the room's where a good size and clean everything expected from a budget motel u couldn't of asked for anything more for a cheap room for a night or two the bed was comtable and everything was provided soap towels milk coffee towels and everything worked well the shower was clean and water pressure was good aswell l stayed in the back rooms it was very quit short troll into town and very close to the walking trails and river next time l will be bringing my fishing rod so l can go for a fish l will stay there again thanks for letting me stay and for the extra nigth so l wouldn't have to walk round town all day until l caught the bus home instead l caught it the next day when more trains where available thanks l will be staying again in the future

not many tv channels to choose from the sound was there, but no picture,so l couldn't watch any movies on GO seven mate ect ect

The manager Terri was incredibly helpful and friendly. Terri provided a lock up facility for my bicycle, advised the local attractions and routes to the bicycle paths in the area. Enquired about our satisfaction with the stay and if any more could be done to improve.

Facilities need some uplift to brighten up the appearance. While adequate for a motel, the general landscape could use some improvement to give a feeling of tidiness and connection with the buildings. The grass was cut and the pool was clean, but the large trees need removing and the rear improved to feel less industrial. Perhaps something for children beyond the simple swing set for families to enjoy.

Great for a quick stop, wouldn't stay more than 1 night but comfy and clean and done the job. Owner/receptionist man was friendly

Old fashioned rooms, lighting wasn't the best. Gap under door and quite alot of noise, pleased I was put round the back away from the road. Next door sat smoking by my window and could hear and smell everything. Expensive for what It is really. Probably wouldn't stay again for this price.

It was a very late booking and it was fairly cheap, so my expectations were not very high. However, the hosts were marvellous and extremely helpful for where to eat, get petrol etc Although the room was small, it had everything we needed and most importantly, it was very clean with all facilities in working order I had stayed in 3 different accommodations for the previous 3 nights - they were more spacious and luxurious, but there were issues in each one, with things not working or essentials not supplied (such as soap or a hairdryer) No such issues at Millers Cottage - everything I needed was available + more

The owners communicated openly and were very friendly. The shower was wonderful after a day-long drive. They owners provided adequate facilities to keep the room comfortable for an evening overnight.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable, though managed through the night. It is typical of a spring mattress. The only other feedback would be that the kettle did not fit under the faucet.

Room was small but has the amenities needed, including a toaster and kettle. We travelled with our baby and her set up next to the bed comfortably.

Couldnt fit the kettle in the sink to fill, had to use a cup to fill it up. There was only the bathroom sink to clean any dishes used, which made things very difficult.

The rooms are clean and warm, the bed is comfortable - which is all I needed. The location is good, within walking distance to the centre of the city, and close to restaurants etc etc. Despite being on the main road heading north out of town, the motel is very quiet and peaceful.

Nothing not to like about the stay.

I chose this hotel based on price and location. I knew it was an older property and didn't have high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful and clearly wanted to do a good job. The room, although old as expected, was spotlessly clean and there has been some significant effort made with new linens and so forth. I had a queen bed with four pillows, fresh white sheets etc. The bathroom is small but clean and amenities and towels etc were good. Breakfast is included and although basic (cereals, toast, drink) was delivered to the room on time and well presented. Everything in the room worked as expected, including the WiFi.

Don't book this property expecting a modern luxurious experience.

Room comfortable. Toaster and microwave excellent allowed us flexibility with our meals.

Poor communication. Between booking agent and millers cottage We said we would pay on arrival. Money taken as soon as booking completed. The total price listed on booking form. Was different to one paid.

The room was spacious and contained all amenities. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was adequate. The kitchenette had a spacious table and four chairs, as well as a good sink for washing up and a microwave. The owner was pleasant and helpful. The lighting was good.

The curtains were not hanging neatly on the hooks. The property looked a bit run down on the outside.
