Good location Excellent dining facilities

Staff were reluctant to believe me when I reported room key not working despite having another staff member needing h to assist us on the night of our arrival. Morning staff, first asked me “if I was sure” about the problem I was reporting, and later said it was all fixed and they could find nothing wrong with the room lock. I also had a large well in the mattress (unfortunately on my side of the bed!) that really should have been replaced. We couldn’t cast to the tv and more than half of the free to air channels did not work. But the rooms were clean and well maintained.

The room was spacious, bright and clean to work from.

The noise of the traffic next to the desk/work station was frustrating at times, not being able to hear online mtgs properly due to loud cars, burn outs on the street and ambulances/trucks etc. The apartments are surrounded by car parks and concrete so there wasn't anywhere close by to step out into to nature, felt stifled being in a carpark and surrounded by concrete with no natural environment close by without having to drive somewhere else. When I arrived Tania on the front desk was abrupt and quite rude to me for no reason? Luckily Isabella/Isabelle took over, treating me with kindness and respect.

The place was huge! We weren’t expecting the modern, spacious accommodation in such a wonderful location after paying the same amount for the very basic facilities elsewhere in more remote places. The washer and dryer were a surprise bonus! Very handy when travelling with young kids!

Just wished we’d booked for longer. We booked online with bookings.com for 1 night only and if we had known how wonderful it was we would have booked an extra night or 2 even! Unfortunately this was over new years so completely booked out once we realised the gem it was!!

Hotel in a good location to shopping, food outlets, coffee shops and had the in-house bars and restaurant. Credit to the reception staff who were empathetic to our situation and proved helpful during our stay. Room was comfortable with generous bathroom with washing machine and dryer.

The studio apartment booked had stair access only, the room was poorly furnished and appeared unclean. The hotel reception changed the accommodation to a hotel room with mini-kitchen and a better bathroom immediately upon our request, for the same cost even though the hotel was almost fully booked. The studio apartment was located 200 metres away from the hotel on main street.

Location to trains, shops and other friends staying in other apartments and hotel rooms within Mawson Lakes Hotel complex.

I was in Studio apartment 14A. So we’d night 28th June who ever was in the upstairs apartment from me kept me up all night running up and down the stairs which are against my bedroom wall between 12midbight and 3am… then running around the car park and Ty en back up and down the stairs along the wall of my bedroom, then what seemed like doing aerobics. Finally went out to confront her and she had her gym clothes on and doing laps of the carpal.. and what I assumed laps up and down the stairs! Not a lot of sleep they night for me. People are just weird!

The location was perfect for us, shops and cafes across the street. The hotel was very clean and the fresh towels each day was excellent. The restaurant was very good value and the food was delicious. Plenty of free parking. It might seem a long way from the city but in a little over 20 minutes you can be in the city. We will definitely stay here again. If Mawson Lakes hotel reads this review some tea towels in the room would encourage you to wash the crockery. Thank you.

Affordable. We're a country couple in the city for a night en-route from the airport back to the Mallee. We thought the price was excellent for such a nice, modern room. Spacious bedroom and ensuite. Very clean. Easy booking online with no hassle check-in. Amazing restaurant. Good location very close to Woolies, Aldi, parks and highway. Breakfast was absolutely top rate.

Didn't know the hotel was hosting a party on the same night we stayed. It was quite noisy until 10pm and revellers continued singing loudly on the street outside our window until midnight. Some of them were actually pretty good singers so it wasn't so bad. I'd sing like that too after a party at Mawson Lakes Hotel because the catering is absolutely top rate. Apart from that it was no worries at all. Highly recommended. Will be back.

The location was great for us - it's a 5 minute drive from our son. The facilities in the area are great. It's a good area and easy to get around. The car park and the apartment complex had an automatic gate so it was very secure.

The photos indicated a kitchenette which wasn't applicable to our room. A microwave would have been useful. The lounge room was really tiny and not fit for purpose considering the room had 2 queen/king beds (potentially 4 adults who could not have fitted into the tiny lounge room). The TV was such a short distance from the sofa, you could almost reach out and touch it. It didn't matter to us, although for some people it would definitely make a difference.

Staff were great - late flight in meant late checkin and the staff were brilliant about it. Onsite restaurant was great and food tremendous. Had the Soup of the Day and Pasta of the Day for dinner and were suitably impressed (hope the Chicken & Parsnip Soup one day makes it on the menu permanently). Generous portion size too. Even though the rooms were almost directly over the gaming room (which closes at 3am), didn't hear a thing. Rooms are very quiet. Only a fleeting visit, but will certainly keep this venue high on the list for next time.

The location, it’s convenient to where we need to go, the rooms are lovely and clean, the beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is great.

It’s not really that we didn’t like it, but we were in a room set up for someone in a wheelchair, it would be fantastic for a person who needed it. But for us, the bathroom was inconvenient as we both needed to put makeup on in the morning and didn’t have enough bench or mirror space. But other than that it was an excellent room
