Pretty impressed about this accommodation. Got own PIN for door(do not worry about forgot a key). All facilities are cleaned (bed, toilet, room, pool and outdoor) and easy to park. Location is also great to look around port douglas. Additionally staff(owner) are friendly and helpful.

Looks many back packers stay and don't have any rules about noisy at night. Therefore, If you are sensative and sleep early, maybe consider again. While I stay, over 3am I can hear people's conversations from outside, couldn't sleep well..except this, my experience was great.

Clean, comfortable, large room with own bathroom, mini fridge, air con, and a TV with Netflix. Parking at the front of the room, with burger and fries style restaurant attatched. 10 min walk to beach and 20min into town. The hot water is freaking hot. You have been warned. Pin code doors means you don't need a key to take with you to the beach.

Well, it's mostly a backpackers accommodation, so it comes with a lot of late night noise. The restaurant has karaoke, and the singing resonates down to the accommodation till 9:30pm. Just turn up the TV and air con to drown out the noise. Minor issues - The rear flywire door lock was broken or broken into. TV remote covers were falling apart.

Nice place, walkable to the wharfs and stores and restaurants. The rooms on the back side have a private patio backing up on a mangrove. We did not take advantage of the pool, cafe or lounge area, but they seemed nice. The place was full of young people and they did take advantage of the common areas and so it was a bit loud at times, but was quiet by 10 pm the two nights we stayed there. It was not a problem for us.

It would be nice to have an electric water boiler and mugs to make tea or coffee.

For a hostel or motel there was a really high standard. They provided multiple towels, soap etc. Also the pool and the bar area was very nice. The staff wss friendly and the room clean. Also you have your sepearate balcony.

The interior was a bit old. This was the reason why the room does not look clean, eventhough it was cleaned very well (rusty lamps and damaged floor). Also I needed a code to enter the room because I arrived after reception hour. They only sent it to me after I called to remind them 10 minutes before the reception closed, eventhough I messaged them several times before that I liked to receive the code.

We arrived late - we were sent an email with contactless check in on/arrival - all worked well. Exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. Staff very friendly when we spoke with them in the morning and gave good suggestions for what to do in a day in Port Douglas.

Sat Nav takes you to the rear of the property. May be worth warning guests - didn’t take long to find reception (the darkness of our late arrival didn’t help).

Kevin and reception and Kylie were both so lovely. Was quiet which suited as I was working but also if you wanted to be social there were people to socialise with. Rooms were spacious and lots of storage for your belongings. Good for an extended stay in port Douglas.

Was a 15-20 minute walk from the Main Street. Otherwise great.

The manager is very friendly, so bad I missed the time to meet his doggy Bonnie who is here sometimes. The atmosphere is great, and it is so close to all the shops.

Not everybody going there is very nice nor respectful to others... A group of people started to be very loud in the middle of the night, jumping in the pool (just in front of our room), screaming, etc, this kind of people who don't accept being told to shut up a bit, even if said nicely... But it is just a matter of bad luck, it is not always like that. :-)

I really enjoyed this accommodation. Not right in the middle of everything but a 10 minute walk or super short drive to everything. We loved the pool and our own little back veranda. We used the communal cooking and cleaning areas. I realy enjoyed our accommodation here :)

Very friendly owner who was super helpful with our trip. Great location that is an easy walk to village center and beach. Fantastic value for money.

Common cooking area was sometimes messy, but that was from other guests not cleaning up, not a reflection of the place itself.

Very nice hostel. True hostel vibe, communal kitchen and areas. Friendly owners and staff. Great pool. Location is great, 4 mile Beach is just crossing the street and the town is a 10 minute walk.
