The Cottage was easily and centrally located in the vineyards and places we wanted to visit. The cottage was impeccably clean and stocked with every comfort we could hope for. A wonderful selection of wines available, with a gift bottle to enjoy - which we did with the cheese and olives provided! Delicious port and treats to enjoy. The breakfast offering was fantastic with range to cover cooked breakfast or continental tastes. Kitchen had everything you could need. Candles around the spa bath, firewood for a warm and inviting fire. Thank you for executing your thoughtfulness so well - fabulous stay! Hope to return!

A lovely little cottage, secluded but opening onto a lovely pond. Well provisioned for breakfast and a welcoming bottle of Shiraz, port and chocolates was a nice touch. There’s little you could fault with this facility and it was interesting to view the water storage facility for the vineyards and how this has been integrated into the ambience of the whole complex. Enjoyed the use of the well stocked wood burner- very cosy.

Lacking cupboard space in kitchen. If there was a way to use a part of the locked cupboard unit this would overcome the cramped cupboard space. Constructive criticism only.

If I could give this place 20/10 I would. The photos don’t do it justice. It is so very cute and comfortable. The hostess provides a six star experience by all the little touches, a fire that is set for you when you arrive, wine and cheese board, breakfast supplies, nice soaps. All the special torches to make the stay feel so very special. Sitting outside by the lake is pure joy. There is even a little boat to borrow should you feel inclined. The bed is SUPER comfortable. We absolutely loved the little cottage thank you.

It absolutely didn’t take from the stay but the one better if… would be the wifi for the smart TV. We tried using Netflix on the TV but kept getting connection issues, it wasn’t watchable. Also no Channel 7 to watch the footy. We didn’t contact the owner because honestly we didn’t feel like it was worth the interruption to our short stay troubleshooting technology, we do enough of that at work ;-)

Quiet rural escape by a lovely dam surrounded by vineyard and convenient base to explore the area . Clean comfortable cottage with all the mod cons and careful attention to generous breakfast provisions , tasty treats and complimentary wines and port .Great wifi and lcd tv if you get any time . Comfortable outdoor lounge by the water and fabulous sunsets. Heatwave during our 3 day stay controlled by great aircon in a great little cottage oozing with charm and history . Hostess Tina had everything organised beautifully for self checkin and always available if needed .

Communication between the property and us was smooth. The location was beautiful, peaceful & quiet. Breakfast described or advertised was exactly what we received. It was clean and everything we needed for cooking were available. The rowing boats were a good touch for a fun activity. The messages from the property was a lovely personal touch. Location is close enough to get to the centre where other dining locations are available.

There’s nothing at all that we didn’t like. This is just a small suggestion: It’d be good to offer other outdoor game activity. It offers an opportunity to do something while enjoying staying by the lake.

The provisions for breakfast were wonderful. We had plenty for our needs but thought it was a nice touch that we only had to contact Tina if we wanted more. The location was awesome, close to wineries and the Township of Tanunda. The lake setting was absolutely beautiful. I told my husband it reminded of the lake in The Notebook movie. Just beautiful and so relaxing.

There was nothing I can think of to improve our experience. So much thought had been put into this Spa Cabin we staying, they had everything covered. The fudge was exceptional.

It was extremely comfortable and well equipped, but the best thing was the privacy and beautiful location. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The food supplies were awesome and the BBQ pack enough for 2 nights. I would recommend it to anyone for a peaceful break away from the crowds and in close proximity to the Barossa wineries. The owners were great communicators but let us just get on with it without intereference, although we knew they were only a text away if we needed anything.

All the little things , Wood provided for fire and camp fire , well presented breakfasts , Wines stored to buy if you wanted, Clean BBQ , great location , Duck food provided to feed ducks .

The spa cottages are attached so we had neighbours but we didn’t hear them . Next time we will get the hidden cottage or Cupid cottage .But we would stay at Spa cottages again! So to sum it up there wasn’t anything we didn’t like 👍

Very cute, we were provided with more than enough food for our 4 day stay, wood for the fire inside & outside was a lovely thought, coffee pods with so many varieties, the tea leaves tasted so good, we had several pots everyday. We will highly recommend this stay, was very relaxing and private.

There isn't a bad thing to say about this place, the drains were a little smelly in the bathroom, and we had a mozzie buzzing around our head of a night but nothing to complain about.

Stonewell Cottages was a paradise. We stayed in Hideaway Cottage that overlooked the lake. The seating area that was right on the lake was majestic. The cottage itself was extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly want. The provisions were plentiful and delicious. Tina was most attentive, enquiring each day as to whether we required anything else. I highly recommend this property to all.
