Great sized apartment, and lovely staff. Great access to public transport

Furnisher a bit tired, and poor interior lighting.

Self catering apartment was well equipped. Everything we needed for our three week stay. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher , hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Fridge freezer, toaster, microwave , plenty of pots, pans, dishes , air conditioning and fan in bedroom. Lots of storage and coat hangers. Balcony with clothes maiden, table and chairs. Fantastic pool area, beautiful surroundings, BBQ area, Regular linen and towel changes. Reception staff are fabulous, happy , helpful, lovely, made us feel part of the sandcastles family. We are sad to leave them.

Great location and friendly staff. The pool and spa are lovely. Apartment was spacious.

The apartment is dated and needs a really good clean (showers had mould and under the beds were filthy) a few other minor issues like curtains didn't close properly, so didn't block out light, it was light at what felt like 3am (used to daylight savings), broken dining room chair. Missing remote for one of the fans but staff had communicated this, and we had an issue with a blocked air con leaking water everywhere but again, staff were great about getting this fixed.

Sandcastles is situated in Labrador,close to a lagoon across the road, busses are at your door step! The Saltwater pool is the highlight, you need this in summer as the heat can be intense! We stayed in a deluxe 2brm apartment, it had good cooking facilities, beds were comfortable, it was clean,I suggest asking for an apartment away from the road, the staff are friendly & helpful, I highly recommend staying here, I'll be back🙂

There wasn't much not to like, but the only thing I can add is there could of been a small non stick fry pan and the pots in our room could use an upgrade, everything else was great.

The location of this property is fantastic and the view from our 3 bedroom apartment was amazing. The apartment was big with two wonderful balconies and a really nice romantic upstairs bedroom with a spa bath on the balcony. The beds were super comfortable and so were the pillows. The apartment had everything we needed. The best part was the management. Honestly, I have never experienced such friendly and accommodating hosts. Absolute top ratings for that. The swimming pool is great with a lovely sitting and bbq area and just a short walk to the swimming beach and fantastic restaurants and bars. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

The apartment could be a bit cleaner but all the other great aspects of this property far outweigh this.

Great location! Great Apartment! Great Staff! Great Pool! Great views! Great Value for money! 5 of us stayed in one of the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 level apartments and it fitted us perfectly (with room to spare), plus the outdoor spa looking out towards the beach!!! We were there for 9 nights/10 days and being fully self-contained with your own kitchen, washing mashing and dryer just made it so much easier. The staff were helpful and friendly. We were minutes from Surfers Paradise, a short drive to the theme parks (with a discount we could use for staying at Sandcastles). The pool, spa, games rooms, bbq and outdoor set up was fantastic for a night in. I cannot fault anything, we were there for New Year's Eve and were spoilt to have fireworks on display right outside our room on the water. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for making our holiday so much easier.

The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of cutlery... we ran low on that a few times. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating! The children LOVED the pool and we were very impressed on how clean it was,. Excellent security both in the underground garage and in accessing our unit. We really appreciated the space; it was a nice large unit and accommodated 4 adults and 2 young boys VERY easily!

The queen size beds were not as firm as we would like (I, personally, didn't mind it at all, and slept quite comfortably). The hot tub / spa totally drained overnight and we weren't sure that it was supposed to? It took forever to refill so we didn't use it again. I shoud have asked staff about that but we didn't miss it that much.

Great location with shops and restaurants close by, pool was great and well maintained. The complex was clean and tidy and had everything we required.

The only concern with the room was the dining table which was unsteady and when eating meals we were waiting for it to collapse.

Room was HUGE, fresh linen, quiet and private and the carpark was big enough to fit our Ranger in it without worry of being dinged by other cars!! The BEAUTIFUL soul who checked me in needs a special mention 🩷 gave me a huge map of the area and told me about the nearest coles/woolworths and even local Pelican feeding for our 4 year old to go see!!! She was amazing 👏🏻

The non elevator situation isn't a deal breaker and it's mentioned on the booking sites and when checking in at reception so technically, I didn't not like anything :)

Comfortable Beds, well equipped kitchen, pool was great, staff were very helpful and we liked the location as we didnt want to be in the middle of surfers and wanted a more laid back holiday. Great location to travel to theme parks. Perfect for our family of five, Very close to the squash courts if you are into that.

Honestly only one thing was a bit of a peev and that was that the dryer was extremely noisy else it would have been a 10/10
