The bed was exceptionally comfortable and suite was spacious, but no love was evident in the ambience overall.

For a $400-$500 a night tariff I would have expected a little more attention to detail. Box of tissues only had about 10 left in the box, were cheap and scratchy! Expected hand wash in a pump bottle not a 20 cent size of hand soap and no place to put it, same with toiletries. I have long hair, not only were they very sparse but would have been nicer in a shower dispenser unit instead of thumb sized bottles. No powerpoint on my side of the bed yet 3 on the other side. I am an interior designer, Art hung behind a tv makes no sense? No housekeeping, tired decor with damaged cabinetry, won’t be coming back, would not recommend.

Location was beautiful

Breakfast was not good. Also had to pay for coffees on arrival, without being told there is a machine in the dining room which is free to use. Lunch/dinner bistro menu is also very overpriced for poor quality food. We had the beef burger and fish and chips and both meals were bordering on inedible.

The room was spacious and comfy with a nice view of the courtyard. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Perfect location if you want to explore the Yarra Valley, we did a tour of the wineries, and it was a great location for that. Bonus was we walked round the property at sunset and saw loads of kangaroos. It was very peaceful. We were in a bigger car, so couldn't fit in the underground parking, but there was still plenty of parking available, just a slightly further walk away.

Not too much really close by to the property, i.e walking distance. So if you'd been out drinking wine all day it was difficult to get anywhere unless you got a taxi. There is a bar and restaurant on site, but wasn't much atmosphere when we were there.

Absolutely everything! From the moment we walked into the lobby it was spacious and the staff were so kind. It was our honeymoon so we splashed out and stayed in a suite (which was EXTREMELY well priced). The room was incredible! The bed was like sleeping in a cloud! I can’t even begin to explain how happy we were with this hotel!

This was no fault of the property. But being a more corporate hotel, the guests that it attracts are quite obnoxious and loud. At 10:30pm on a Tuesday night the suite across from us turned into an extremely loud party. We called down to reception who told us not to worry, they will sort it…. And within 10 minutes we were sleeping comfortably again. The staff were great!!

Easy check-in. We were upgraded to a room with the view to the golf course which was very nice. Peaceful and secure place. We forgot the charger for my hubby's apple watch, surprisingly the reception had one to borrow. Great selection of food for buffet breakfast which was also included. Easy access from parking area. Nice walking trail around the golf course. Saw a few kangaroos hopping around the golf course. Comfy bed. Big bathroom. Big room with comfy lounge sitting.

There is no room light. There was only a light at the entry way, bedside lamps and a reading lamp. Made it a bit awkward for me getting ready for a wedding party as I had to open the curtain to get more lights in. Thankfully it was during the day so plenty of natural light. The open shelves in the bathroom were a bit dusty and one of the cups was not very clean. But the room itself seem to be clean. TV is not connected to any channel. So if you want entertainment you need to connect your own device to the TV

The staff were amazing. They accommodate to your needs. A room on the lower floor was changed from an upper level for my Mum to make it easier for her walk to the restaurant. The lovely lady at reception suggested this the night before. Drinks made at the bar and restaurant food were all delicious. Rooms nice and clean. Beds are really comfortable, and all you can eat breakfast is amazing. Gardens are beautiful. It was very quiet and peaceful to walk around and sleep. Wonderful place to stay.

More variety on restaurant food but the food selected we are was really nice. No mini bar in rooms, but you can order from reception.

We had a lovely experience here! The pictures online were almost too good to be true, but when we entered our room it was just beyond our beliefs. We had a beautiful room, huge bed, a shower AND a bath tub! Our room was with a view on the parking, but there are rooms with views on their nature and it's just wonderful. We slept great here, no noise from neighbours and breakfast was just sublime. PS: there are heaps of kangaroos here!!!!

We don't really have any complaints to be honest. There was a minor situation during our dinner with a few drunk men but the staff handled it like pro's. Everything else was perfect. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent facilities and location for an ideal family getaway. If you are looking to just relax and spend the time away from the hustle and bustle of life, then this is an ideal place. Surrounded by nature within an hour's drive from Melbourne West. The complimentary breakfast at the family run in-house restaurant is the cherry on the cake. Such a warm group of individuals and the breakfast menu has got so many options. Short drive to other places and plenty of options available for lunch or dinner within 5-10 mins drive.

We went there to relax and celebrate our wedding anniversary. When we reached, the room was well arranged with a personalized note and 2 pieces of cake. Tracy and the rest of the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and attention to detail, making our stay truly exceptional. Breakfast was a highlight, with a delectable spread that exceeded our expectations in both quality and variety. It was the ideal start to our day in this picturesque location. In short, we enjoyed our short stay at Yarra Valley Lodge and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

We had dinner planned outside and only main gate was open to exit. It was hard to navigate with google maps redirecting to shortest route where gate is closed.

Service from the time we checked in was friendly and professional. Giving advice for dining and walks. We had dinner at the bar 1st night, the service and food were good and we could watch the footy on the tv. Had room service 2nd-night food was perfect. Breakfast was plentiful with good options to choose from and allowed for dietary requirements to be catered for.

We think the bar, casual dining area is a bit outdated and small. Better seating options and more tv to watch different sports. The bathrooms are also a little outdated and could be upgraded. A swimming pool and spa would be great.
