Our room was very clean, faced ikon park. Beds were comfy. Overall was happy with our room. The swimming pool was good, but the weather was on the cool side so we didn't really use it. Moja Duck restaurant which is adjoined was amazing. 10 minute walk to Melbourne Zoo and A few minutes walk to Tram into city. 24 hr reception, and they kept our bags for us when we checked out so we could have breakfast before the flight. Our key sometimes took alot of tries to open our door. Not enough coffee and sugar in room. It's advertised that breakfast is available and when we checked in were told yes breakfast is provided..but when we came down to have breakfast there was nothing there. We stayed 4 nights and there was never breakfast. We did go to a Cafe though so not a huge deal, we just thought we could have it at the hotel

Stayed while it was 40 °c, pool + mini pool outside was perfect for us and kids to cool off and bbq right near pool worked great. Our room was perfect for us great size tv which was easy to use, air con worked perfect and was easy as to figure out and use. All together could not complain at all. Bonus was the location for me as a supporter, as it's literally directly across from Carlton FC training ground 😁😁 also lovely lady working in reception, thank you very much 🙂

Overall we generally could not fault our stay here at Parkmore. It had everything we could've asked for + more and the staff were ever so friendly and helpful with all of enquiries. Will definitely be back, thank you! 😊

The only downfall was that our fridge in our room was a little bit dodgy, would leak and then also freeze out food we put in there but otherwise was an overall amazing stay!

I've lived in Melbourne, so I know. That this short ride, to town, by tram, interesting area, other then the city. Just went to get special foods that I can not get in NSW, which I'm not happy about. It's a lovely dip, sold in Victoria called castlemaine Dip, cracked pepper and fetta really nice. I miss so I come to Melbourne to get a dozen, and write to company and complain, pls sell this in Coles everywhere in Australia lol

My husband really like the room size and the bed. Their bed is so firm and comfortable, my husband doesn't like the soft bed. And I personally like their staff and they services, they are so friendly and polite, easy to communicate as we can speak mandarin. I thought they are the new owner of the hotel and they are doing some renovation in the hotel to upgrade the hotel facilities.

The hotel is still under renovation, but it is fine for us as we went out at the day time and they stop all the work at the night time, so it is totally fine for us. Just a little bit messy sometime when we came back to the hotel at the reception area, but they clean up everything very quickly.

Great Hotel ...very well priced and a good location..car parking on site .at $10 a day...tram stops close by and the about 800 metres away. Ignore some of the older reviews as has been under new management for the last three months and the new team are very responsive to any issues ( I had a problem with the card reader on the door and it was fixed immediately). I would definitely stay again.

Under renovation at this stage and although the entry and out the front is pretty messy with leaves and not being tidy and looking run down, the room itself was new. Carpets, paint work, television, bed furniture etc. They are trying their best to renovate and also occupy the rooms so there were a few things missing like a microwave, tea spoons and maybe a table in the room might be handy. Also customers don't want a small bar fridge sitting under a counter on the floor. This didn't worry me as all I wanted was a bed that was comfy and it was. Yes it feels like your sleeping in a renovated establishment but there was no noise during my stay. I stayed 18.01.23

It needs to be cleaned up around the front entrance, blow down the roads and clean up around the walkways. Wash the main windows, put some decor in the reception area, I know your under renovations but this will help improve the look. Some signage telling customer what your doing to the place as well. Also hide the dirty linen as you walk up the stairs rather than taking the lift. You need to have cleaning down regularly while under renos to make it appealing. Once this is done you won't receive comments like this

Room was spacious had a good tv with YouTube and good lighting fairly clean. Very affordable. Great location tram across the road right by city centre. Plenty of free coffee and rooms have a bar fridge although no microwave. Bed linen is clean and in good shape. Beds are comfortable.

Bath tub in en suite needed a scrub, somewhat grimy. Pool area was very run down with some hazards and bird poop all around pool needed a pressure wash. Decking needs resealing. Car park area looks a bit messy.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to the request of a room outside the pool. The room was newly renovated, crisp white and clean. Massive tv. For the price I paid and the location, I was very surprised. I would 100% stay again.

No toilet door. There was a rolling door into the bathroom but the toilet and shower had no door. I would recommend a lock on the sliding door for added privacy. Wifi didn’t work. It would constantly drop out and not enough signal to watch Netflix.

The room was clean and comfortable. My son loved the pool, reception was easy, carpark close to the rooms (being 6+months pregnant, this was important). Super close to the zoo!

Husband was kept awake the 1st night of his stay by the baby next door, sister was woken at 5am by next doors alarm. Sound proofing between rooms could be better.
