The hotel was managed remotely by passing on codes to gain entry to both the front door of the hotel, and the room door. Door no key or card required. Good communication throughout. Room was very clean and well maintained. Particularly liked the touch of croissants left at the door in the morning so you can have croissant and coffee which we did prior to leaving.

The only issue I have is there is no hotel parking available. However, there is a car park around 7, or 800 meters away built into the hillside, But this is not cheap. It is 20 euros for one nights Stay regardless of whether you are on a motorbike are in a car. Obviously I would like to reiterate, this is not the hotels fault or problem

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Our room was nice and warm (important by XMas season). Location was perfect, 5 minutes to Billa, 7 minutes to the garage place and 10 minutes to a nice street with shops, cafes and restaurants. Additional 10 minutes from this street to the city centre. The hotel does not serve breakfast, but every morning you will find some pastry near your door and there is a coffee machine on the 1st floor. It was a nice arrangement. Very supportive and responsive hotel administration team. We'll definitely consider staying at the location when planning our next trips.

It’s only a few minutes walk away from shopping and restaurants, and the street that it is on is not too loud.

based on the pictures on the website, one of the two rooms I booked was a bit smaller than I was expecting. And I didn’t like that the bathroom doors are just pocket doors, rather than actual closing doors. It made it a little awkward to be sharing a room with my brother.

The hotel was situated an easy walk out of the city centre, so we were not disturbed in the evening, but also felt safe walking out there at off peak times. Our hosts left us each a Mozart kugeln for when we arrived, and delicious breakfast rolls were outside our door on our departure day. The room was warm, much needed in the winter, but the windows also opened making temperature regulation easy. Replies to any queries on booking.com were answered promptly and clearly. This place was perfect as a base for our short spell visiting the amazing Christmas market!

Clean room and comfortable beds. 14 min walking from the centre, so location was quite ok. It was a plus that we could leave the luggage at the property the day of the checkout. In the morning they left us some bakeries at the door and it was lovely. Also, free coffee is offered. The stuff is very nice and replies super quickly.

The door of the bathroom didn’t close properly, and at some times might be uncomfortable. Also is self check in, so make sure you have your codes before arriving at the property.

We stayed only one night in Salzburg. The self check-in was very easy and the room was comfortable. Some pastries were left for us outside our door in the morning! The staff was quick to respond to messages. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk to many attractions in the center of the city.

There was some noise from traffic during the day, but it was quieter at night.

Really easy checking in and brilliant communication with the staff. Place was spotless and in good decoration.

The 2nd floor rooms have sloping ceilings. If you are tall you need to ask for a room on the ground or first floors. I hit my head so many times and in so many different places.

Christoph was very welcoming and kind. He was giving us a small breakfast treat every day and free coffee. The room was modern, cozy and warm (believe me you need the room to be warm in Salzburg almost all year! Everything was perfect

Host is really nice, we faced some technical difficulties with door, host came to solve it at 11:45 in night. Room facilities are also clean and well maintained.

distance is not too close from Salzburg HBF, but once you checkin, all placed in Salzburg are quite on walking distance.

Great location for those not wanting to pay the premium to stay in the old town.

Our stay was spoiled by some fellow guests who decided to drink in the corridors all night. Not a fault of the venue per se but mentioning it in case it's a theme with other reviews.
