The property was a short walk from the main train station (very handy, as we were inter-railing and had a very early start on our departure day), and yet it was in a lovely quiet residential area with trees and parks. It was a 15 minute walk into the centre of Salzburg, but we enjoyed being away from all the crowds of tourists on our walk home. Our spacious room looked out over greenery and was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was a real treat: a spread of fruit, yoghurts, breads, eggs, various cheeses and sausages, salads and pastries. Herr Floeckner and his staff were extremely hospitable: on our departure day, one of the staff set out breakfast for us an hour earlier than stipulated.

Good location in pleasant safe neighbourhood just 10mins walk from the centre, the train station and all of the visitor attractions. Superb attentive welcome by friendly helpful proprietor and staff. Fabulously quiet, spacious, contemporary, spotlessly clean room. Super comfortable firm beds, warm quilts, towels, linens, shower gel, shampoo, lashings of hot water, kettle, coffee and even wafer and Mozart chocolate treats. Bountiful choice of deliciously freshly baked breads, fresh fruit, yogurts, hams, cheeses, spreads, coffee/hot chocolate machine, and yummy eggs cooked to order. The Flöckners were exceptionally courteous, helpful, informative and kind and an absolute pleasure to stay with. Can’t rate this place highly enough to stay if you are visiting Salzburg. We’ll be back!

The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities to make my stay enjoyable. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and they recommended many attractions for me to visit during my stay. Their knowledge of the area was impressive, and they went out of their way to ensure that I had a great time. The breakfast at the hotel was also fantastic. It was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. I particularly loved the coffee, tea, and fruit. They were all fresh and tasty, and really helped me start my day off on the right foot. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, the room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay here, the rooms are big, spotlessly clean and have everything you need and the shower is amazing . The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice served by 2 different very friendly and attentive ladies who will also make you eggs if you would like them. The hotel isn't far from the centre at all but as we had someone with us who can't walk very far we used the bus which was very easy or took Ubers or taxis which were about 8 euros.. The best thing about Flockner though is the staff ! They are all really lovely, the lady on reception ( unfortunately I didn't get any names) was very welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed meeting the owner and his wife and wished that we were there for longer to chat to them. Well done because you have done an amazing job with this place and I would be happy to recommend you to anyone looking for accommodation in Salzburg.

Nothing, everything was good!

Everything about this B and B is fantastic. A short walk from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof makes it ideal if you are travelling by train. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very well maintained on a daily basis. But it is the host Martin and his wonderfully friendly and attentive staff that make this place truly exceptional. On top of all that they provide a superb breakfast that would put many a five star establishment to shame. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Clean, modern, spacious room. Great breakfast. Located next to a large park and close to several good restaurants. Walking distance to city center.

No convenient public transportation to city center in case of bad weather/tired. No communal/shared hotel space outside of room. No air conditioning in rooms, even on a mild day the room was a bit hot, but the provided fan seemed to work fine.

Very spacious accommodation. The room was perfectly clean and there is a kitchen facility as well! The shower is working perfectly, and you will have a good quiet sleep. The breakfast is great (the egg dish was superb). The owner of the hotel will welcome you in a warm hospitality. Flockber B&B provide a hotel level service.

We stayed in the middle of the summer, and I personally didn’t mind because I like the warm weather (and room) but the building was always warm even in the night while the surrounding got cool down. Not uncomfortable but it was warm. It was fine for us but you need to use the stairs (no lift).

every aspect was excellent. short walk to mirabel square. staff were very helpful. room was large and very clean. bed was large and very comfortable. the building is very secure and quiet. breakfast was also perfect with a good range available. the coffee was excellent. bus number 21 was close by if needed however taxi is around 7 euro to get to mirabel square. all in all this place is gold.

Very good breakfast with made-to-order eggs. Comfy bed. Wooden floors and room lights give a nice vibe. Clean room.

The shower is only half covered by glass. So water spills out a bit after one finishes showering. During breakfast, some blueberries were served to guests even when they look rotten and moldy. Would be nice if the pillows have more substance or are more “filled”.

Quiet location, big very clean room. Nice bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Check in gent was very nice and stayed into his lunch break to accomodate us.

No major negatives. We arrived to quite a warm room, the fan was needed. Not sure how much warmer it could get and could be uncomfortable. Had to take duvet out of cover. A little walk from station, ok with small luggage.
