facilities were good and clean. room service was awesome.

all the entertainment on side is adults appropriate, for kids there’s only the pool area which I’d say is not as big to accommodate comfortably. Big pain was that we were not able to open windows, not enough ear in the room. when you decrease temperature on thermostat it blows you off with cold but not adding actual ear to the room. as I strangle from high fever/dust mites allergies it was a bit unpleasant to spend a lot of time in the room. House keeping was by request, which didn’t end up happening. We did press a service button on 2 times when were leaving room for about 5 hours both times but they showed up twice when we were in the room with “do not disturb” sign.

The proximity and access to all the various stores, mall, restaurants etc, however a tip would be to pre book at the hotel venues onsite as they are quite busy and can't always assist you as a walk in without a reservation

Room turn over and housekeeping service was good, but a couple of days the service was not performed until after 4pm and on one of the days we had no service at all - attention to detail was definitely lacking - staff that we met were friendly and helpful though.

Parking process not good, needing to validate a ticket every morning is counter intuitive and redundant when plate recognition is already working. Required us to stand in check in line to validate every day. Cost of room service a bit beyond the joke. $6 delivery fee added to already expensive room service is like flogging a dead horse. $180 for a bottle of champagne…. I understand inflating costs as it’s a hotel but we are taking it a bit too far here in my opinion

I had a problem of being locked out on my balcony in my room from one of the house keeping staff! If i didnt have my phone on me, i would still be there and i would of missed my appointments. The front office manager and the house keeping person in mention all denied that this happened and it must of been an issue with the lock or i must of locked myself outside the balcony!? There is alot more to the story if the hotel manager wants to communicate with me? But i doubt they would or will as i didnt get any answers in the time i was there. A very dissapointing end to a week of being at the hotel ☹☹☹

The relaxed atmosphere poolside and breakfast was pretty good the comfort level of the beds are amazing… the room was very high standard of cleanliness..

The only thing that I could fault was not getting in quicker to get a better north facing balcony room on a higher level.. looking south at darling and star residence wasn’t great at certain times of early evening.. Just saying those frosted windows aren’t very frosted at star residence to those guest strutting round nude in the bathroom…..ohhhhh and up close sitting on the toilet right next to the frosted window ewwww kill any balcony mood yeah but yeah anywho

Size of room and room facilities were terrific

The queue for checking in/ out and the lifts. Also there was limited food choices outside of peak meal times. It was difficult to get room service and find clear info about the restaurants - and yes we looked on the TV. When asking staff about eating places they didn’t know what was available and even got recommended to a cafe that meal time was finished.

The Casino always offers consistency as far as accommodation is concerned nothing extraordinary just good. The tariff is high on weekends vouchers do help take the sting out of price if you can get full benefit of them!

Bed super comfy, sensor night lights that come on if you get up in the night were good, very dim and not enough to wake up the other person. Shower superb, toiletries provided were really nice. Huge TV !! The tea bags supplied were very elegant.

Loved that there was a coffee pod machine in the room, but no pods supplied to use in the machine, I thought that was a bit strange. Nightlight over the fridge area was still a bit too bright during the night, unable to turn it off completely.

Location, view, breakfast Buffet and very comfortable beds ect

Price was higher than previous visits with smaller bed/ room. But still would return. No place can compare to this location. Thank you Grand Star 😊😊😊😊

family with 3 (5,4,1) kids under 5, we stayed at executive king terrace and it was amazing 😎 we have also stayed at other rooms previously too but this room was best for us. from the service, to the concierge guys helping us with our heaps of bags, hotel service and to top it off we got three little wild ones and even other hotel guests were nice and friendly towards them especially in the lifts. it makes us that little bit more at ease you know 😊 one of our top hotels to stay at the gold coast with young kids ☺️ the beach is across the road, pac fair shopping centre is across the road. everything is all central and close for the kids.
