Close to most of the places. Staffs are very polite.

Everything was good. But I think it's understaff. Breakfast, there were cereal but no milk. Dessert but no bowls. Foods running out all the time one hour before the time. For an example, Thursday by 8.30am most of the foods are over. No milk when we ask for milk staff said it's over. But not filling. Staffs are absolutely nice. But may be they have been advised not to fill. Laundry, its better to ask cleaners to vacuum the lint filter (one at the front, below the door mouth). every day. It has been fully covered by lint so that the machine needs to work harder to make clothes dry. On the very first day after long drive then going out again for a walk then again went out for dinner and then trying to have a nice wash but there was no body wash.

This is a great place to stay. Arrived 15 mins before check in time and was admitted to my room without fuss. The new car park is now open just behind the building, and it costs $6 per 24hrs which is quite democratic for a hotel in central Maroochydore. Went straight upstairs to the roof and swam in the pool there. Water was almost like a bath on a 30 degree day, not to some people’s taste but was fine for us. Also used the fitness room on the top floor the morning after - facilities include two treadmills, a cross trainer, an exercise bike, balance ball, free weights up to 14kg dumbbells, an adjustable bench for horizontal or vertical exercises. Room was perfect temperature on arrival and bed was nice and comfortably firm. Choice of soft or firm pillows. Location is a 5 minute walk to Sunshine Plaza, 1.4k walk to Maroochydore Beach, and less to Cotton Tree.

Bacon not offered in hot breakfast. Don’t know if this was an exception or a regular occurrence. Breakfast was otherwise exceptional with excellent quality coffee. TV does not mirror Apple devices well. It has Chromecast as standard and we couldn’t get it to work even after ringing reception once. Air conditioner was a bit loud while sleeping. It said towels were available at the pool area, but we certainly didn’t find any.

A fairly decent breakfast was included and that there was a rooftop pool that we used, heated so even though weather not great we could take a dip. Room was immaculately clean and well equipped, never enough tea and coffee but it was fine...for the price and the star rating it was just right. Also extremely conveniently located right next to Sunshine Plaza shopping mall so anything you have forgotten, or to visit the shops and entertainment as are on your doorstep. It's also not that far from the beach...also the restaurants next to the hotel, of which there are three or four are all excellent...we went to Market Bistro which was lovely.

no free onsite parking had to walk to council car park, and it was torrential rain so got soaked. The hotel is a bit 'cold' in as such as its a functional business style hotel, so not very cosy, decor very 'grey' functional again fine for the price point. Also there are building works going on right, which makes the rooftop pool from one direction a bit ugly (as cranes etc() and sat nav to get there got very confused as some roads were closed off so took a bit of driving around to figure out how to get to hotel, obviously, this is/was a temporary issue so should not be a future problem..but if you want sea views and pretty or luxury decor this is not the hotel for you...

Comfortable bed, nice & firm. Good location close to Sunshine Plaza and cool new restaurants Rooftop pool was so lovely with great views and while not heated it was heated from the sun. Good for laps or just a dip. Small but perfectly formed gym with new Technogym treadmills. Friendly staff, especially housekeeping. We were lucky to get a park downstairs and it was well worth it but knew it was just the luck of the draw.

The bathroom is small and while for the most part it’s an efficient use of space, it would be impossible to hang up your towels for reuse during your stay. The only towel hooks are over the toilet and that wasn’t at all convenient. Maybe they could put hooks or a towel rack on the outside of the bathroom instead. Plus there’s not a lot of privacy between the glass frosted bathroom and the rest of the room if you’re sharing with one other. While we would have been happy to stay extra nights to try the $5 happy hour but not for the continental breakfast but that’s ok because you get a lot of value for your stay in other areas.

The room was really clean and all seemed new and modern, nice long curtains and when closing the blinds it would really be pitch black. The included breakfast was very fresh, not a lot of options but enough for a breakfast (eggs, sausages, muffins, hot cross buns, bread and the usual choice of orange juice and coffee and tea). Another good thing is that I signed up for IHG One Rewards (for free) and I could check out late, so managed to get a check out time for 1pm, which was great as I went for a surf and needed a shower after.

I did not enjoy the need of using my phone as a remote control for the TV, too much set up needed to watch TV, also could only watch Netflix if I casted from my phone, which it didn't work. I'm in IT and I struggled with all the set up, not sure how normal people do it. Also I booked a disabled room (well on the site it says Accessibility and honestly I wasn't sure what that means), just noticed it's a bigger room for the same price so I took it. When I checked in, the woman repeated loudly that I booked a disabled room and rolled her eyes. That was a bit annoying. They did not need proof of disability so what's the problem for booking it?

The rooftop pool and outdoor area was nice. It was too bad the weather didn’t suit for us to make use of the space. The 24hr fitness room was handy & clean. Products supplied to use in the bathroom seemed better quality than found in a lot of other accommodation properties & they smelt great too. Breakfast was great. Eat all you can, food was fresh and a nice variety.

Not having a carpark. No in-house food option in the evening. Kids would have liked Hot chocolate as an alternative to tea & coffee in the room and at breakfast.

Everything you needed all in one spot, the shower was great pressure, and beautifully hot. There were four USB ports, the Bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were just right. The blackout blinds are so good that at 8.00 am I thought it was still early. The Buffet breakfast was a nice surprise and a decent amount. Very central to Sunshine Plaza

There is not enough tea and sugar/sweeteners in the room. The setdown parking to check in is not great, we literally had to double park. The parking area is definitely not enough parking spots, the only other alternative is up the road, in the council parking. If these small issues were rectified this would be a great advantage to the Hotel.

Nice & modern. Lovely pool area on the roof top with good views. Lots of couches & tables etc up there to relax with some undercover. There is a gym with cardio equipment & a few dumbbells. That was good as only hotel while we were away that had a gym. Awsome buffet Breakfast, great way to start the day. Close to the shopping mall.

Parking was a bit difficult due to lots of building going on in the area. We had to pay an extra $20 to park on site. Parks were limited but glad we managed to get 1. Makes it stressful in an unknown place trying to find it then finding Parking spaces. Hopefully will improve after the buildings have finished.

We found the staff exceptional. The room was clean and had all we needed. My husband was working up there Friday /Saturday and the accomodation was less than 1 km away. 1 minute walk to lovely RSL club. Breakfast was delicious and an extra bonus free with your room,

We seem to encounter the same problem in lots of hotels and that is only having a doona on the bed. The bed was extremely comfortable but it is hard to sleep under a doona when a top sheet would suffice but it is too cool with no covering. We turned the a/c on and off all night trying to get a comfortable temperature . Also a bit tricky to find with all the construction going on around the area.
