Location, the view, enough room for the family comfortably

Frypans need replacing, dust fell off the fan when turned on (it had been there a while). Thick dust on top of bathroom mirrors. Only 1 dishwasher tablet supplied for a 5 day stay, so had to go buy some😡. Thick dust on artificial plants. Crockery needs replacing, big chips on some plates(actually cut my finger), cracked glasses. Sliding door locks need attention. Grouting needs fixing in the shower. Blown light globes. This was the penthouse!

Very cosy and just the right size for our little family and trip

1) Door handles were flimsy. Felt as though it was going to come out from the door and in our hands 2) the little room blind was up and we were not able to put it down. 3) the carpet in the middle of the room gave off some lint which was difficult to vaccum. 4) one of the lamps in the master bedroom did not work - I guess rbs bulb had gone off 5) the utensils were clean but not sparkling. Had to hand wash it once before using to get the stain off 6) tap next to the washing machine kept dripping

The unit was well appointed and very clean. It was quiet and roomy. The bed was comfortable. Appreciated all necessary utensils for necessary food preparation and big refrigerator and freezer for food storage etc. The staff very pleasant and helpful.

Being very sensitive and allergic to chemicals the strong smell of cleaning products through the whole building was a great concern. Overpowering. Our unit faced South East therefore no morning sun on the balcony in month of July Insufficient trolleys to transport luggage to room and what was available the wheels were clogged with debary and would not turn therefore had to be dragged leaving unnecessary damage to the carpets.

View was fantastic, good location & the room was spacious enough for a family of 5. Plenty of utensils, pots & pans, plates & cups to cook in house. The parking was easy & clear. The pool area was terrific for all ages.

We had no face washer's, no dishwashing liquid, only a small sachet for a week. One coffee for 2 people on arrival. The fridge was not very cold at it's highest temperature. The lounge room gets very hot in the mornings as there is no block out blind only a privacy blind. The ceiling fan in the second bedroom was very slow at it's highest speed, The fan in the 4th bed area on the wall didn't work at all. Linen was left in the basket from previous tenant.

The location is excellent, and the space is well-equipped with dishes, kitchen utensils, dish soap, etc. We especially liked the pool area, with fabulous amenities like a hot tub, steam room, and sauna.

We got the garden view apartment which in the description says "2 bedrooms," but the second bedroom was more like a walled off living room space with a shutter door. It didn't completely close off or offer real privacy. Also, the units feel a bit outdated and give off a "timeshare" vibe.

It was directly opposite the water and our 2 bedroom apartment had a nice size balcony with views of pool and water. Reception was great and very accommodating. I used Gym,pool,steam room, spa. All excellent and clean and in good condition. Lots of deck chairs and the pools was a decent size and length for swimming. The room sizes met our needs and the kitchen had dishwasher,oven, microwave oven and normal appliances including washing machine and dryer to make our week holiday very comfortable. Walk in shower was larger than normal.

The oven was filthy and air conditioner filter hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There were no oven trays or anything you could cook with in oven but they brought up 1 new tray. The floor drain in the bathroom spurted out water and flooded the floor and was a blockage but maintenance came up quickly. The shower head was dripping a lot and should have already been fixed. Basement parking was good. There was only one bathroom between the 2 bedroom and was two way and worked out well even though my door kept sticking. 2nd bedroom had no windows and was dark but had concertina doors with louvres.

Great location, great facilities, great staff, beautiful views!

Lack of storage (only one of the 3 rooms had a set of drawers) also one room had no hanging space either - so no storage at all. Leaky hot water system in what looked to be storage in one of the sliding wardrobes in one of the bedrooms, which wasn’t ideal. Nowhere to hang wet towels either, when 5 adults and 2 children all have a towel each, there was only two tiny towel rails, a few over door hangers would be handy. Small complaint overall but important when staying for two weeks. Other than that the clean wasn’t fabulous for our arrival, sticky stuff spilt on coffee table and a bit dusty over all but nothing a once over with the vac and spray and wipe couldn’t sort. Was noisy with construction going on next door and the street loud for back bedrooms.

We are from the UK and we stayed for three weeks whilst visiting our daughter, partner and new baby (our first grandson). We stayed in one of the 11th floor apartments with a water view. It was a great apartment with comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen and clean. The bed linen and towels were changed weekly and we were informed in advance on what day this would be. The staff on reception were friendly and very helpful. They allowed our daughter access to the car park to visit us and to pop over and drop some shopping off for us before our arrival (as we arrived after midnight). Of course, as everyone has said, the view from our apartment was exceptional. Right across the bay, we could see Surfers Paradise and beyond. We even spotted dolphins and a Bull shark in the water. There were a great variety of birds on the water, including the famous pelicans and in the nearby park, and we had many morning visits from the lorikeets when we ate our breakfast on the balcony. We used the pool every day early in the morning, which was lovely and warm and very quiet. We also made good use of the jacuzzi! There's lots to do in and around the area with some good shops and restaurants about a 10-minute walk away. Our daughter drove us to most places, but there is a bus stop right outside the complex and Green bikes are available to hire. It's very flat for cycling!

The only thing that we would have liked is a couple of sun beds or more comfy chairs on the balcony. You just want to sit there and enjoy the view and surroundings or read without getting a numb bum!! Also, the clothes airer could do with replacing, as it was quite rusty and old and kept blowing over. These are only small things though and just suggestions.

We stayed here for just over a month whilst we settled in as we emigrated over to AU. The staff were super friendly and easy to deal with when we had any issues. The pool was really nice, as well as the Spa pool, we were there in October so it wasn't super busy. There was a vending machine for snacks, a gym which we used a couple of times, some books that you can pick up to read by the pool. The rooms were comfy, we had a two bedroom apartment, and this was really nice, it had a kitchenette a washer and dryer, and TV. There were some issues with the internet to begin with but was all sorted relatively easily. We also had mail delivered there and they kept it at reception for us to pick up. The location is nice as it's just off the main area so it's quieter at night, but not far from the action! The car parking was nice and easy too as they have a covered garage under the hotel.

Probably the only couple of things was that you can hear the neighbours, so if you're a bit sensitive to noise you may want some earplugs, and the other was that sometimes the lift could take a while if a lot of people were using it, so could take a bit of time for it to come down or to your floor, just something to factor in if you need to go somewhere quickly!

Love the location - you get some amazing views of the ocean and the parkland area around it is great and worth exploring. I recommend checking out Pelican Bay just up the road, which also has a lagoon for swimming in. It's not to far away from Southport and Surfers Paradise which are good tourist spots and have excellent beaches. You get a gym, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which is very handy. The staff are friendly and will help you out with whatever you need.

The unit we had was not the cleanest to begin with, but the staff were very helpful and sorted us out whenever we needed something done.
