The owner of the bed and breakfast was so nice and inviting when I arrived. The room we stayed in was very cozy and had everything we needed as well. The breakfast service every morning was also fantastic.

The hotel is located in the hills of Salzburg, which does provide for excellent scenery and views. However, the path down to the hotel after getting off at the 150 or 155 bus stop is quite steep. I had a large luggage so going up and down that path was a challenge. I wouldn't let this stop me from staying at this location, however, because everything else is so wonderful. It is more just something to be aware of.

The hosts really went above and beyond - they saw it was my birthday while we were visiting and Caroline brought me champagne and a little cake with breakfast, SO sweet! The breakfast was yummy with Caroline making some homemade treats like apple struddle and croissants. The room was enormous and I loved the Nespresso machine. We had a beautiful terrace overlooking Salzburg. Comfy bed.

The location isn't great if you're planning to spend your trip in Salzburg city. There's a bus but then you're reliant on the bus schedule, which wasn't reliable. Sunday's there's only 1 bus per hour :/ Other days it's every 15 minutes which is easy to manage!

We loved the Haslachsmuehle. The owners are super friendly, the place is a former windmill that dates back to the 1600s, breakfast was very nice, and it's got a great view of some of the mountains around. It's also very clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The owners made you feel as if you were just relaxing in your own country house. When we come back to Salzburg, we'll definitely stay there again.

Nothing we disliked. The one thing to note is that it takes about 15 minutes by bus to get to the city centre. We didn't think of this as a problem, particularly as the hotel is in such a nice, relaxing area.

We loved absolutely everything about this place. Set in beautiful surroundings, decorated to an exceptional standard, the room was wonderful. The hosts, Caroline & Roland, couldn't do enough for my wife & I. The breakfast provided was superb, with selections of pastries, cereals, meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, & juices to suit everyone's tastes, not forgetting fresh eggs from the owners chickens if wanted. I chose this establishment for our wedding anniversary, & am so glad I did. I would highly recommend Die Haslachmühle, & wish we could have stayed longer. If I could give a rating of 15 out of 10, I would. Thankyou for an unforgettable stay.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about at all.

Very nice, large apartment, in a beautiful old building, on the hill across the river from Saltzburg old town. The area is very peaceful and quiet, and you must take a bus to the city centre (or walk about 1h), but the bus stop is only about 500m away. The owners were very friendly and helpful, more than we normally experience. There is a small terrace. The apartment has everything you need, imcluding a full kitchen. Breakfast was great, especially as the weather was nice and we could sit outside. The owners do the breakfast themselves, and we did not wait at all for coffee, eggs etc. The road is quite narrow, so be preapred if you have a big car. Sufficient parking very close by.

Nothing.

The hotel/bed & breakfast is tucked away from the main road, pretty quiet and up in the hill. If you open the window you could hear the waterfall nearby and bird chirping. The room we stayed is spacious and clean, the bed is super comfortable. Breakfast was great. The hosts are super friendly. There are buses which run quite frequently to Salzburg city within 10 minutes.

The road from the main road to the hotel is quite adventurous (steep, small and curvy) but just need to be careful.

Caroline and Roland have a gift of hospitality. We felt very personally welcomed and catered to. They happily spent time helping us navigate the city, gave us maps, suggested a Salzburg card, and took responsibility for making the stay an excellent one. The breakfast was amazing. The quality of bed linens and the facility in general were obviously a matter of pride for them as it has been in the family for generations.

Nothing!

Caroline and Roland made us feel welcome almost immediately. She was perfect as a hostess. Breakfast was excellent and the weather allowed us to take it on the patio. This experience was the best one we have ever had at a B&B.

The location is on a very steep hill. Leaving in the morning to get the bus to town got our blood pumping. It does have a delightful view to the town below.

We came to Salzburg to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place was perfect for us to stay. the room was so spacious and very clean. there's a kitchen where we cooked our food. the couple owner was so kind, friendly, accommodating and hospitable. When we asked for help they tried their best to help us.

it's not that we don't like but a bit discomfort walking to and from the bus. with luggage with you, it's difficult to walk to the bus stop/station as a bit far and the path is a bit hilly, so the best option for convenient is to book a taxi which the owner help us booked a taxi.

Fantastic place, excellent breakfast, amazing service. We had long breakfasts as we weren't rushed at all by Caroline, we were continuously offered food and drinks - even Prosecco on the first day of the year! The room was large and super quiet, extremely clean. Absolutely loved our stay. In terms of location, I consider it as perfect as it was only a 5/7 min drive to the center of Salzburg

Everything was perfect.
