We have just spent 3 weeks in Hervey bay as we love the place. Stayed at White Crest. A beautiful place to stay. The apartment was so nice we could not fault anything. Julie, Bob and all the staff were amazing. So warm, friendly, could not do enough for their guests. They go above and beyond. 100% recommend White Crest Apartments. Thank you Julie, Bob and the crew for our wonderful stay. When the lift broke down, they even offered to carry our items, groceries etc up the stairs for us, and said to ask if we needed any help taking things up to the apartment. Sue & Wally, Tasmania.

There was nothing not to like. Only the lift broke down while we were staying, but that is not their fault.

Ahh, where to even start! The apartment was clean, comfortable, cute, and extra spacious for one, which made it feel very luxurious. It was also really well-equipped, with everything in the kitchen that I could've wanted, and a separate laundry room (which I didn't use as I only stayed for two nights, but it looked very practical). Extra points for the really comfy recliner chairs/sofa in the living room and an excellent shower, and the balcony where I could watch the changing of the guard from hundreds of rainbow lorikeets to flying foxes around sunset. The beach was a minute away, just across the street, and there were several nice restaurants nearby to get food from. Also, the staff was extra friendly every time that I interacted with them, and getting keys when arriving after hours was simple. So, just in case it wasn't clear, I really loved it!

Leave the car in the secured basement as Whitecrest is perfectly located between the beach suburbs of Scarness and Torquay! A leisurely stroll to either locale where you’ll find quality restaurants or beach front cafes - Aquaview @ Torquay beach or Beachfront hotel ( ol’ Scarb) or La Bella both at Scarness is a must visit! The beach across road is simply stunning - pristine at day break during high tide! If you’ve looking for a peaceful relaxing break away from it all, choose Whitecrest and be pleasantly surprised! Clean, comfortable with fantastic hosts (Bob and Julie) and staff made our long weekend incredibly enjoyable! We’ll be back… the big beautiful bay… Whitecrest… the perfect beach break!

Not a thing

Our room was 105 and surprisingly we got a very large balcony which was very exceptional. The room itself was very well designed with nice portion sizes for bedrooms, lounge room, laundry, kitchen and bathroom/toilet. We also love that carpark is very secure located under the building. Although if you do have guest visiting, visitor parking is also plenty towards the back of the building. Location of this apartment was so close to very best fish and chip shop and icecream shop in Hervey Bay.

Unfortunately our bed weren't very nice but doable. Pillows also weren't that good but I was able to ask for extra pillow at reception and they were very nice / understandable and without hesitation to find you extras.

The staff are fantastic! We had to change our dates due to unforeseen circumstances and Cody was so accommodating. He and Janine are so friendly and helpful and really make the place. We were short walking distance to great cafes and restaurants. Playground and beach right across the road. We stayed with a group of friends in different rooms, everyone loved their stay. Nothing to fault and we’re already planning another trip. Definitely plan to stay here again.

The property is well located within easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful and the apartment was very clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area.

The only thing I would have liked is more coat hangers in the wardrobes. I'm just one of those types of people that likes to hang all their clothes upon arrival.

We loved our stay at White Crest Apartments Hervey Bay. The room was perfect. It had enough space for our family, was clean and the location was great. The manager Jeanette was lovely and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was a problem or too difficult for her, she was always helpful and friendly.

Great location with a short 'hop' to the beach, There is a lovely treed coastal mainly level walk-cum-bike path all along the Hervey Bay foreshore. Shops, restaurants and cafes are within easy walking distance of the apartment. We had a lovely bright comfortable apartment which was serviced once a week. Staff are excellent with advice on activities in the area. We have re-booked for next year.

It gets light too early for this Victorian visitor. That is not their fault, though. The dawn bird song is lovely.

The apartment was huge and the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. We enjoyed many walks to the shops, beach, cafes and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

I couldn't find any coasters to put cups on. It would have been better if the timer on the spa went for longer, say 10 minutes so you could relax.

The location was excellent for us. The managers were fantastic from our phone call before arrival to say we had been delayed and helping out at every opportunity. No request was considered too much. Their welcoming attitude made our holiday.

The small car park spaces, eek. Obviously they can’t be changed.
