The location is amazing, you can walk to the Mirabell or the train station in 10 minutes. Every night they play the film the sound of music In the common room. And they offer free coffee/milk/cereals in the morning. My point is the staff is so helpful!!!My iPhone charger was broken and I arrived so late at the Ester night, he helped me to charge it for a while and drew me a map told me where I can bought a new charger at night and recommended me a restaurant (which is soooo delicious!). Next time when I visit Salzburg I’d love to choose yoho again!

Maybe you can add a curtain for each bed? Cause the bedlamp is so bright, when someone turn it you can hardly sleep.

It's a big hostel, but it doesn't feel like it. It always felt like a very social hostel, so it was easy to meet people. The staff were really lovely, and that made it so easy to stay. Location is perfect. A short walk to the station and a short walk to the old town.

The only thing thing I didn't like is there are only microwaves in the kitchen, so two weeks without cooking got expensive. You might also want an eye mask if night lights bother you!

The location is perfect, far enough away from the city that you get some quality quiet but close enough to walk to without any issues. everything was as expected, very clean and tidy and comfortable. amazing for the price and we felt very safe and welcomed. also the house red wine at the bar is exceptionally good.

The only thing that would have helped would be some privacy curtains on the beds, mostly just to block out the light. the personal reading lights on each bed are extremely bright so if your roommates are coming back later and switching lights on it is very bright and will wake you up.

Did not anticipate having to pay for the use of towels.

It's very close to the train station and walkable to the major tourist sites such as Mozart's house, Christmas market, and most Sound of Music filming spots. The building itself is aged, but the amenities are quite new. There's a TV room and they arrange movie night very often.

I didn't like that the entrance to men's and women's toilets are shared, it's very weird and awkward. Another downside is that if you stay in the upper bunk, the ladder is very uncomfortable to step on, and it's unstable.

Lots of space and a little of everything you need, including kitchen, places to socialize, well-kept restrooms and lockers, comforts in the room like reading lights and outlets, friendly staff. Location wasn't too far from central attractions and easy walk to the train and bus station

One small thing that can make a big difference in dorm rooms - please consider putting curtains on each bed!

The location was good because you walked to the Central Railway station within 10 minutes and could walk to the city center within short period of time.

The days I was staying in the hostel were rainy days. One day, I put my umbrella at the front door to dry my umbrella as the other people did when I came back after a city walk. But an hour later, I found my umbrella missing. When I asked the help from the staff at the counter who said that she allowed one guy to pick any one umbrella at the front door for use by keeping a five Euro as a deposit at the counter. She believed that the guy would return my umbrella after use. Unfortunately, my umbrella had never been returned to the counter until the next morning when I needed to check out. I was forced to pick out another umbrella as a replacment. I was so disappointed that the hostel staff allowed the guest to take away the property of the other guest.

It is a very cozy location with nice staff. I had a very comfortable stay. The rooms were a good size for a mixed dorm and the beds were comfortable. The kitchenette was big and had plenty of space in the fridge for guests to keep their food in. Lot's of kitchenware available to use. It is a short walk to the city centre and sights such as Mirabell gardens. They show the sound of music movie every night in the common room at 8pm and has for years which I think is a nice Salzburg touch. There is also a nice bar with great happy hour prices!

The showers were clean but I found that the toilets on the floor I was staying on weren't the cleanest.

This was my second time at this hostel, and I really like it! The rooms are clean and fresh. It does not feel like you’re living on top of each other, you can have your own space. There are power outlets, a shelf and a lamp inside every bed ”alcove”. They also have big lockers in the rooms that you open with the same key that you have for the door (but they obviously only work for your own locker), very convenient. The check-in times are also convenient, noone new will come into the room in the middle of the night which is very nice! The price is also very agreeable for Salzburg. It is also not very noisy in the night which is good

Overall I really like this place! So these are only minor things! - The knobs of the lockers are very small, and (at least for me, who have long nails) they were sometimes difficult to get a grip on to open. - there was a lot of hair in the showers every time I showered, which was a little nasty. However I’m sure that they do clean there very often still, because overall it’s very clean. - Last time I was there, the staff was very polite and nice. But this time they barely acknowledged me whenever I came to the desk to check in/ ask something/check out.

The staff was really helpful. I arrived early to put down my luggage in the luggage room and the key was tagged to a dog soft toy and they asked me to take the whole soft toy to the luggage room which I thought was quite funny. The hostel is clean, very organized. When you check in, they will assign you a certain bed and locker number so there wont be any "disputes". There was an area for your to eat your food, use their cutlery and clean up which was really thoughtful. There is also an area to watch movies and chill. The shower and toilet are separate which makes it more convenient for use.

Unfortunately as with hostels, it depends on your luck on who your "room-mates" are. There were people snoring so sleep was disrupted. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.
