The location was close to downtown and an easy walk to the old city. The staff was friendly and helpful. Several offerings for daily excursions that they will set up for you. We did the Sound of Music tour, and they scheduled our reservation and provided transportation to the bus. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was standard size. Decent breakfast room offering the standard european breakfast, which was nice and convenient.

The rooms were standard size for Europe and only accommodated 2 people, so we had to purchase a 2nd room for our kids. I am not sure what you would do if you had 3 kids. This made it a bit pricey. The heat was warm in the rooms and we opened the window at night. Unfortunately, the street noise and drunk people were loud late in the evening. The windows are high quality and would have blocked the sound if closed.

Excellent position, right at the entrance of Linzergasse, one of the main stroll roads of the city. Rooms were recently refurbished, and are arranged in a very rational way. Therefore, despite the surface is not much, they are equally very comfortable. Everything is new and tidy. There is a large and comfortable living room at ground floor, with free coffee 24/24. There is also a large courtyard which I think is available in summer. Staff is very friendly and available. Excellent value for money.

You cannot set the temperature in the room - control is locked. You have just on/off option. Parking is a bit expensive, you may find right outside for free on weekends and with parking ticket on weekdays, the problem is you have to renew the ticket every 3 hrs. The reception is unattended after 22.

It was very clean and modern. We were there for the Christmas markets and the hotel was nicely placed for these. All the staff, from reception, housekeeping and breakfast room were really friendly and helpful. There was fresh water and tea and coffee freely available 24/7 which was really nice. I would honestly go back to this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.

I had one tiny criticism and it's not really a criticism as such. It was toasty warm with underfloor heating. For me it was a bit too warm so felt really guilty opening the window before going to sleep. But after a day shopping and sightseeing it was really quite welcome.

The room was clean, comfortable, and warm, we had a garden view. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Luggage storage was good too, and the sofas and sitting area were great with free tea and coffee through the day. The daily servicing of the room was excellent too. You can walk to the old town or catch a bus just round the corner so a good location too. I would recommend to friends.

It would have been lovely to have had fresh, chilled water and glasses in the room. The cleaner removed our glasses. Also for future renovation if the hanging rail can be positioned at 90 degrees to it's current one it would be a lot easier to access in my opinion. Otherwise everything was great.

We stayed in a renovated room that looked just like the pictures. The bed was comfortable and you couldn't hear the neighbors. In the breakfast room they had everything needed to make a sandwich, as well as yogurt and croissants, etc. Pedestrian street starts right across the road and main sights are only 10 min by foot. Hotel was easily reachable by bus and taxi to the airport was only 20 EUR.

The room was quite small, which could be taken into account if you have a large or several suitcases with you.

Hotel is a short walk to the City Center and is accessible with Public Transportion. There is a Bus stop in front of the hotel. We often take the train when we travel, so it was really practical that the hotel offers a baggage area where guests could leave their luggage/backpacks in lockers and still be able to utilize spare time to explore the City while waiting to be checked in if they arrived early. Or guests could opt to stay too and wait in the waiting area where coffee and tea is served. For free. Smooth check in. Room is clean and warm. Bed is comfortable, with a firm thick mattress, crisp linens (does not itch!). Really relaxing after a day of walking. Bathroom has plenty of towels too. Breakfast is offered as well. Service is good, breadbaskets are often refilled, Tables are always available and clean, staffs were very attentive. Great place to stay in Salzburg.

The rooms were clean and had nice touches like toiletries, tissues. The main floor had a coffee room that was free and it was open all day and night. Adjacent was an outdoor patio. The breakfast had plenty of choices. The location was perfect a short walk over the bridge to Alstadt town. In front of the hotel was the bus stop, for the bus to the train station.

We stayed at the hotel September 22-24. It was the holiday of Saint Rupert's Day in Salzburg. No one at the front desk staff informed us of this. It just happened we saw locals dressed up in the native dress did we realize there was a celebration at the square next to Salzburg Cathedral.

The location was ideal, very close to Altstadt all within walking distance. Special mention to reception staff members Tanmay, Nikhil and the young lady, they were extremely helpful, polite and professional. The heater in our room was not working, apparently it wasn't checked, but Tanmay provided us with a heater that made the room comfortable.

On 19th November 2023 the lady in the evening at the reception was extremely curt and not guest friendly. TV was not working and when we called at the reception to inform she was extremely rude and unprofessional in her behavior stating that they are busy and cannot attend. When just a few minutes later we went down, there was no rush at the reception and her colleague Tanmay on the other hand was forthcoming and helpful, but the same cannot be said for his colleague the lady staff at the reception.

bedrooms were very clean and towels were changed daily. Staff on reception desk were very friendly and helpful e.g. Where to catch buses, booking outings etc. Breakfast was excellent - great variety (even a choice of a 5min or 7min boiled egg) Everything was very fresh and plentiful. Staff in breakfast room were also very polite and attentive. Location was great. Old and new town attractions were within easy walking distance. Plenty of places to have evening meals - reasonably priced too. Lovely to be able to use the tea/coffee room or garden whenever returning to the hotel

Drawers in the bedroom for small items of clothing in addition to the clothes hanging space provided. Otherwise, the facilities were very good

The rooms were simply furnished but brilliantly laid out. Plenty of room in bathroom for all our stuff, the bedroom had a bench which held 2 suitcases ( unheard of at any other hotel we’ve visited). It was spotlessly clean with quiet aircon and triple glazing to cut out street noise. The communal areas had free coffee and tea with a huge garden area with loads of seating. Also indoor seating if you wished. There’s a microwave there, cutlery and a vending machine with snacks. The breakfast was great. Loads of choice- eggs, cereals, cold meats, yoghurts, fruit and cheese and lots of different breads. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking under the hotel was easily accessible from hotel lift.
