We did not include breakfast in our booking. The room was cozy but fit all our four luggages. Loved the “soft” and “firm” pillows!! The smart TV was also great but we encountered a glitch on our last night. But it was fixed.

The staff was probably on a break or were we just expecting too much for a bellhop? We needed help with a luggage trolley on our way out but no one assisted me and my Mum (carrying our luggages to the trolley and pushing it to the elevator as well as into and out at the lobby). We earlier requested for assistance and the desk person said she was alone but will try to get somebody to help. So the trolley came and was just left outside our door 🙃

The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Don. The breakfast was fabulous. The shower and bathroom space was really good. The bed was a bit hard, we would prefer a top sheet and cotton blanket as the doona was too warm. We had a very quiet room as requested. For a 5 night stay we needed more drawers, hanging space and hangers. The restaurant staff did not engage at all. The location was great and easy parking. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Great decor, excellent service and comfy beds. We only stayed one night, it really meet our needs. We booked the carpark and breakfast included package which was outstanding value. It would have been helpful to have more info about the parking ahead of time but when we arrived we saw the parking entrance next to the front door with a few parking bays for check in. The breakfast was really delicious and we ordered barista made iced latte as an extra, there is also a self service coffee machine.

Our fridge didn't work however it wasn't an issue but was a little inconvenience. Reported to reception staff upon check out who apologised and noted it for maintenance. The menus on the Dandelion website don't show the breakfast options so we were really happy to see a wide range of hot and cold food.

Our overall experience exceeded our expectations. As others have stated the service and staff at the Holiday Inn and their in house restaurant were wonderful and with our recent stay I can certainly attest to that. Always ever so professional, helpful and courteous, they are the true standout. The dining experience was enjoyable thanks to the tasty and well presented food, our friendly and attentive servers and a bonus - the fact that kids eat free during your stay. Buffet breakfast was fantastic with various options. The rooms were very clean and beds comfy. And there was also secure parking available. We had a lovely time and would not hesitate returning. Breakfast was good. Staff were all helpful and attentive hard working. There seems no standard room with 2 single beds. Overall good value for money.

Aircon had errors a few times, temperature control was an issue. Smart TV was not connecting with Netflix and PC casting was not possible as T&C file was unable to be downloaded view due to server error. It never worked during my stay. Fitness room was just basic with a few bicycle and partial dumbell sets.

The staff at reception was really swift and consistently friendly! The buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing! A diy juice bar, a good cereal selection, fresh fruits, veggies, toast with ALL kinds of breads to choose from plus hot foods: pancakes, baked beans, mushrooms, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and more!

The parking was a little bit difficult at times, the car spaces are tight and it was super busy! The buffet breakfast items to have signage of what's inside the baymarie- It's especially helpful for those of us who have dietary requirements.

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn in Dandenong. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The room was clean and well-maintained, which made my stay very pleasant. It’s clear they care about keeping everything in great condition. The price for the king room is great value and affordable, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for comfort on a budget. The location was also very convenient. I highly recommend this place for its excellent service, cleanliness, and great value.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. The room & bathroom were beautiful & clean & the bed was very comfortable. We had tea at the downstairs restaurant. Staff there were very friendly & helpful too & the meals were really lovely. We also had breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. Lovely selection of hot foods, cereals, fruits, juices, etcetera. Under cover parking was $12, which we thought was a good price, giving us peace of mind, knowing that our car was safe & secure. We would definitely stay again & will recommend it to our friends.

I love this place, it looks kinda trashy imo, because of the brand (holiday in) however inside this place is fitted out like a resort. the staff are endlessly kind and helpful, I only sorted one night at a time, buying them on the day of each time because thats when they're discounted heavily .and then I Just extended my stay by buying another cheap tickets on booking.com 4 days in a row now.

I can't think of anything that annoyed me other than the occasional harrassment from homeless right out front

toilet door has a big cap around it and not good for when one is using the toilet its not really good you can hear everything when someone is in there real letdown actually and nothing in the mini bar at all not even water or a can of soft drink, to many druggies hanging around the entrance to hotel doesn't make you feel comfortable really
