It's a good hotel in an old building but with all the modern facilities. Guests should take into account that there is no door in the shower in the room)) it is not broken, it is not provided by the design) As for parking, the description indicates that the hotel has private parking, in fact, there is a municipal free parking near the hotel, where they offer to park if there is space. We had no problems with the availability of seats, although we arrived for the festival weekend.

it was strange that in the bar they refused to give us a fork, they asked us to come when the restaurant closes, but at the same time they gave us a spoon without any problems))

The atmosphere is great, being in an old monastery. The ceilings are high and vaulted, the interior is simple, but tasteful. We had a room facing the Donau and unlike some other reviewers here, we didn't hear anything from the post. We did see their cars, but we heard no noise. The room had a double window. No airconditioning, but there was a fan. The room is big and spacy, there is a fridge. Great to have free parking behind the building.

There is no kettle nor cups. The shower is built into the room with no door, so you have to be quite familiar with the person you're sharing a room with.

The hotel's location is perfect. It is in an anciet building. It has an own parking lot. The staff is very kind and helpful, they help you whatever problem pops up. The room was spacious, we also liked the design. The breakfast was also good. The hotel is pet friendly!

Although the hotel is 4* facility, it has no aircondition. And if the weather is hot and humid, it is almost unbearable to stay in the room. A fan is provided but it doesn't help much. The small fridge also couldn't beat the heat - it barely made the water a bit colder than the room temperature.

Altes Kloster is a hotel in a former monastery complex near the town center. The room we booked was very large and comfortable. We could manage the unusually high temperatures during our stay by having windows open and a fan was provided in the room. The breakfast was good.

Only two minor negative points: the smoke coming in from the windows from the outdoor dining area located just beneath our room in the courtyard in the late evening, and the small number of power outlets.

Breakfast was fresh, the selection was not too wide but it was delicious. The room was spacious and we had a bottle of mineral water for free every day. Free parking place in front of the hotel, we find place even when there was a concert in the neighbouring Kulturplatz. We could discover the entire region due to its central location. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was good, however we really recommend Restaurant Karnunt!

Cleanliness was not fully sufficient, the toilet was stinky, you must keep the toilet lid off. We had to ventilate the room twice a day because the air was staled.

Staff are very courteous, professional and helpful. The location is wonderful. Easily accessible to Bratislava and surrounds. Food is lovely and atmosphere is very relaxed.

Studio has so much potential that is underutilized. It could be so amazing but currently is just average. The WI-FI is almost non-existent in the Studio (but am sure will be fixed). Small things and attention to detail lacked (eg power point for room lamp did not work, housekeeping could have been better).

The beds were very nice and the room very spacious, both in usable area but also vertical/height. The location is very central with very easy parking space for the car.

Shower was a bit broken but usable with good water pressure. The room was a bit too hot and there was no AC that we saw making temperature control difficult. The breakfast was not included in our booking and seemed a bit too expensive (we have been in more "premium" locations like Paris where the breakfast was cheaper).

We spend two nights at the hotel while biking between Vienna and Bratislava. The hotel staff was very helpful and nice. We could store the bikes in a special area. The hotel provides parking and has an electric vehicle charger. The restaurant is very good and the staff working there extremely helpful. The hotel is nicely located, and we could ride our bikes in the area. Although the carpeting in the corridors is a little worn, the room was fine and clean. It was also large enough that to fit two adults and two children in two separate beds (bed and pull out sofa).

As a small suggestion I would request to provide the possibility for guests to sort the garbage for recycling. We are very keen on this as a family and appreciate to have clear instructions on how to do this rather than through plastic, paper and glass in one bin. But this is truly a minor issue.

We stayed in the Altes Kloster for a family break. The hotel was really comfortable and clean. The check in process was very simple and the staff were really friendly. The location is perfect if travelling to Bratislavia or Vienna. The room was huge and really comfortable. This was one of the best hotels I stayed in for a long time based on the price paid.

I really cant think of anything that could be better from my experience.

Hotel is in a great location in Hainburg and is an historical building with high vaulted ceilings and lots of light. We had an interconnected family room and it was perfect for us with a little view of the Danube. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Lovely courtyard for meals. Free parking at the rear of the hotel.

There is no AC and our room was quite hot but it didn't stop us sleeping. There is a separate toilet room within the room but there is no wash hand basin in the toilet so you have to use the basin in the shower area on the other side of the room. Also, the shower is an open shower area with no doors and a large mirror so there is no privacy and you are on full display to the room! Didnt bother us but it might bother someone depending on who you are sharing with! .
