Very good value for the length of stay and spacious room for three people. Location was right off the highway and up the street from the nearest train station, though still 46m walk away. We never spoke face to face with staff but the lodge accommodated by allowing late check in and early check out. Free wifi and free to air TV, plenty of very comfortable pillows. After a short 7m drive to the train station and a 30-40m train ride you're in the CBD. So much parking keeping the cars off the street and safe from vandals.

The hot water was concerning as it continually went cold during 15m showers. Hot water didn't run out as it could be returned by dialling down the cold and back again, potentially a strain on resources from other guests.

The workers are amazing and friendly. The room cleaning services are also excellent they will change the towels daily if you want to. There is one bus to the city 2 minutes walk away from the lodge. The room is clean, pretty spacious, and the air conditioner works well. There is a mini fridge, microwave, iron and the board, hairdryer and plenty of parking spaces. Definitely worth the money!

The shower is at the top of the bath tub so you need to be careful when bathing esp if you travel with children or old people.

Ease of parking. Arrived late, but access was easy to get in as we had pre-arranged this. Location ok if you're driving. Room and bed are basic but adequate for our purpose. Cleaning and room make up was very good with consumables always replaced. Great value for the level of accommodation.

Electric blankets were available but not plugged in and no way of accessing the power points which seemed to be under the bed. Room and fittings could do with update - but if all you want is basic accommodation at a very good price, then this is good value.

Beds are comfy with heating mattresses. They tidied up the room every day except Sunday (which is understandable). Kitchen is great with a lot of storage and necessary cookware, dinnerware, and silverware. The apartment is also quite roomy. The hotel is beautiful and quaint, the small gardens are nice touches. The flowering tree in the parking lot is also beautiful. Laundry is complimentary, which is great for long stays or if guests need to wash something urgently. It was also very quiet when there's no wedding or event.

The shower in the jacuzzi bathroom has very inconsistent water temperature. Carpet might need deeper cleaning as dust and allergens caused two of my family members to sneeze furiously almost non-stop, needing antihistamines. One side of the closet door of the two single-bed room perhaps needs something to make it shut and stay in place. Suggestion to add a blind or curtain for kitchen window because it felt exposed there. Laundry room lighting needs to be fixed.

The most satisfying point is the detail supplied by the staff! The first day I arrived, I didn't receive the call from the hotel, but I saw the notice paper stick on the window and told me which room I lived. In addition, on weekdays they would clean the room every day and make your bed and the whole room tidy, which made me have a good mood aftering getting back to room every day! Especially the price is very acceptable and highly match everything there! Thanks for your good service! If I will travel to Melbourne next time, I must come back again!

The location is a little distant. If you wanna buy and eat something, you must walk around 15 minutes to reach Mc Donald or Subway. But anyway, the price is good and the transportaion is convenient. You can take 906 to reach city around 30 minutes!

Check in was easy, staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bed / pillows comfortable. Bathroom was good - shower water pressure was good / water hot. Toiletries provided were good quality. Easy parking and surrounding area was quite of other guests. Fresh towels were provided each day and rubbish removed - over a 3 night stay

Had to wash dishes / cups ourselves each day during a 3 day stay - only a teatowel was provided nil detergent

"Wall" of tub came away when my heel scraped it entering shower. Informed nice desk clerk, she assured me it occurred often and she'd get it fixed. Wasn't fixed until second night, but was only propped up with pieces of wood. It fell again. We didn't mind much, just had to step over it to enter shower, but could've been dangerous. Maybe they waited til we left to completely repair it.

Electric blanket on comfy bed. Couch was comfortable. Water was hot in the shower. Water pressure was good. TV had HDMI port for our chromecast. Upgraded on arrival from upstairs room to ground floor room due to one of us using a walking stick. No traffic noise from the busy roads we were on the corner of.

The compendium was useless! No breakfast menu in it, like was said in the front pages of the motel information. No pamphlets of nearby food outlets, we were from interstate so didn't know the area. We eventually googled delivery services and had a meal delivered. No cutlery or plates to eat the meal with. There were 2 daddy-long legs spiders, one in shower and one above small rubbish bin by fridge. No water jug to fill the kettle with. Very small coffee cups. No hooks in the bathroom for our clothes when getting undressed for shower. No hanger in bathroom for hand-towel. No phone to reception, who were not on site after 5pm or the public holiday when we left. Window only had a blind and when open it looked straight into the staff area, so no privacy in the room.

The beds were unbelievably comfortable we slept like a baby. Outside was absolutely beautiful and romantic. it was easy to get to the places we were going. we will definitely be staying here again when we go to Melbourne again It was truly a magical time there and I wouldn’t want to say anywhere else.

Truly there wasn’t a thing we didn’t like staying here it was an amazing stay.
