The location is amazing, you can walk to the Mirabell or the train station in 10 minutes. Every night they play the film the sound of music In the common room. And they offer free coffee/milk/cereals in the morning. My point is the staff is so helpful!!!My iPhone charger was broken and I arrived so late at the Ester night, he helped me to charge it for a while and drew me a map told me where I can bought a new charger at night and recommended me a restaurant (which is soooo delicious!). Next time when I visit Salzburg I’d love to choose yoho again!

Maybe you can add a curtain for each bed? Cause the bedlamp is so bright, when someone turn it you can hardly sleep.

It's a big hostel, but it doesn't feel like it. It always felt like a very social hostel, so it was easy to meet people. The staff were really lovely, and that made it so easy to stay. Location is perfect. A short walk to the station and a short walk to the old town.

The only thing thing I didn't like is there are only microwaves in the kitchen, so two weeks without cooking got expensive. You might also want an eye mask if night lights bother you!

The location is perfect, far enough away from the city that you get some quality quiet but close enough to walk to without any issues. everything was as expected, very clean and tidy and comfortable. amazing for the price and we felt very safe and welcomed. also the house red wine at the bar is exceptionally good.

The only thing that would have helped would be some privacy curtains on the beds, mostly just to block out the light. the personal reading lights on each bed are extremely bright so if your roommates are coming back later and switching lights on it is very bright and will wake you up.

Did not anticipate having to pay for the use of towels.

It's very close to the train station and walkable to the major tourist sites such as Mozart's house, Christmas market, and most Sound of Music filming spots. The building itself is aged, but the amenities are quite new. There's a TV room and they arrange movie night very often.

I didn't like that the entrance to men's and women's toilets are shared, it's very weird and awkward. Another downside is that if you stay in the upper bunk, the ladder is very uncomfortable to step on, and it's unstable.

Lots of space and a little of everything you need, including kitchen, places to socialize, well-kept restrooms and lockers, comforts in the room like reading lights and outlets, friendly staff. Location wasn't too far from central attractions and easy walk to the train and bus station

One small thing that can make a big difference in dorm rooms - please consider putting curtains on each bed!

Excellent location, well situated at walking distance between main train station and sights/river. Basic but sufficient breakfast. Plenty of spaces to lounge around. Key card tapping operated lockers are a huge convenience (no need for own padlock)! Ample space for luggage storage.

Curtains for individual beds could help. Bedside lights are too bright and may disturb others sleeping. Toilets can get crowded.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at YoHo International Youth Hostel in Salzburg. The hostel was exceptionally clean, which is a major plus for any budget traveler. Location Consideration: While the hostel itself was great, be aware that it's located about 2 kilometers from the city center. This wasn't a deal-breaker for me, but it's something to consider if you prefer to be right in the heart of the action. Public transportation or biking (they offer rentals!) might be helpful factors to consider. Breakfast Not Included: Breakfast is not included in the stay, so factor that into your budget when planning your trip. There are cafes and bakeries nearby if you want to grab something on the go in the mornings. Overall: If you're looking for a clean and comfortable hostel stay in Salzburg and don't mind being a bit outside the city center, YoHo is a solid option. Just keep the location and breakfast situation in mind when making your decision.

Very spacious building with dedicated spaces for activities. Has its own bar and restaurant, kitchen, dining room. It even has a movie room! - where the Sound of Music is screened every evening. Plenty of chances to meet fellow travellers. The rooms and corridors are spacious enough giving an airy comfortable feeling. Staff are very friendly, available around the clock. One could buy breakfast or make their own meals. Locked storage in rooms. Quite close to bus stops and rail station - and very near Mirabelplatz.

I would have preferred in toilets were not shared (though baths were separate for men and women).

Hostel was great! Everything very clean and tidy. Location was very good. About less than 10 min walk to train station or old town. No AC but there was a fan in the room. I was a comfortable temperature all night. My room had a bathroom attached to it, which was a bonus since some of the other ones you had to walk down the hall for one. Did my laundry here and everything went smooth! Also enjoyed watching The Sound of Music which they play every night. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Wish there was a curtain on the beds for a little more privacy and also wish there were hooks in the lockers so you could hang things. Both minor things that with or without them my stay would still have been great!
