coast. You are literally located directly across the road from the Sea! My kids and I watched the fireworks over in Surfers Paradise from our balcony in Labrador! The Beaconlea seriously is one of the very best accommodation options available anywhere on the Gold Coast. Dont be fooled by the price, it's as good if not better than others twice the price! Also, the onsite staff are super friendly and cannot do enough to assist you .

The main living area has A/C, the bedrooms have just ceiling fans only BUT, given the room is extremely well insulated from any direct sunlight, I'd be surprised if this were a problem in the middle of Summer given the amount of sea breeze the unit receives. We were totally comfortable for our stay but I thought I'd just mention this as it's the kind of detail most people will appreciate.
